Actually, the budget was an eye-popping amount, and the gemstones used were a whole order of magnitude more expensive than what you’d find in Capital City.
As Mr. Golerg said, even if we went all out, there was bound to be more than enough profit.
And so, in the blink of an eye, a week flew by, and the shield was finally complete. I decided to show it to Mr. Golerg.
”…Is this the shield you made?”
Mr. Golerg stood speechless, staring at the shield bathed in sunlight, its surface shimmering and sparkling.
…Oh no!!
Did I go overboard?!
I got so caught up in the decorating that I went crazy…
”Sister! It’s amazing! I’ve never seen a decoration shield like this before!”
”Oh my gosh! I’m so sorry, Mr. Golerg! I was just having too much fun decorating and went overboard!”
Seeing Mr. Golerg’s stunned silence, I could only bow my head in shame.
”…Well, I’m the one who commissioned it, after all… As long as the quest-taker likes it, that’s all that matters… Actually, they’re already here. There’s no time to fix it.”
”Eh!?Ehhh!! No way! Absolutely not!!Who in the world would like such a flashy decoration shield?!”
I personally thought this decoration shield, which I had definitely gone overboard on, was way too much for any nobleman to appreciate.
Just then, a young man from the Asura Clan entered the workshop.
”Mr. Golerg… Is that the decoration shield I commissioned for my investiture ceremony?”
The young man trembled as he looked at the decoration shield I had made.

”Lord Pearson… I’m, I’m sorry. This is my fault… I’ll remake it right away. Give me 3 days, 3 days and…”
Mr. Golerg, who was panicking, was suddenly seized by the young man’s hand.
”I’m sorry! I’m sorry! It’s not Mr. Golerg’s fault! I made it! Please forgive me, Noble Lord!”
I was crawling on the ground, begging for forgiveness from the quest-giving nobleman.
”Mr. Golerg… Did you include a Magic Tool that
”Hmm, well… I made sure the functions were working properly…”
”Wowwwww! I’ve been waiting for Equipment this awesome! Mr. Golerg’s stuff was top-notch, sure, but it was so understated! Having such amazing Decorations on it? This will be a treasured heirloom!”
Lord Parson clapped Mr. Golerg on the shoulder, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
He helped me up from my bowing position and extended his hand.
”You’re the one who did these Decorations, right?! They’re incredible! I’ve never seen a shield with Decorations like this! Since we still have some time before the ceremony, could you also decorate my armor and sword? Of course, I’ll provide an additional budget. What do you say?”
”Eh?A-are you sure you want my Decorations?”
”Yes, definitely.”
”Lord Parson, are you sure about this? It’s a very important ceremony. Your family is a prestigious one, right?”
”Maybe things were different for previous generations, but in this current world, simply being a prestigious family isn’t enough to survive. If we don’t stand out with something flashy like this, my family might be wiped out.”
The young man from the Asura Clan was a nobleman, yet he was incredibly perceptive about the changing times.
With the Kingdom in ruins, he realized that relying on its former authority wouldn’t guarantee survival. He decided to work under His Majesty Shifa and make a name for himself by drawing attention with extravagant Equipment during the ceremony.
”It was Ms. Rosella, wasn’t it? I want to use your skill for these Decorations.”
”W-Well, if my skills are enough… I’ll do my best, Lord Parson.”
”Lord Parson? How about you call us by our names? I’m Julius. Julius Parson. Like Lord Blackdagger, my rank is Count. I’m supposed to be the 50-third head of the Parson family.”
Julius smiled and offered his hand.
”Sir Julius… I’ll do my best.”
So, the over-the-top Equipment I made caught the eye of the Nobles attending Lord Julius’s investiture ceremony.
Requests for Mr. Golerg’s workshop started pouring in one after another, and things got really busy. In response to this, Mr. Golerg offered to co-manage his workshop, which was planning to relocate to Westferm, with us. Thus, it became the new G&R Forge──a joint venture between Golerg and Rosella, Rosana──serving as both the South District Margrave’s national forge and a custom Equipment workshop.
Mr. Golerg also stepped down as head of the Merchant’s Guild and decided to become the personal blacksmith for His Lordship.
By the way, the G&R Forge products I decorated became known as the “Rosella Collection.” They became incredibly popular as gifts among the Nobles, and their value skyrocketed.

After the previous head passed away, he inherited the title and made a lasting impression during his investiture ceremony with his extravagant battle armor, which caught the attention of his cousin, Shifa Secundadi. While his combat abilities remain unknown, his bold and determined nature as a young noble makes him stand out.
