Haruto stood in front of a sleek, modern building tucked away in a quiet corner of Shibuya, Tokyo.
This was the headquarters of Luminous Promotion—the new company Sasahira had founded. She would soon become Yuna’s official sponsor.
”Wow… this place is really nice,” Haruto muttered, his eyes wandering up the building’s glass façade.
”Welcome to Luminous Promotion, Ichijou-sama,” a receptionist greeted politely.
In Japanese, “Luminous” means “shining” or “bright.”
As he stepped inside, still glancing around curiously, a familiar figure approached from deeper within the office.
Back when she was just a manager, Sasahira had a plain, modest appearance. But now, dressed in a smart blazer with light makeup, she looked confident and radiant.
”Well, well… President Sasahira herself came out to greet me,” Haruto said with a teasing grin. “I’m truly honored.”
”Please don’t tease me!” Sasahira replied, puffing her cheeks slightly. “Let’s keep things the way they’ve always been, okay?”
”Hearing you say that makes things easier for me too,” Haruto said, relaxing a little.
Unless someone had grown up around this world, they wouldn’t know how to behave in front of high-ranking people. Haruto was no exception. But despite being newly founded, Luminous Promotion already represented top-tier idols. That alone said everything about Sasahira’s capabilities.
”Please, have a seat,” she offered, gesturing toward a sofa in the meeting room.
”This is a pretty impressive place. How’d you manage to land a building like this?” Haruto asked, settling in.
”Oh… I haven’t mentioned it yet, have I?” Sasahira said, folding her hands politely. “My family runs ○○ Trading Company.”
”○○ Trading Company? That’s a major corporation!” Haruto blinked. “Wait… so you’re the daughter of that family?”
”I’m just the third daughter,” she said with a soft smile. “Besides, I’m not involved with the company at all.”
Third daughter or not, Haruto couldn’t help but think, She’s definitely still a young lady from a distinguished family. He didn’t say it out loud.
At first, he’d thought Sasahira had risen to power on merit alone. But now… he wasn’t so sure.
If she’d grown up learning economics and business from an early age… could she really have been unaware of the previous office’s corruption and financial mismanagement?
(No way… she didn’t take over by force, right?)
”Please don’t make such a scary face,” Sasahira said with a nervous laugh. “I promise—I haven’t done anything shady. Nor do I plan to.”
”…Alright then. I’ll take your word for it,” Haruto said, nodding.
”Thank you very much,” she said, bowing slightly. “Now, shall we get down to business?”
Even if it had been a hostile takeover… that was just how capitalism worked.
Capitalism: An economic system where individuals use their capital freely to seek profit.
The sponsorship contract for Yuna had come with a jaw-dropping price tag. But thanks to Yuna’s own wishes, the amount had been considerably lowered.
Haruto, secretly grateful for that, wondered half-jokingly if both of them deserved a full-course beauty massage at this point.
”I never imagined working with idols would cost this much,” he said, exhaling.
”Their influence is enormous,” Sasahira replied with a knowing smile.
Aside from Yuna, the other members had sponsors from fashion-related fields—major brands and apparel companies everyone knew by name.
”I get that it’s easy for a fashion brand to be promoted through clothes,” Haruto said, scratching his head, “but how do we handle a massage parlor?”
”I actually discussed that with Yuna,” Sasahira said, picking up a tablet. “Each of them runs their own streaming channel. They can showcase the parlor there—maybe even stream while getting a massage.”
”Wait… is it really okay to show idols getting massages?” Haruto asked, his brows raised.
”We’re not promoting them as ‘pure’ or untouchable idols,” she answered calmly. “As long as it’s within socially acceptable boundaries, we don’t impose any strict image.”
Socially acceptable: Common sense shared and recognized by most of society.
”There’s also a local community you’ve been cooperating with,” Haruto asked. “Would it be possible for Yuna-san to support them as well?”
Community: A group of residents sharing ties and mutual support in a given area.
”What kind of community is it?”
Haruto leaned forward and explained the project: a collaboration between the massage parlor, a local hospital, and a nearby swimming gym—all working together to support patients and community members.
”I think that’s a wonderful idea,” Sasahira said, her eyes shining. “Bringing social welfare and idol culture together… it’ll definitely lift both images.”
With her approval, the deal was sealed. The only thing that had worried Haruto was the cost—but with long-term payments arranged, he signed the contract without hesitation.
”The contract is now official,” Sasahira said, holding out her hand. “I look forward to working with you.”
”Likewise. Thank you for everything,” Haruto replied as he shook her hand.

• Yuna – Female. A famous idol. She has well-defined features and is described as idol-like in appearance. She is a member of a popular idol group known for intense dance and singing performances. She is considering an AV job, which is unusual for a current popular idol. Her relationship with Haruto is that of a customer seeking assistance.
