It hurts!
This kind of pain reminds me of when Lina hit me.
I managed to stop the bleeding, but I’m barely able to stand.
Just as I somehow stood up and began to walk, the Silver Tiger blocked my path.
Black tears like particles were flowing from both of its eyes.
It seems like it has weakened significantly from fighting the kingdom’s army and the hunting team.
But it appeared to still have enough power to eat me alive.
This is the end, I guess.
The moment the Silver Tiger lunged to eat me, a stone spear shot up from the ground, impaling the Silver Tiger in place.
”Kent! You’ve gotten yourself into quite a mess. I’ll cast Heal on you right away!”
The ones who saved me from my desperate situation were Milly and her hunting team.
When Milly rushed over and cast Heal on me, my left side, which had barely managed to stop the bleeding, began to heal with new skin.
”Kent! You really took a beating, didn’t you? Well, that’s a badge of honor for a man. Hahaha!”
A man who resembled a Heavy Warrior smiled at me.
I recognized that face, and upon confirming, it was Matthew, the former leader of the Silver Wolf hunting group.
He seemed to be in the same role as me, using heavy equipment like a spear and large shield to absorb enemy attacks.
His worn spear and shield radiated an eerie light.
”If you keep talking like that, MilMil will give you a smack!”
A woman, presumably a bird-race from Garuda clan, was chiding Matthew.
I remember that this voice is definitely Matthew’s wife, Ms. Thelma.
”Hey… Its restraint time is almost over. I’m going to start chanting so support you.”
Then, a magician-like man standing behind Thelma began chanting magic.
”Okay. I’ll make a decision right now. Kent should evacuate.”
”No, I can at least keep it at bay with this magic gun, so I’ll support you.”
”Kent…I get it. I’ll kill it so it never touch your again.”
And then Milly started to show the same dark light again.
The faster Milly attacks, the more the Silver Tiger’s skin is torn apart. Then the magician-like man chants and activates magic.
”Gather, magic element (mana)! Transform into ice that will never melt for eternity! Absolute Zero!”
The man, resembling a magician, unleashed a spell as a white mist enveloped the lower body of the Silver Tiger, instantly freezing it and restricting its movement.
Then, Matthew launched his combat technique towards the immobilized Silver Tiger.
”Kent. This is the true essence of a spear wielder! Flash Ray!”
After Matthew’s spear was enveloped in white light, a spear of light shot forth from its tip.
When the spear of light pierced through the Silver Tiger’s torso, it scattered a massive amount of black particles.
Uwoooooo!
Unable to withstand the pain, the Silver Tiger swung its front legs around, but it didn’t even graze Milly, who was in its attack range.
”Now, let me deliver the finishing blow. [The Summoner of Purgatory]”
Though Thelma thought she was unarmed, she was actually a fist fighter.
Quickly, Thelma approached the wounds Matthew had opened on the Silver Tiger and touched them with both hands, causing flames to spread from the wounds and hastening the outflow of particles.
The Silver Tiger writhed in agony, breathing out flames in a desperate attempt, but those aimless fireballs only burned unrelated trees.
Restrained in movement, with a gaping hole in its belly and its wounds being burned, the Silver Tiger was near death.
And so, Milly aimed to deliver the final blow to the dying beast monster, going for its neck.
”Grand Cross Cut…”
As Milly accelerates, she jumps up above Silver Tiger with daggers in both hands, and the daggers crossed in a X shape begin to glow.
Then, she swung her dagger at Silver Tiger’s neck as she plummeted down, and a blade of light in the shape of a cross was shot out.
Swoosh!
The released blade of light severed Silver Tiger’s neck from its body.
At that moment, black particles of the magic element spurted out from the severed part like a fountain.
”Oh, you did it”
”If it doesn’t die, it’s a literal monster”
”It might actually be a monster…”
Milly and themembers of the hunting party were cut down the silver tiger.
Distracted by the silver tiger’s body, I didn’t see the head that had bounced away.
Indeed, the silver tiger was a monster, just as they had said.
Even with just the head left, it was gathering fireballs in its mouth.
I quickly warned the hunting party and rushed towards the head that had bounced away.
Then, I shoved Elitzina’s barrel into the eye I had shot and fired in full auto.
”You’re being so persistent!”
Ratatatatat!
Every time I shot, chunks of flesh flew everywhere, dirtying my face, but I didn’t have time to care about that.
By the time I ran out of bullets, there was a big hole in the silver tiger’s head.
Then, a flood of logs appeared all at once.

Before I had time to check the log, Matthew and the others came to thank me.

Milly hugged me tight and then started to cry.
This time, I also think I did something reckless.
