A man moves silently in front of an apartment room, his steps careful and deliberate.

The room is pitch dark, but he moves confidently, as if he knows every corner by heart.

One day, while walking down the street, he had spotted a woman.

Since that day, whenever he had free time, he would visit the area, hoping for a chance to be near her.

Using that ability, he even made a copy of her key.
Gradually, his eyes adjust to the darkness, and he sees her—a woman sleeping peacefully, facing the wall.
The man gently lifts the blanket at his feet, his movements slow and deliberate.
As he bends his legs, her silhouette is revealed, and he feels his heart skip a beat.

Carefully, he lowers the fabric she’s wearing, his fingers trembling slightly.
The color is hard to tell in the dark, but he notices the way it clings to her form.

The man leans in close, inhaling her scent deeply.

Probably due to his breath hitting her skin, the woman shifts, escaping his touch.
Now lying on her back, facing upward, she resumes her peaceful breathing.

The man immediately stretches his arm toward the ceiling!

Suddenly, the room’s lights turn on, flooding the space with brightness.
But the woman remains frozen, her eyes wide with surprise.
”I wanted to enjoy this moment a little more, but since you woke up, oh well.”
Yes, this man had awakened to an ability that could pause time temporarily.
Why the lights turned on when he paused time—don’t ask such petty questions.
”Now, let’s continue.”
Time has already stopped, so there’s no need to be cautious.
The man opens her fabric all at once, his movements swift and purposeful.

The man immediately begins to observe her more closely, his actions deliberate.

”Huh? I hear a voice? Time is paused, right?”

Suddenly, the lights go out, and darkness falls once more.
”Huh?! Wh-what? What’s going on?”

The light in the room turns on again.
”See, I knew it. Time was properly paused after all.”
The man, who thought he heard a voice earlier, first released the time pause, then paused it again.
”Come on, continue.”
The blanket, now regarded as a hindrance, falls to the floor.
The man quickly removes the fabric he had partially opened earlier, spreads her limbs slightly, and begins to examine her more closely.

”Hm? There’s a faint scent,” he notes, his nose wrinkling slightly.
Rather than a specific smell, it’s just her natural presence, but the man happily says this as he watches the woman sleeping with her face slightly flushed.
”How does it look?”
He wonders aloud, his curiosity piqued.
Loosening her fabric from her hips, he first exposes a part of her body.

The woman, reacting to his actions, starts to stir, her body moving slightly despite the time pause.
”Kuh! This is a tricky situation! No choice, I’ll use that!
The woman moved despite the time being paused, perhaps because she has a restless sleep.
The man, seeming to have a plan, begins rummaging through a drawer.
