Noemi drew the Dragunov and dashed out from the carriage.
Noemi’s team had many members skilled in close combat, so she decided to leave it to them.
Noemi took the lead, unleashing her Gun Brawling techniques on Black Dog.
As Black Dog rushed towards Noemi, a gun was shoved into its mouth, and the bullet exploded its brain into a black mist.
Headless, Black Dog was kicked and rolled in front of its comrades.
Black Dog’s hostility concentrated on Noemi.
”A naughty dog needs a punishment.”
Noemi provocatively aimed her gun at Black Dog.
The team members also equipped their bayonets and prepared for close combat.

With the howl, about 30 Black Dogs charged towards the carriage.
The chaos quickly turned into a melee, and Noemi’s team began their brawl.
”From the rear, 20 more are flanking us!”

It seems the monsters intend to completely surround us and wipe us out.

I issued the command and opened the back door of the carriage.

This was a new standard magic gun created based on the analysis of Kent’s Explode Gunlance by Ms. Aida.
It was a magic gun that rotated multiple barrels powered by a magic stone motor, repeating the cycle of feeding, loading, firing, and ejecting for continuous shooting.
Surprisingly, it could fire a belt of 2 hundred rounds in just a few seconds.
However, due to its large size, it was difficult to carry manually, and the recoil was incredibly strong.
For this reason, the AK-MK01 was installed with a dedicated gun rack and shooting seat at the back of the hunting carriage.

The loader gave the shooting permission.
I aimed the gun at the Black Dog, which had already come quite close.
Seated in the gunner’s seat, I stepped on the pedal at my right foot.
Then, the AK-MK01, along with the gunner’s seat, turned to the right.
”Target acquired! Fire!”

As the motor roared, the barrel began to spin rapidly, with numerous muzzle flashes blinking as cartridge casings ejected and flowed into the catcher.
The dense underbrush was brightly illuminated.
While firing, I pressed the left pedal and moved the gun from right to left to lay down suppressive fire, preventing the Black Dog group from approaching the carriage.

The bullet feeder loads the next bullet belt onto the AK-MK01, which fires 200 shots in just a few seconds.

Manon seemed to really like the sniper rifle she received from Ms. Aida.

We rushed toward the target thicket.
After realizing we were approached, the artillery gecko tried to escape by dropping its disguise, immediately becoming riddled with bullet holes.
Five artillery geckos were holed up in the thicket, but they were quickly annihilated.
”Phew, I was worried for a moment, but we managed to wipe them out.”
”I thought it was dangerous when we were ambushed, but now the safety of the town street is secured.”
Noemi seemed concerned about the possibility of losing members due to the ambush, even if they didn’t suffer total annihilation.
However, she wore a bright expression, relieved that the damage was less than expected.
I had received reports that there were light injuries among the group, but it wouldn’t hinder our combat.
I recalled from the materials I received from Kent that this area was a terrain where magic elements tended to accumulate.
