When Kian murmured this, Mrs. Colinna nodded.
”Hariette said ‘restoration.’ I don’t know how it differs from revival. If Ozeas, whose body was torn apart, could have his flesh neatly reattached, and all the blood and dead tissue could return to normal, then that would be restoration, wouldn’t it?”
The word “restoration” was familiar.
It was a Restoration Curse used by vampires to repair their bodies.
Vampires could manipulate their own metabolic rate to enhance their healing ability, but if their bodies were shattered beyond the point where healing could catch up, they could restore themselves by consuming a large amount of magic power.
Thanks to this Restoration Curse, vampires were effectively immortal as long as their magic power did not run out.
Kian had also once received a ring that could activate the Restoration Curse from Aliona.

Mrs. Colinna continued.
”Hariette and the others chose the assault team. Or rather, it seems more like they decided to stay behind and wait for our return. ”Where are Grandma Hariette and the others? Did Father get angry and kill them?”
”Before that could happen, Hariette and the others threw themselves into the gate to another dimension. After confessing everything to Glen, they took the chance to escape while we weren’t looking.”
It was a hellish story, Kian thought.
Almost all of the Silverwooloo bloodline has died out, and the remaining ones have gone on a journey to Count Cain’s territory and have not returned. According to Mrs. Colinna, this happened 3 months ago, so if the ones who went to meet the Thorn Spirit are still alive, they would have been wandering there for 3 months.
However, that is highly unlikely, so probably everyone who entered is dead.
”The only ones left are Barghest and me. Barghest told me to stay here, to remain and protect Glen and the others. Then he said he would find a way to restore Glen and the others, aside from calling forth the Black Onyx spirit.”
”For now, let’s close the gate.”
At the young man from the Wolfmen’s remark, Colinna shook her head.
”I don’t know how to close the gate. It was opened by the spirit’s magic, and Barghest said he didn’t know how to close it. If we kill everyone who’s connected as fuel, the supply of magic power will stop and the gate will close… But please, don’t do that.”
”No, no, outside it’s a disaster, you know? It’s full of Bloodsucking Kinds, and there have been many victims from the nearby villages. Killing the leaders will save more people.”
”Please stop. If you touch Glen, I will call Barghest. Barghest will prepare and come here, and he will tear you all apart.”

Serena drew her sword from her waist.

”I will be your opponent!”

In that instant, Rean unleashed a punch at incredible speed, and Serena took it straight to her face. The girl’s body was violently tossed into the air, rolling while spewing blood.

”Of course, we’re going to stop you.”
”Ms. Serena! Are you okay!?”
Sarah rushed to Serena and performed healing.

The atmosphere here is starting to tilt toward killing all members of the Silverwooloo family, including Mrs. Colinna.
We should somehow seize the initiative and keep their movements in check.
”Let’s capture Barghest.”
”What would you do after capturing him?”
”He should have a record that contains the method to summon the spirit of Black Onyx, right, Mrs. Colina?”
