Maribel must have noticed it the moment she opened the door, as she glanced briefly at Serena and Kian said,
”She’s Serena SilverWooloo, the adventurer party leader since last month. I invited her to assist with the ceremony’s security. I spoke with Baron Waterman, and if we can enter the arena, we’ll patrol together. If not, I’ll ask her to guard the perimeter.”

Stepping forward beside Kian, Serena calmly introduced herself, “I am Serena, daughter of Glen, Your Excellency.”
Maribel widened her eyes slightly, and the guards on either side stirred with excitement.
”SilverWooloo, as in the ‘Storm Herd’? Why would a member of the West’s strongest mercenary group be in this remote region? Are you truly related to the SilverWooloo clan?”
Kian vouched for Serena’s skills,
”Your Excellency, I assure you of Serena’s capabilities. She has a keen sense of smell, detecting explosives like blast bombs instantly. And if any suspicious individuals appear, she’ll excel in tracking them down.”
A hush fell over the guards as Maribel quietly observed Serena’s every move, her expressions, and her body language.
After a moment, Maribel spoke calmly, “May I see your adventurer’s certificate?”
”Yes,” Serena replied.
”Guard, check it.”
The guard examined the certificate and confirmed,
”It’s authentic, but only the name Serena is written in the designated field.”
”Ms. Serena, what brings you to this territory? Is it mercenary work?”
Serena answered honestly, “No.” As the silver-haired girl explained her circumstances, Maribel’s expression grew concerned.
When the silver wolf girl briefly explained the situation, Maribel looked difficult.
”I see…? Your Elder Brother is dead. The situation is the same as the brutal murder that took place in East End. Some of his body has also been taken away.”
”The murderer who killed my brother is undoubtedly hiding in this Izerland. ”I’ll return the Adventurer’s Certificate. Just so you know, Baron Waterman will most likely not pay you. The same goes for Sir McCutchen.”
