Volume 3 Chapter 129-4 Quest: Nameless Ashura II

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

”You didn’t rebel against the giant organization called Azrael, so you’re called a coward…. So, have you managed to change Azrael?”

”We will change it from now on.”

 Shura smiled.

He took out the magic tool Linca had used to communicate with Jibril from his pocket.

”The world where everything is decided by talent will change. We will make it happen. We’ll create a system where both those with tachyonian cells and those without are given equal opportunities.”

The dog-eared warrior monk beside Shura opened his sharp-toothed mouth.

”You were meant to be a symbol of change, Kian Vahid.”

”But you no longer hold that value.”

”We will take the name Kian Vahid. As symbols of change, we will transform Azrael from within, under that name.”

”You are no longer needed, Kian Vahid.”

Shura swiftly spun the shamshir and took a stance in the ‘Shot’ style.

”I’ll kill you and carry only your name into the future!”

 ”……!”

A heavy pressure filled the air.

Not just killing intent—something deeper. A bond twisted by obsession.

 ”Shura, let’s fight together!”

 ”Yeah, my friend.”

 ”Everyone, let’s go!”

Shura and the others quickly formed hand seals, exchanging energy to strengthen each other’s bodies.

Qilin Technique — boosts attack power and speed.

Black Tortoise Technique — enhances healing ability and defense, and grants resistance against enemy spells.

Their energy (ki) layered seven times, resulting in an intense release.

Though none could match Linca alone,

they supported and trusted one another, compensating for their weaknesses.

Among Jibril’s warrior monks, they stood out as clearly different.

 ”Azrael, behold our brilliance!”

They raised their shamshirs to the sky, their voices echoing like distant howls in the Azrael language.

Together, they pointed their fangs skyward, as if biting through chains.

Rejected wolves had become a united pack, bound by strong bonds.

 ”Kyaaaah!”

As Kian and Shura’s group reached a breaking point, a woman’s scream echoed.

Everyone looked toward the voice. Linca, battered like a rag, was soaring high in the air.

 That was one Leap.

Sarah, dressed in black monastic robes and higher in the sky than Linca, appeared. She kicked Linca’s abdomen, smashing her down onto the roof.

 ”O……”

Linca collided with the roof, bounced twice, and rolled to Shura’s feet.

 ”U…”

Linca, barely alive, looked up as if seeking help. Her eyes, which should have been destroyed, were perfectly restored.

’It’s healing using an advanced “Wall” technique.’

(Experts in “Wall” can heal even missing parts, but is that what Linca used?)

She was using a secret “Wall” technique. The way energy flows in secret techniques is different from normal healing, but both are still “Wall.” Linca must be a master of the “Wall” style.

(The fact she didn’t heal right away means there are limits—maybe it takes time or requires strong focus.)

Warrior monks who specialize in healing like this are rare in adventurer groups.

 Kian grew more curious.

Quietly, he sent a telepathic message to Wing Cain, who was nearby, asking him to come closer.

 ”Sorry for being late.”

Sarah landed beside Kian. Again, her entire body was stained with blood.

It was hard to tell whose blood she had soaked up, as her black robes were drenched.

A strong iron smell filled the air.

 ”No, it’s good you’re safe.”

 ”You too. ──Now then.”

Sarah stood beside Kian and turned toward Shura.

Shura stared at Linca, rolling in a pool of blood, with emotionless eyes.

”J-Jibril… pardon me, I am sorry.”

 ’Shura’

 ”Hah!”

Jibril’s cold voice echoed from the magic tool in Shura’s hand.

’Throw the trash into the valley.’

 ”W-Wait, Sir Jibril!? …N-No! Wait…!”

Shura, gripping Linca’s blood-soaked black hair, leaped to the edge of the roof in a single bound. He thrust her into the predawn sky.

Beside Kian, Sarah muttered nonchalantly, “Oh dear, how unfortunate.”

 ”Linca!”

Kian’s eyes widened as he shouted.

”Linca! Stop it, Shura! Let her go!”

”What!? Have you lost your mind, Kian!? That woman’s an enemy!”

”Sir Jibril…! I-I can still fight—”

Shura released his grip on Linca’s hair. Kicking her forcefully in the waist, Linca plummeted, leaving behind a scream.

 ”Lincaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!”

”What’s wrong with you!? Why are you mourning that woman’s death!? Are you okay in the head!?”

Kian maneuvered his Wing Cain to catch Linca mid-fall. He also crashed another unit into the snowy mountain, creating a sound like her head had smashed against the rocky surface. Since Shura had been more interested in Kian than Linca, he didn’t bother checking below and returned to face them.

(Linca needs to stay alive. I’ll have use for her later.)

’You… One day, Lady Sarah will stab you.’

 ”You’ve interfered, Kian Vahid.”

Shura rejoined the group and took his stance. Kian and Sarah readied themselves in response.

 ”They seem interesting. Worth killing.”

 ”Sarah, be careful.”

 ”Who are you talking to?”

Sarah formed hand seals with one hand, activating Qilin Technique and Black Tortoise Technique. Her extraordinary energy (ki) significantly enhanced Kian’s body.

With a hint of excitement, reminiscent of her monastery days, Sarah shouted:

”Alright, let’s go, Kian! From here on, I’ll fight alongside you!”
