Volume 1 Chapter 40 Sister, Fall I ♡

They were able to return from the labyrinth to the East End town without any particular issues.
It seemed that those who had been watching Kian and the others had decided to observe quietly for a while.
If they had attacked immediately, it would have been a different story, but now that they were waiting, it was a bit troublesome.
Kian and the others had to stay alert in town, considering the watchers.
That said, the situation in town had somewhat saved them regarding safety.
Matilda had been killed, and the receptionist Sophia was still missing──
The guard who killed Matilda insisted that Sophia was not dead, so the guards and knights had resumed their investigation, believing it was the work of someone else.
By the time Kian and Serena returned to town, fully armed knights and guards were stationed on the streets, closely monitoring the people passing by.
This meant that those who had been watching Kian and the others couldn’t do anything strange.
Even if they weren’t the ones who kidnapped Sophia, they could face severe torture if captured by the knights.
After discussing how they could feel somewhat safe in town, Kian and Serena parted ways as usual.
She headed back to the ‘Pumpkin Pie Inn’ located at the boundary of East Street and Central Street, while Kian moved north from the East Gate, leaving the town to head towards the Western Church’s monastery.
He intended to ask Aliona for help with a quest.
(Thinking back, it had been a while since I had a falling out with Ms. Aliona.)
As he walked along the well-maintained farm road to the monastery, Kian thought to himself.
’Yes, that’s right.’
(I had planned to come 3 days later, but taming the familiar and training Serena had been unexpectedly enjoyable, causing me to postpone visiting her.)
The day before yesterday, Kian had s*x with Esther at ‘The Boar’s Trot Inn’ and prepared for a quest.
His surroundings had changed dramatically, and he was no longer focused solely on Aliona.
He looked up at the purple sky, which indicated that dusk was approaching.
”I used to show up every 3 days for herb trading.”
’It’s been about a week since the last time.’
”Ms. Aliona is not only working at the monastery but also practicing as an herbalist. She seems to have forgotten about me and is busy with her daily routine.”
’Is that so…’
”That’s right. She’s probably starting to forget the anger of having her magic power taken from her, but the moment she sees my face, it might reignite. I need to be careful not to provoke her, ask for forgiveness again, and persuade her to join the party for just one day. It’s a very difficult negotiation, but I can do it. I won’t make any mistakes like the ones I made before.”
’I think this one is fundamentally mistaken from the start.’
”I’m not wrong. …Alright, I can see the monastery now. Let’s get focused.”
Under the evening sky, Kian adjusted his glasses with his fingers as he took in the rolling vineyards that undulated like waves.
He could see the distinctive architecture of the Western Church in the foreground, with young nuns moving about near the entrance.
With a refreshing smile on his face, Kian approached a nearby nun to ask where Aliona was.

(──In the end, Kian didn’t come today either.)
Sitting on a chair at the back entrance of the monastery, Aliona was absentmindedly thinking about that while she wiped the mud off her boots.
Outside the window, dusk had already fallen.
In the vineyards, which rolled like waves of the ocean, shadows of young nuns were scattered about as they tidied up after today’s work.
Their bright, high voices were singing a song that echoed through the countryside of the East End.
Occasionally, one of the girls would intentionally miss a note, and the others would laugh and pat the back of the girl who made the mistake.
It was heartwarming to watch.
However, Aliona couldn’t join in and have fun with them due to her mental age.
As an adult, she couldn’t act like a girl who didn’t know such dirt.
By the way, she had just been told by the younger girls, “Aliona, you can go home first,” and was allowed to leave work early.
While she appreciated it, she couldn’t accept being treated like a mother.
After finishing cleaning the mud off her boots with a wooden spatula, Aliona stood up and moved to a nearby mirror.
”……”
In the mirror stood a woman wearing a dirty white hood and plain work clothes.
Of course, it was Aliona herself, but just looking at her outfit, she looked like a typical country aunt.
She wouldn’t seem out of place picking up leftover grains in a wheat field.
(This is bad. Maybe I really am an aunt.)
She felt very down looking at herself after working in the fields.
It hadn’t been like this before, but since she had become intimate with Kian, she had become increasingly concerned about her appearance after labor.
…By the way, while Aliona thought she looked like an old woman, objectively, she appeared to be a beautiful blonde woman in her late twenties to thirties.
With her light golden hair and green eyes that seemed to emit a faint glow even in the dim light, she looked like a princess of a fallen kingdom who had matured into a woman with hidden sorrows.
Wearing work clothes gave her an air of mystery, and in the evening light, she even exuded a certain alluring charm.
”……”
Aliona let out a small sigh and sat back down.
With slow movements, she removed her white hood.
Her golden hair, which had been gathered under the hood, spilled down from her shoulders to her waist, sparkling luxuriously.
As she used a comb to fix her tangled golden hair, Aliona thought of the Azraelian young man whose face she hadn’t seen in nearly a week.
(I said some terrible things before… Since then, he hasn’t shown his face at all. …I… I… I wonder if he hates me now.)
It wasn’t that she was angry about having her magic power sucked.
It was just that she was shocked by the fact that he had sucked magic power from someone other than her.
In other words, it meant he had slept with someone else.
He’s already 30, an adventurer, and it would be strange if he didn’t have any experience with women, but she felt a vague uneasiness.
Not knowing what this feeling was, Aliona was lost, like a lost child, searching for a place in her heart.
(The fact that he hasn’t been here means he’s been sucking magic power from someone else during that time… Does he no longer need me?)
It had been almost a week since Kian had left her alone.
Aliona’s thoughts were now in a state of utter confusion.
She looked down at her own clumsy farming clothes.
(Of course, someone like me, a country aunt, would be less appealing than a waitress at a tavern, or a young, cute girl. Even if I were a man, I’d choose them.)
”Hmm…”
Aliona’s slender hands had found their way to her own breasts.
Through the plain brown work clothes, she slid her palms, stretching her breasts.
The lower part of her breasts and her n*ples rubbed against the fabric, sending a sweet tingling sensation through her.
(Oh no, what am I doing here?)
”Ha, ah…”
While her left hand gently squeezed her breast, her right hand reached for her crotch through her pants.
In the light of the setting sun, she heard the voices of young nuns singing outside, and she tightly gripped her crotch over her pants.
”Umm, umm…”
Closing her eyes, she exhaled a hot breath through her nose.
Her buttocks, seated on the chair, shifted forward, and her legs spread wide to make it easier to play with her crotch.
(Someone might come by.)
Aliona crushed her breasts in her hands and arched her back.
Her slender waist arched, and her elegant lips parted in the dim light.
The young nuns were still cleaning up.
Just a little longer.
One more minute──.
The elven mature beauty made excuses as she gradually became intoxicated with pleasure.
