”Assassination of His Majesty.”
In the game, they had gone after Rosella’s father. He was already an impostor, though.
”So they think taking the commander’s head will do the trick.”
A hint of annoyance could be heard in Rosella’s voice.
It seemed like the way a small country would think.
Most countries in this world were feudal societies.
Many of them were controlled by the will of kings or emperors at the top. It was not rare for policies to change completely when a new ruler took over.
But the bigger the country, the less simple things became.
If Akeios was completely run by the king alone, it might not be a bad plan. But even if the king died, Rosella would simply take the throne right away.
In fact, Rosella was more capable. So Akeios would only become stronger.
”Because they think we’re the ones who attacked.”
”If we seriously wanted to take Rulguard Kingdom, we wouldn’t need a sneak attack like that. We could take it head-on. How stupid is Rulguard Kingdom?”

From what Clad had told Marqui and from what he saw at the scene, there was no doubt that someone had attacked from the upper atmosphere with Magic.

In the game, the war had already started.
It was a desperate move by a cornered Rulguard.
In the current situation, it was a mistake.
Even so, the story still moved forward.
Right now, if the body-double king was killed by Rennes, the fact that he was a Demon God would be exposed.

Looking down at the same group as in the game, Marqui waited.
By now, the Rulguard Kingdom army that they believed in should be under attack from the Lust forces of the Demon Realm. They should be confused by the aphrodisiacs.
They were climbing up where the defense on the cliff side had become thin. That was Rennes’s plan.
But their trick was not working.
Even so, the defense did not move this way because they still wanted to settle things peacefully.
Marqui knew there was someone pushing Rennes, forcing her forward.
He would not let them have their way.
His eyes met with Rennes as she climbed smoothly.
”Ah, you are!”
”Unfortunately, your aim – “
”Pervert!”
”…”
Marqui tried to say Baggio’s line from memory, but it was cut off.
”Read… you knew we’d come from here?”
Back to the line from the game.
”I can’t let you go further. Won’t you withdraw? You understand the difference in power, right?”
”Even so, I’ll push through. If I don’t, I won’t be able to face my country’s soldiers fighting right now.”

In the game, Rennes defeated Baggio here and successfully entered Akeios.
First, he tried swinging lightly.
That alone pushed Rennes’s sword back a lot. She quickly adjusted her stance.
He could see her current Level.
Twenty-three. No corrections.
Marqui’s level was above even the Final Boss’s Level.
”No matter how you struggle, you have no chance of winning. Withdraw. If you die here, Rulguard Kingdom is truly finished.”
”No. Even if I withdraw, my country has no future. That’s why I’ll bet on it.”
Rennes’s sword shined.
That sword, looking closely, it was an Explosion Edge.
And the sword shining meant she wanted to use it.
It was a special move that could only be used once. After it was fired, the sword disappeared.
It should not be possible to get it in the early game. How did she have such a special sword?
”Fall with this!”
”Tch…”
Taking it head-on would not kill Marqui with one hit.
But he had no intention of playing around, and he had not prepared healing medicine either.
So he would take it.
The moment the blades touched, a bright light and explosion spread out.
Booom-! Marqui felt the impact on his body.

”How, how did it go?”

And he saw it.
Rulguard Kingdom’s princess, Rennes Vajin. She was almost naked.
Only her socks and boots were still on.

”Let me tell you something that happened a while back,” Rennes said.
”I’m listening,” Marqui replied.
”Knight training is brutal. You know that. So accidents… they happen sometimes.”
”Yeah, they do.”
”It was about a year ago. We were doing drills for fighting multiple opponents. I dodged one sword, but another guy came charging in, so I swung my leg up to kick him.”
”Uh-huh.”
”And I missed. The tip of my wooden sword went right between his legs. Nothing serious, though. Except for one part.”
”Ripped, huh?”
”So what’s your point?”
”Don’t you dare think this means you’ve won!” she shot back.
”R-right.”
Rennes slowly tried to get up, but a sudden gust of wind shook them both.
[Squelch.] It sank in a little deeper.
No binding force? It did not work on Bianche either. Do not tell me this woman was…
He decided it was better not to think about it.
”Think it’s better if we don’t move?” Marqui asked.
”Y-yeah, probably.”
He could feel slick fluid running down his length. They stared at each other with straight faces, but Marqui’s cheeks were turning red.
”We can’t stay like this forever. Can you move your arms and legs?”
”Worst case, some part of me is caught. It’s not coming out easy.”
That “some part” was the real problem.
”Before that, I’m starting to want to move my hips. When it gets like this, a guy starts aching, you know.”
”I haven’t even admitted you’re all the way in yet, so hold it.”
The tip of him was right at the entrance, just about to cross over.
”You think anyone’s coming for us?” Marqui asked.
”They’re probably looking, but I bet they’re heading to the bottom instead,” Rennes replied.
Her arms were not numb yet. But a chunk of the wall near the tree roots broke off.
”That’s bad.”
”Um…”
”Yeah?”
”I’ll admit I misunderstood some things. Bianche told me the situation. And you’re trying to help me now. Hah… hah…”
Rennes’s eyes were getting glassy. Her body was warming up, and she was holding onto him tighter.
”Since when are you – “
”I-I mean… I guess I sort of get why you’d want to… move your hips.”
”…Are you in heat?”
”Th-th-that’s not – “
They dropped. One of the small roots she had been holding onto came loose, and the angle changed. With the impact, there was a wet sound. The tip slid all the way inside her.
Rennes’s eyes shined with tears.
”I-I was… attacked…”
”Whoa, hold on. That was an accident.”
”You better take responsibility. At least say you… you love me.”
”Huh?”
”I don’t want my first time to be with anyone I don’t love.”
”Calm down. You’re losing it from the stress. Ugh…”
They were pressed close together. Marqui was holding back from moving his hips, but the tip could still feel her strong pulsing. Her body moved like it had a mind of its own, pulling him in deeper. The feel of her was rough and uneven, and each sensation hit him hard.
”I-I’m fine. I’m calm. Hah… hah… This is my chance to take you down using my feminine… advantages,” Rennes said, breathing heavily.
”Damn, this girl’s lost it,” Marqui muttered.
[Squelch-squelch-squelch.] Finally, he reached the deepest part of her. The tip pressed against her womb.
The root they were holding would not last much longer.
There was a rocky ledge sticking out below them at an angle.
”Jump. Hold tight,” Marqui ordered.
He swung his body hard.
”Eep!”
He leaped for it. The small root gave way and fell as Marqui’s feet hit the rock. He almost lost his balance but caught himself just in time.
”Wh-whoa… that was close…” he breathed.
”Ah… ah… oh… the impact – it hit my stomach so hard…”
A spray of fluid marked Rennes’s loss of control. And now the wet rock was slippery.
”Tch…”
In an instant, Marqui looked for the next foothold and jumped. He pushed off a tiny ledge barely big enough for one foot, then jumped again. He kept doing this until he finally reached the bottom of the cliff.
”Ahn… so… so intense… his – his attack – it’s too much. I might lose… but I’m not waving the white flag,” Rennes said weakly.
”Snap out of it. I’m pulling out.”
He put both hands on Rennes’s hips and tried to pull out. But then a beast’s roar echoed through the air.
”You’ve got to be kidding me,” Marqui growled.
They had landed in a forest, but the area looked completely different from the area around the church. They must have fallen past the Saintess’s Barrier.
In the game, this was not a place you had to visit. You only came here if you wanted to get Bianche’s strongest weapon. You could not cross the barrier without reaching a certain level, so you could not come here early on.
The level needed was eighty. For Marqui, it was easy.
Only endgame-class monsters appeared here.
”Five Cerberus…” he counted.
Giant three-headed dogs were moving toward them.
”Rennes, sorry, but stay clinging to me.”
No weapons. No armor. While protecting level twenty-three Rennes, it was actually easier to stay connected like this.
The Cerberus attacked first. Marqui dodged a claw from the front paw and hit it in the gut with his left fist. One hit was not enough to kill it.
But the mythical beasts could tell he was not normal. They held back, watching for a chance.
”Hah… hah… hey, what’s going on? Ngh… ahh…” Rennes whimpered.
”We’re surrounded by monsters in the late seventies level range,” Marqui said flatly.
”What?”
Rennes turned just her head, then held on even tighter and started moving her hips harder.
”Ahhn! Ah! Ah! It’s too much! Oh… ohhh…!”
”This woman’s escaping into pleasure to forget the fear,” Marqui muttered.
It was better to run.
But the encounter rate here was very high. The only way out was to reach one of the one-way teleport points deeper in. If they came back here later, they would have to start over. But they had no reason to come here anyway.
The forest path was mostly a straight line with no real traps. Just endless monsters to fight through. It was good for getting XP, but the risks were huge. Every monster here had instant-death attacks.
One Cerberus tilted its head back, opening its mouth wide.
”That’s bad.”
Death Howl. A skill with a high chance of stopping your heart.
Then something shiny fell from above and hit the Cerberus’s head in the middle of its roar.
”My sword?!”
Marqui jumped, grabbed the handle, pulled it free, and cut off the other two heads in one swing.
His favorite blade, which had been reforged many times, had an attack power of 193. Its shape was a little like a katana. It had been knocked away when he clashed with the Explosion Edge. It must have gotten caught on a branch, and now it had fallen right here.
With level 121 and one of the strongest swords around, he could take these things down before they even used their death howls.
”Ahhn! I’m gonna – I’m – gonna!”
The XP from the Cerberus kills went to the woman clinging to him and moving her hips wildly, too.

Summary:
Marqui and Rennes, trapped in a precarious physical entanglement after falling through a barrier, argue about responsibility while dodging literal monsters. Rennes becomes emotionally and physically overwhelmed, culminating in an involuntary climax during combat. Marqui regains his sword mid-battle, turning the tide against a pack of Cerberus, but their unresolved tension remains.
