My name is Est.
I’m from the royal capital and work as an Accountant for the Kingdom’s army.
I was recently dispatched to replace the southern garrison that had been destroyed.
I joined the Southern Task Force for the extra danger pay, but due to embezzlement by the officers and the diversion of supplies, I never received my salary, and even food rations were delayed.
Just when morale was at its lowest in the Southern Task Force, I was recruited by Margrave Heido to join His Excellency Kent’s forces, and it’s been a month since then.
I’m finally getting used to my new duties, but the workload at the Estfort Garrison, where I’m stationed, is immense.
The pay and benefits are good, but there have been many nights when I had to stay back to finish work.
Today, I had to work overnight with my senior officer, Ms. Reina, to get things done.
So, right now, we’re in a break room in His Excellency Kent’s mansion, chatting to recharge before enduring the all-nighter.
”His Excellency Kent is short, wears glasses, and has a rather plain appearance, so why do so many beautiful women become his concubines?”
His Excellency Kent, the General of the Estfort Garrison where I serve, is a young man of 15 who holds the Kingdom’s youngest General rank, and he already has an astonishing 20 concubines.
By the way, my direct superior, Lady Lila, is also one of his concubines, and her daughter, Lady Miriallia, is His Excellency Kent’s official wife.
Both parents and children are so fond of women that they make their own belong, but His Excellency Kent looks not that good.
Rather, he has the kind of eyes that I don’t really want to be involved with.

Ms. Reina-san is from a merchant family in the capital and is great with numbers.
She’s a reliable senior, but ever since her family went bankrupt and she joined the military, she seems to have a strong attachment to money.
”Of course I would! IneIne told me that you get 3 large silver coins as a monthly allowance! And if you bear a child, there’s a chance they could become the heir. Then you’d never have to work again!”
I know that Ms. Reina-san always talks about wanting to take it easy and avoid troublesome tasks, but she’s also the type to take the initiative and get things done.
So, I can just picture her managing finances with Ms. Helga if she became His Excellency Kent’s concubine.
His Excellency Kent sure is generous with his concubines.
Providing 3 large silver coins per month to each concubine is a significant expense, even for the wealthy Blackdagger family, and it will only increase as the number of concubines grows.
The other day, when I overheard a conversation between Ms. Annabella and Ms. Helga, I was shocked by the amount they mentioned for the equipment and salaries of ‘Crimson Bride,’ His Excellency Kent’s personal hunting group.
The figures seemed unreal.
”Wow, but I heard that serving as His Excellency Kent’s concubine can be quite demanding. Captain of the Cavalry Ane said she wasn’t allowed to sleep until morning. Apparently, he spends time with several concubines, and the frequency is astonishingly high.”
I was acquainted with Ane from my time in the Southern Expeditionary Force; we’d meet during supply coordination meetings and the like.
One day, I saw her walking unsteadily, so I approached her, and she told me she had been on duty until dawn that day.
”I’d refuse an ordinary man, but if it’s a man with status and money, I’d do it as many times as he wants. Maybe everyone’s smitten with His Excellency Kent’s ‘tool’. The other day, when I caught him with Lady Lila in his office, he had a nice one.”
”Ms. Reina, you’ll be in trouble if you’re caught. Sir Kent aside, Lady Lila is a strict person.”
”It’s fine, Lady Lila was so engrossed that she didn’t even notice me. She was a mess.”
”I see… but be careful. It’s an unspoken rule among the civil servants to ignore His Excellency Kent having s*x with Lady Lila and Ms. Helga in his office.”
”Okay, okay, I’ll be careful. But you know, when you work at the General’s mansion, you suddenly stumble upon him with another concubine.”
Indeed, just as Ms. Reina said, working in this mansion sometimes leads to unexpected encounters with His Excellency Kent and his other concubines in intimate situations.
The other day, on my way to the bathroom, I came across Hunting Group Leader Giulian of the ‘Red Valkyrie’ and His Excellency Kent in the hallway.
It seemed like His Excellency Kent had climaxed, and Hunting Group Leader Giulian was comforting him.
I had to take a detour to avoid being seen and ended up taking a long way to the bathroom.
”Well, we just have to endure until the castle is completed. Once it’s done, His Excellency Kent should have separate living and working quarters, and he might show some restraint.”
”Well, let’s see… His Excellency Kent might not make inappropriate comments to his subordinates, but he seems to have quite the demanding nature with his concubines. Apparently, the other day during Ms. Nannie’s history lecture, he was touching her down there the entire time.”
”The whole lecture?”
”Yes, the whole time. She said he’d stop just before she climaxed, so in the end, she couldn’t hold back anymore and did it herself.”
”That’s quite a tease. His Excellency Kent can be a bit of a troublemaker…”
”But none of his concubines ever speak ill of him. If they were Standard-level, they’d surely complain about something. Instead, they all seem to enjoy it. I wonder if being a concubine of His Excellency Kent changes their perspective?”
Just as Ms. Reina said, His Excellency Kent’s concubines are astonishingly devoted to him.
Take Ms. Noemi, for instance.
Before becoming a concubine, she was rather cold towards His Excellency, but the moment she became one, she started prioritizing him above all else.
The sudden change surprised everyone in the civil service corps.
”Well, His Excellency Kent is a man of many rumors. They say he single-handedly killed a beast monster, or that he annihilated a thousand Iron Beetles with a single finger, or that he’s not even a Majin Clan member. There are so many stories that it’s hard to grasp who he truly is…”
”But unlike that idiot General Gertroud, His Excellency Kent pays his employees well and provides meals. He’s a good man for that. He appointed Sir Kondrad as the commander and trusts him completely, not interfering at all.”
”It’s true that His Excellency Kent leaves the army to Sir Kondrad and plays in the office. He’s an easy boss for his subordinate.”
His Excellency Kent is basically the one who leaves the military to Sir Kondrad, domestic affairs to Lady Lila, and Ms. Annabella to the deep side, and rarely speaks to himself unless he is asked for his opinions.
And he is very tolerant of people other than life-threatening mistakes, and from his subordinates I thought no one could serve him more easily.
At this time, the door to the private room, a rest room and nap room dedicated to civilians, built in the residence of His Excellency Kent, opened, and my junior, Sheema, came in.
”Thank you for your hard work. Are you only Ms. Est and Ms. Reina? What about the other girls?”

My junior, Sheema, studied Architecture at a university in the royal capital, but after struggling with tuition fees, she joined the army and was mainly involved in drawing positions and designing forts.
”No way! I haven’t written a contract with Merchant Guild or a store that joins Estfort yet. I don’t have time to help out with Sheema”
”If you have time to have dirty talk with Ms. Reina, please help me. I’m bored so we both talked about His Excellency Kent, right?”
Apparently, Seema is also interested in His Excellency Kent.
”Not because I’m bored. It’s a dirty talk to me to escape reality. Otherwise, I can’t do it…”
Ms. Reina still had a lot of work.
We are waiting for a check of the military equipment order cost processing and various expenses related to development work.
The other kids are struggling with numbers right now, but they’re not over so they end up staying over.
”Is that so…Ms. Reina. Thank you for your hard work. Can I also participate in dirty talks to escape reality…”
”What? This was a dirty talk about escaping reality”
