Chapter 227 Mashiro Kagaya ④
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
Completely spent in both body and soul, I pulled Mashiro Kagaya against me from behind as she lay limp on the bed. After the workout I’d just given her, her skin was hot and slick with sweat. I didn’t find it gross at all; if anything, that primal, feminine musk was actually intoxicating.
”Ngh… losing myself in s*x like that… just acting like a beast and switching my brain off… it feels good,” Mashiro muttered, her expression looking noticeably clearer. “It was exactly the stress relief I needed.”
She explained that even when you love what you do, things rarely go exactly to plan, and the pressure tends to pile up. Apparently, she’d been handling it with solo sessions until now. Her reasoning? “I might be a brilliant student, but I’m no genius.”
By the way… my c**k was still buried deep in her ass. That was probably why she kept twitching and arching her back every few seconds.
”You know, this relationship feels less like ‘Master and Servant’ and more like we’re just friends-with-benefits,” I said. “You don’t actually have any romantic feelings for me, do you?”
”I suppose not,” she mused. “I still don’t really grasp concepts like ‘love’ or ‘infatuation.’ We have a connection of the flesh – strictly physical. That makes us fuck-buddies, doesn’t it? But really, is there anything wrong with that?”
”Heh, I guess not.”
A transactional relationship where both parties know the score… I could live with that.
”Well then, now that I’ve officially become your ‘s*xual Servitude’ as per My Lord Master’s request, I’d like to ask a favor in return. Though, I suppose I’m the one who’s really benefited here – I’ve satisfied my intellectual curiosity regarding the mechanics of pleasure.”
”Hey, I had a great time too. Plus, I got to make you mine. I’d call that a win-win. So, what’s the favor?”
”Your Status… would you mind showing it to me?”
I went quiet for a second, thinking it over. Usually, your Status isn’t something you just show off to people. In fact, I’ve never shown mine to a soul. Sieben’s stats get peeked at via ‘Appraisal’ sometimes, but that’s it. Then again, Ishururu saw it once. She mentioned something about my ‘Seven Deadly Sins’ Unique Skill appearing as garbled text.
It might be worth a look just to confirm. Since Mashiro is a fellow ‘Teleporter,’ maybe the system won’t glitch out for her.
”I’ll show you, but on one condition: you don’t tell anyone. Actually, that’s not a request. It’s an order.”
”Of course. I have no intention of gossiping.”
While I was at it, I hit her with the same restrictions I gave Honoka: Don’t climax for anyone but me. Don’t get pregnant by anyone but me. That was the standard package for any classmate turned servant.
”…Wait, does that include m**urbation? Am I banned from reaching the finish line on my own?”
”You’ll find you can’t even if you try. If you don’t believe me, test it later. Anyway, here – my Status.”
I opened the display for her. Mashiro’s eyes practically locked onto the screen, scanning the data with predatory intensity.
”…Well, this is complete nonsense,” she said after a moment. “And honestly, it’s full of errors.”
I knew it was ‘nonsense.’ I’m over Level 70 and my parameters are hitting the Stat Cap. But ‘errors’? That was news to me.
”Your name, race, and Level show up fine. Your Job is ‘Avenger’… which pretty much confirms you have zero love for our classmates. Not that I blame you, considering what they did. Your STR and VIT are capped at 9999, too. But everything from the Skills section down is a mess. Every Unique Skill except ‘Language Comprehension’ is just a string of garbled characters.”
”I mean, having this many Unique Skills is a glitch in itself,” she added.
So they really were garbled. Ishururu hadn’t mentioned the others, but they were likely unreadable to her too. It seemed only the SR-rank skills and below were visible. And then there was the next part.
”What’s this category after the Skills? My name is listed under one of the headers, so I assume these are the people under your ‘Servitude.’ But every name besides mine is garbled. Does the system hide other entries from the viewer? And what about the section above that? It’s also unreadable.”
”That’s ‘Kin,’” I explained. “You’re right about the second list. And for the record, Yukiko Himuro is listed as Kin.”
”Why is Himuro-san the only one in that category? You two weren’t even that close back home…”
”Because the current Yukiko isn’t human anymore.”
”Ah. That explains it.”
She seemed satisfied with that answer.
”Next is ‘Summoned Monsters’… these aren’t garbled. Though, when did you even meet these two? And they’re labeled as summons rather than Kin. I guess that’s proof they really hate your guts.”
”Pretty much.”
”And your Titles… several of these are glitched out too.”
So the titles were affected? The ones I shared with Sieben were fine, but the others – like ‘Hero Hunter’ – were just digital noise.
”Hmm… I have a hypothesis. Want to hear it?”
”Let’s have it.”
”Okay. My theory is that My Lord Master is an ‘Irregular’ – essentially a bug in the world’s source code. The reason those skills and titles are garbled is because they aren’t supposed to exist in this version of reality.”
It made sense. It explained the glitches perfectly. But it didn’t explain why she wanted to see my stats in the first place. I asked her point-blank.
”The reason is… My Lord Master’s information isn’t being recorded anymore.”
”What do you mean ‘not recorded’?”
”Exactly that. My Unique Skill is ‘Philosopher’s Stone,’ which functions like a real-time, auto-updating encyclopedia¹. Think of it like a magical Wikipedia. But your entry – Natsumi Sasaki – lists you as deceased. It hasn’t been updated a single time since the incident. And it’s not just you. Honoka Narumi and Yukiko Himuro are the same. Their entries just… stopped.”
Mashiro was laying her cards on the table, but what she was saying was insane. Honoka and Yukiko’s entries had frozen? Was it because I claimed them?
”It’s not just the girls, either. Updates for the majority of our classmates have ceased. Usually, if someone dies, the book records the cause of death. Nishiyama, for example, is listed as being turned into a meatball by ants.”
But Sugita and the others weren’t listed as dead, despite the fact that I’d personally ended them.
”So, the people I kill or ‘Predate’ don’t get recorded as dead, and the ones I turn into Servants or Kin stop being updated entirely. Their future actions are invisible to your book. That’s what you’re saying?”
”Oh? So My Lord Master really did kill them with his own hands.”
She said it so casually. How could she be so unfazed by the death of her classmates? Does she just not give a damn about anything she isn’t interested in? Her mental wiring was something else.
…Then again, I wasn’t exactly one to talk.
”Also, I think I know why the Status system exists in the first place. It’s likely for management… or rather, surveillance. It makes everyone easier to track.”
”Management… surveillance. And there’s only one person who fits that bill.”
Goddess Aurelia.
The root of all this shit. The one who dragged us here.
”Exactly. The manager created the Unique Skills and distributed them to us. As ‘Heroes,’ we are supposed to be under the Goddess’s thumb. But by becoming your ‘Servitude,’ we’ve been removed from the network. That’s why my entry in the ‘Philosopher’s Stone’ froze. If I were still being monitored, my s*x life with you would be recorded in excruciating detail right now.”
It all clicked. That’s why ‘Seven Deadly Sins’ looked like a glitch to outsiders. It wasn’t a gift from the Goddess; it was something else entirely. And that ‘Invisibility’ extended to Lil, Leki, Honoka, Mihiro, and now Mashiro. Even the skills I stole were wiped from her radar because they were no longer part of the Goddess’s assets.
I was off the grid. Aurelia had no idea what I was doing. That was a massive advantage.
Given how half-assed that goddess is – failing to even set a proper time or place for our return – she probably hasn’t even noticed I’m missing from her logs.
”Honestly, the Status might even be managed by some middle-manager under her,” Mashiro sighed, looking exasperated. “If that’s the case, there’s a total communication breakdown² up top. Though, with a goddess that flighty, I can’t blame anyone for wanting to quit.”
She’d clearly heard stories about Aurelia’s incompetence.
But if this was true, then the Demon King who has the same power as me – Medinilla – must also be outside the Goddess’s control. That was a very interesting piece of information.
”By the way… since you’re still inside me, does that mean you’re planning on going again?”
I realized I hadn’t pulled out. I could have just fallen asleep like this, but talking about ‘surveillance’ and ‘bugs’ had worked me up again.
”Of course. You got a problem with that?”
”You’re such a lecher. But then again… I suppose I am too. Fine. Let’s continue… ah!”
We ended the unromantic pillow talk right there, and I went back to plowing Mashiro’s rear until she couldn’t remember her own name, let alone the Goddess’s.
* * *
The Next Morning
”Whaaat?! Yesterday was supposed to be my reward day! No fair!” Honoka Narumi wailed. “Kagaya-san, you’re a total snake! Master! Me too! Do me tooooo!”
I guess we were doing a round two. Or three. Or four.

Summary:
After their s*xual encounter, Sasaki and Mashiro discuss the mechanical nature of the world’s status system. Mashiro reveals that Sasaki is an ‘Irregular’ whose existence is no longer tracked by the goddess’s surveillance system. This revelation suggests that Sasaki’s actions are completely hidden from the authorities of this world, including the goddess Aurelia.
—
Trivia:
- Mashiro uses her unique skill ‘Philosopher’s Stone’ as a magical Wikipedia.
- Sasaki’s unique skills like ‘Seven Deadly Sins’ appear as garbled text to others.

- The status system is revealed to be a tool for surveillance by Goddess Aurelia.
- Sasaki remains s*xually active with Mashiro throughout the entire intellectual discussion
—
Character Insight:
Mashiro displays an almost sociopathic indifference to the death of her classmates, prioritizing her intellectual curiosity and s*xual gratification. Sasaki realizes he has a ‘stealth’ advantage that allows him to operate outside the goddess’s vision.
—
Behind the Scenes:
The ‘Ho-Ren-So’ reference is a common Japanese business mnemonic for ‘Report, Inform, Consult,’ used here to mock the Goddess’s management style. The ending features a classic JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure reference in the refined draft notes.
