Chapter 7 Haruto’s Daily Life

Class is over, everyone his age is heading home,
but Haruto is making his way to the library.
After what happened, Haruto’s been devouring books about the human body and medicine.
He got a Learning skill from God, so he picks things up fast. Now that he’s in second grade, he’s studying pressure points.
’Study freak, see you tomorrow!’
”See you, Yamada-kun!”
’Study freak’──that’s the nickname they gave Haruto.
He always answers the teacher’s questions, always has his nose in a book during breaks.
He’s smart, and all his books are the tough kind, so… the nickname stuck.
One time, he got caught reading a book about the female body.
So now, some of the girls whisper that he’s a pervert.
But Haruto doesn’t care at all.
With memories from being 42 years old, his classmates just seem like bratty kids to him.
He doesn’t even feel like getting mad about it.

After reading medical books for a whole year straight, there just aren’t any left. Not like an elementary school library is packed with expert texts.
(Maybe I’ll ask Mom to take me to the prefectural library this weekend.)
It’s Thursday.
Still got school tomorrow.
So, he just borrows one book and heads home.

”I’m home!”

”Mom, I’m doing pressure points on you again today!”
’I know, but wash your hands first!’
Before Haruto was hospitalized, he used to tap his parents’ shoulders and backs to test his healing ability.
After trying it on their stiff shoulders and sore backs, he figured out how long he could make the effect last.
For example:
Relief for half a day.
Relief for 2 days.
Or a full cure.
He could set how it worked, just like that.
But even if he did a full cure, the shoulder or back pain came back in about a week.
It’s not like a sickness──shoulder and back pain come from a bunch of things, like posture and how you use your muscles. Even if you clear out the pain, it just piles up again.
”I washed up, so let’s start~!”
’Want me to lie face-down again?’
”Yup!”
Right now, instead of medical treatment, they’re seeing how much massage and pressure points can help.
(Hmm, it helps, but I’ll have to do this every day.)
Haruto can tell what’s wrong just by touching someone.
He’s pushing hard on his mom’s back, on the pressure points for lower back pain.
Then, he notices something while observing.
”Hey, Mom, are you constipated?”
’Whoa! You can’t just ask a woman something like that!’
”I know, I know~. I asked because you’re my mom.”
’Haru-kun, I’m still a woman, you know?’
Haruto decides it’s getting too dangerous.
He silently presses his thumb into his mom’s butt and starts massaging.
(I know women better than anyone! This married woman’s butt is amazing!)
Don’t forget…
Haruto is an old pervert in a boy’s body.
Haruto’s mom, Harue, knows that since Haruto was released from the hospital, he has been reading books about the human body and medicine. She wonders if the near-death experience made him want to become a doctor.
But he’s only in second grade.
She supports what Haruto wants to do, so she helps with the daily massages and pressure points.
Sometimes he touches her breasts, and sometimes he touches her butt like now. She just thinks he’s being affectionate.

”Can you take me to the prefectural library on our next day off?”
’Sure, but is there a book you want to borrow?’

He doesn’t watch TV or ask for snacks or toys after school.
