Volume 3 Chapter 124 The Wandering Straight Punch I
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
Linca Tsai.
Her family’s ancestors were monks who lived on the border of Shin, a big eastern country. They were brave people who protected others from monsters and evil spirits. When Kian’s father, Umar, was young, Linca’s parents helped him a lot. Since then, their family supported Umar’s success.
Linca was born to serve Jibril as his helper, but she truly respected him and chose to follow him on her own.
Helping the weak and fighting the strong is the Tsai family’s belief, and Linca grew up learning this. But in Kian’s memory, this belief didn’t mean much.
Even now, he remembers.
He remembers, but his mind tries to forget it right away.
At Vahid’s evening party, surrounded by people who knew her, Kian was compared to Jibril and harshly scolded by Umar. With no one to help him, Kian’s eyes suddenly fell on the girl from Shin standing next to Jibril, and…
Her black eyes flickered for a moment, then looked away as if nothing happened.
At that moment, Kian thought, oh, so you’re the same.
Everyone was bullying me.
Mocking, looking down on me.
You, who didn’t stop it, are also to blame──.
From that moment, Kian Vahid lost interest in Linca Tsai.
Whether she’s from a noble eastern family or as skilled as her master, he doesn’t know, but inside, she’s no different from anyone else. Just an ordinary, unremarkable person.
So, Kian didn’t know much about Linca.
He saw no reason to know.
Who would ask a random stone on the road what it likes to eat?
Strangely, Kian only became a little interested when she appeared as an enemy for the first time.
* * *
”Aghhh!?”
A loud scream echoed from the hallway.
After a moment, the huge body of a Wolfmen warrior was thrown into the courtyard.
His body had no visible injuries, but he was already dead.
A female warrior wearing an oni mask held his heart with gloved hands and crushed it, then swung her sword as if splashing blood.
Red liquid splattered on the courtyard’s stones, and another warrior fell.
(The Shin woman I met at the communal grave. Linca.)
Kian pulled a long sword from his pocket and, while preparing it, instantly recognized the intruder’s true identity.
She wore black cloth armor that hugged her body’s curves.
Unlike other warrior monks, her cloak had no shoulders or elbows.
Her waist gear looked like a short skirt, showing her bare white legs.
Linca flipped her white cloak and took a unique stance: right hand forward, left hand at her waist.
Her left foot bent, and her right foot stepped forward.
Lowering her center of gravity, Linca faced the Wolfmen warrior who leaped down at her.
”OOOOOOOHHHH!”
His comrade had his heart ripped out and killed──.
In his anger, the young wolfman swung a falchion down at her.
His body grew stronger.
His muscles doubled in size, and his body was covered in thin silver hair like his ancestors.
The man, now looking like a giant werewolf, brought his blade down on Linca without slowing.
However,
”────!?!?!?”
The falchion cut through the air but didn’t hurt the female warrior.
The young man, who meant to crush her bones, lost his balance and fell forward.
Linca quickly moved her left hand from her waist.
The falling young man and the female warrior pierced his heart with her fist.
Linca’s gloved hand seemed to pass through the young man’s thick body easily, pulling out his beating heart.
”────…”
She didn’t look back at the falling young man.
She didn’t let the blood from the heart touch her body.
Her body twisted, and the red blood dripped through, making spots on the ground.
After throwing away the heart, she flipped her dark, wet hair and faced her next enemy.
”Get away from her!”
Kian shouted loudly.
”Don’t touch that woman! Your attacks won’t work, and instead, your blood vessels and organs will be pulled out!”
”Wh, what!?”
”──Shut up, I’ll kill you! Ooohhhhhhh!”
She dodged to the right, sweeping the leg of a Wolfmen warrior whose body had grown stronger.
The warrior’s leg was as thick as a log.
In contrast, Linca’s leg, under its layer of fat, seemed to hide strong, flexible muscles, but in the end, it was just a slender woman’s leg.
If it looked as it seemed, her right leg sweeping the warrior’s leg should have bounced back without causing harm due to its strong muscles. However, her black boots, reaching her calves, passed through the warrior’s leg as if it had no substance, cleanly cutting through the red blood vessels and nerves, moving to the other side.
”────?”
The feeling below his knee was gone, and he collapsed.
He might have used a special ability to see the future, but with that ability, Linca’s leg should have been deflected, and the young man should not have been hurt.
But it was different.
Nonetheless, he instinctively swung his arm holding the falchion, aiming for Linca’s neck, but before that, her sharp left fist passed through his shoulder.
Linca’s fist grip was special.
She hooked her thumb over her pinky and ring finger.
She slightly bent her index and middle fingers at the second joint.
The index and middle fingers, like a bird’s claws, ignored the thickness of the man’s muscles and tore into the artery and nerves of his shoulder.
”Ah…”
No resistance.
His hand stopped moving.
The fight didn’t even last a second.
No, it was a one-sided attack.
With her right hand’s fingers, Linca gently touched the man’s face as if catching something soft.
His brain was torn away.
This time, not even a death sound was heard.
”────”
Linca stood like a god of death as warriors attacked her from all sides──all 4 were killed at once. Her right hand, left hand, and the white, long leg that moved through the air like a blade. They ignored their armor, their strong muscles, their bones, and completely destroyed the vital organs and blood vessels of their bodies, ripping them out.
The surrounding warriors were frozen in fear.
On the other side, a single warrior was pierced from all directions by multiple black warrior monks and was finally decapitated and sent flying.
Kian rolled to the corner of the courtyard behind their screams and picked up the Windsong Blade leaning against the wall.
However, there was no time to put on armor.
Because it was unhygienic to wear equipment stained with blood when preparing food, he took it off. Kian is now wearing only inner clothes and a collar with ‘glasses’.
”Gh—damn it, the attacks—ngh—guhhh!”
”W-what do I do?! Agh—!”
”N-no, stay back, stay baaack! Aaaaah!”
Falchions sliced through the air, aiming for Linca’s body left and right.
Each time, Linca’s figure distorted slightly.
