Haruto stared seriously at an ultrasound picture of Haa-chan’s Mama’s belly.
Maybe sensing something strange, both her mother Harue and Haa-chan’s Mama stayed quiet.
(How do I explain “from inside her vagina”? What words do I use? It’s all made-up anyway, so maybe not an explanation at all. How do I convince them?)
”This breech position ── maybe we can fix it.”
’Huh?! H-how?’
”In medicine, there are Western and Eastern types. You know that, right?”
’I’ve heard of them, but I don’t know the details.’
”Western medicine is also called modern medicine. Like I said, the medical treatment you get now is Western.
But the massage and acupressure I do for mom and Haa-chan’s Mama are Eastern medicine.”
’Oh, I see! But a doctor must know both, right?’
”Not really. For example, about acupressure ── Western medicine doesn’t use that idea at all.
Doctors don’t say, ‘Here are nerves concentrated,’ or ‘This is a pressure point,’ do they?”
’Now that you mention it, maybe not.’
”So, just because modern medicine is Western, doesn’t mean Eastern medicine is useless.
Mom and Haa-chan’s Mama both know that very well.”
While Haruto asked, they nodded while rubbing their own arms, listening carefully.
Short explanation: Western medicine uses science and logic to find and fix the cause of problems.
Eastern medicine believes the mind and body are connected, and health is about staying in balance.
That treatment helps get back to that natural balance when it’s lost.
’So, if Western medicine doesn’t work, maybe Eastern medicine has a way?’
”Yeah, exactly.”
’But how exactly does that work? Is it something Haru-kun can actually do?’
”I can do it! It’s just a massage. A vaginal massage!”
’V-Vaginal massage!?’
”Yep, that’s right.”
’W-Wait, why are you so calm about this!? Why aren’t you embarrassed?’
”Huh? It’s a real thing. There are even pressure points for it.”
Haruto wasn’t lying. There really were pressure points. The benefits included:
balancing hormones,
relieving menstrual pain,
preventing atrophic vaginitis,
improving vaginal looseness and preventing urinary leaks,
and even said to help with infertility.
’Oh, I see… but even if it can help turn a breech baby, still…’
”I was just saying it’s a possibility! I know it’s awkward, but you don’t have to do it if you don’t want to!”
’Huh?’
”Hmm?”
Harue, who had been silently listening to Haruto and Haa-chan’s Mama conversation, suddenly spoke up.
’H-Harue-san, do you think it’s a good idea?’
’If there’s a chance it could work, then absolutely! I’d rather do something that might help than regret not trying. Pride is cheap compared to that.’
’Yeah, I get that, but…’
Haruto wasn’t sure why Harue agreed, but as far as he was concerned, she was a powerful ally.
He quickly jumped in.
”I agree! Haa-chan Mama, wouldn’t you rather have no scars left behind than having them stay?”
’…Yeah, that’s true… since Haru-kun made me all nice and clean, I guess it’s worth trying.’
With unexpected support from Harue, Haruto managed to convince Haa-chan Mama.
He was set to go to the hospital tomorrow, so he headed to his room to prepare.
The expression on Haruto’s face was unmistakable──he looked like a perverted old man.
