Volume 3 Chapter 133-2 Overlapping Figures With My Younger Brother I

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

Linca’s parents kept pestering her to get married. That somehow pissed off Jibril more than anyone else. They always tried to flatter Jibril—ever since Umar’s days—acting like loyal dogs, but Jibril didn’t think highly of them. Linca started to wonder if that rubbed off on how he saw her too.

”I mean… maybe they’re just trying to suck up to Jibril. Win some points.”

 ”────Are you jealous?”

 ”Huh!? N-No! Absolutely not!”

 (That hit deep.)

Kian was weird, but he had a way of catching her off guard. Linca didn’t respond and just quietly finished wiping him down.

 ”All done.”

”Then, time for the health check.”

Kian stepped out of the bath, dripping wet. Linca kept her calm, at least on the outside, and started examining him.

 His body was ridiculously well-shaped.

Her ideal man had always been Jibril—tall, dark-skinned, black-haired, dark-eyed.

And of course, Kian was Jibril’s brother, so the resemblance was there. He had muscles, which was good. Linca couldn’t stand men who were all skin and bones.

So, she instinctively looked away. To reset her brain, she started nitpicking.

”…Way too much stray hair. Looks unkempt.”

”Kind of expected for someone always on the road.”

”But even when you weren’t traveling, it still looks like this. That’s just bad hygiene.”

”You expect me to keep a Witch on retainer for hair removal potions? Do I look like I’ve got that kind of money?”

”Wait… you know a Witch in Izerland?”

”Seriously? Who would I even know?”

”────Yeah… right. That’s not something just anyone can pull off.”

(This guy’s been living rough ever since he got exiled… I shouldn’t judge. I’ve had my own taste of that.)

Linca snapped into professional mode. She activated her ‘Penetration’ and scanned him thoroughly. Kian didn’t flinch. He just stood there, letting her inspect everything. That courage—yeah, it explained how he beat her twice before.

But if there’s a third time… she’d win. No way she was going down again.

 Then she saw it.

 ”────”

”What? Use ‘Penetration’ on that part too.”

 ”Y-yeah.”

(W-What the hell? Even at rest it’s this size? This is… this is part of the process? I-I have to deal with this? It’s intimidating as hell, but… no health issues at least.)

 ”You’re acting like a virgin.”

”…I already said I am one.”

”Ah, sorry. Didn’t mean to insult you. Just saying what I saw. Don’t take it personally.”

”I—I just… This isn’t easy, okay? There’s no manual for this!”

”We could skip the contact part if you want.”

”But then the check wouldn’t be complete, right? Since I’m uncomfortable either way, I’ll just get it over with.”

 ”Then why hesitate now?”

That ticked her off. She’d never yelled at Jibril before, but now her voice came out sharp.

”Let me complain at least! You’re the one forcing these rules! Can’t I vent a little?!”

”Hmm. So you won’t back down.”

”I never backs down. I made a magical agreement, and I’m seeing it through. I won’t lose.”

”Alright. So what’s the result? Am I dying?”

Linca checked one last time. He smelled… intense. But her irritation made her immune to anything else.

She stood up and turned her back to him.

”You’re healthy. So we proceed as planned.”

* * *

Back when she was still in the monastery, the way boys stared at her made her skin crawl.

During training, after baths, they’d sneak glances. Her body had developed earlier than the other girls’, and her sharp features caught everyone’s attention—not just the Eastern boys, but even the Azraelians and Westerners.

She hated that. And that’s when she realized—Jibril never looked at her that way.

While other girls were talking marriage before they even understood love, Linca trained to survive. She preferred men who didn’t desire her. Men who felt… unreachable.

But Jibril got older. And Linca became a woman.

Stuff she used to find gross at fifteen? Now, at twenty-something, she could talk about it with a straight face. Her friends started marrying. Having kids. She couldn’t help but wonder.

 Meanwhile, Jibril stayed the same.

He only ever showed interest in younger girls. Pretty ones, sure, but it was always polite. Distant. Like he didn’t really care.

Sometimes, Linca couldn’t sleep at night.

Maybe it was regret. Or loneliness. Or the quiet ache of wanting someone who never looked back.

It felt like she was running out of time. Her instincts screamed at her to do something. To act. But with Jibril, she had to hide it. She couldn’t let him see the ugly parts.

 He wouldn’t tolerate that.

(But this guy… isn’t Sir Jibril.)

She looked at Kian, who was arranging cloth and robes on the rocky cave bed.

If it was him, maybe… maybe it was okay to show her real self. Just this once.

Their agreement required sincerity. Even if she lost control, as long as it was honest, it wouldn’t be betrayal.

(Still, I can’t be too obvious. This isn’t love. It’s just… obligation. He’s not Sir Jibril. And I’m not weak enough to fall for him.)

 ”Aren’t you going to change?”

He asked, looking up from the bed. Linca raised her arms a little, expression blank.

”I’ve heard that men assist in this part.”

”Then… I’ll help. Uh, what do I do?”

 ”I’ll manage.”

She reached for her collar. The black qipao wasn’t as complex as the disguise kimono she wore before, but it wasn’t something Azraelians would understand.

She gently untied the thin golden ribbon at the collar. Then, one by one, she undid the side ties. The whole dress loosened and slid off her body.

Only her undergarments remained. She didn’t try to hide. Her body wasn’t something she was ashamed of.

 ”Huh. Simple.”

”Practical. Elegant. That’s why I wear it.”

 ”Alright. Let’s begin.”

Kian reached out with his hand—muscular, tanned. Even in the dark, the contrast between his skin and hers was obvious.

 ”Wait.”

 ”What?”

”…Please don’t. It would feel like I’m betraying Sir/Mr. Jibril.”
