Chapter 253 Goddess Aurelia ①
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
”—!”
(The Demon King’s presence… it’s gone.)
No, that wasn’t quite right. To be precise, the very existence of the person holding the “Demon King” title had been snuffed out. That could only mean one thing: the Demon King had been defeated.
”Hehe… Hehehe…”
”Mmm… Sensei-ssu? What’s… what’s up with you-ssu?”
Yoshino Mayuzumi, who had been sleeping soundly beside me, rubbed the sleep from her eyes and sat up. As the sheets slid down, her naked form was laid bare. I had been amusing myself with her body only a few hours ago before we shared the bed. It had been a sweet, cloying interval, as it always was-though that pleasure was likely one-sided, belonging mostly to her.
”No, it’s nothing. It’s still far too early, so go back to sleep,” I said.
”Fuaah… if you say so-ssu… mumble mumble…”
She must have still been exhausted; the moment she lay back down, she began to snore softly. Well, after loving each other with that much intensity, it was only natural she’d be drained.
More importantly, the fall of the Demon King took precedence. I wondered who had actually managed the feat. The Hero closest to the last known coordinates of the Demon King’s title was…
(I see. Michael’s Grace¹ and Parting Body².)
Among the Unique Skills³ I had bestowed, Michael’s Grace sat at the very pinnacle. It stood to reason that the wielder could achieve victory. I decided to pull up the logs to see exactly how it was done. Once I confirmed the details, I would overlook the battlefield and savor the memory of the struggle. It was, quite frankly, my greatest source of entertainment. I wondered what shape this final decisive battle had taken. (Hehe… I can hardly wait.)
Wait… what?
Did Parting Body just vanish? She was active only a heartbeat ago. What happened? No-stay calm. What does this mean? Michael’s Grace… it’s gone too!?
”What is going on!?”
I scrambled to check the system logs. The timestamp was immediately after the Demon King’s title reaction cut out. It was a tedious chore to sift through the data line-by-line just to view a scene, but I had no choice. According to the records, there were several others present besides the Hero’s party. But who? The names of those individuals were nothing but garbled text. A bug? I scrolled further back in time.
”No way…!”
The exclamation escaped me before I could stop it. The Demon King’s disappearance was completely wrong. He hadn’t just died. It wasn’t that his signal had vanished; it was that he could no longer be identified as the Demon King. The name itself was corrupted into illegible noise. I only knew it was him because of the situational data.
(I have a very bad feeling about this.)
Speaking of which, what happened to the Philosopher’s Stone that was supposed to be accompanying them? I couldn’t find a trace of it in the logs. Had it been destroyed along the way? Regardless, I had found the logs for the actual fight. I could view the scene now. I wouldn’t know anything until I saw it with my own eyes.

What in the world is this…?
What is this!?
Who the hell is this man? He’s wearing a mask-does he actually think that’s an identity? His name is… Sieben? I’ve never heard of him. And why is the Demon King some tiny, pint-sized brat? I was certain the Demon King was supposed to be a brawny, six-foot-six tank of a man. But that wasn’t the real problem.
Why were my Heroes obeying that man!?
It wasn’t a memory of my own, but I knew because this body remembered them. Narumi Honoka, Himuro Yukiko, Himezaki Rieslett, and Kagaya Mashiro. Why weren’t their names showing up even though they were standing right there? (No… it can’t be.) I checked the logs once more.
”This has to be a joke.”
The girls’ names were corrupted into garbled text as well. Everything was falling apart. I forced myself to keep watching. The masked man was sent flying. Even if his appearance had changed, the Demon King was still the Demon King; the burden was far too heavy for a mere mortal who isn’t even a Hero.
The mask peeled off. The face underneath was exactly who this body remembered. Sasaki Natsumi.
Wait-hold on a second. Wasn’t this boy supposed to be the very first one to die? Everything was wrong. And didn’t he just use Unique Skills that he shouldn’t even possess? But in the end, with only bottom-tier abilities, he was frozen solid by the Demon King’s power.
Shatter.
Narumi Honoka jumped in to shield him and was frozen along with him. They were both shattered.
(Ugh… she was the highest-ranking healer in that party. What a waste of a good pawn.)
Furthermore, that attack the Demon King used… I didn’t recognize it at all. But it was what happened next that defied logic.
What…? How is Narumi Honoka coming back to life? She was smashed to pieces! And what are those pure white wings? Then, barely any time passed before Sasaki Natsumi was resurrected, too. He wasn’t just back; he was completely overwhelming the Demon King. I mean, what was I even looking at?
The Demon King was suddenly stripped naked, her body arched in a forced climax… and then she was being violated. R*ping a girl that small… the man was a total monster. Then, the Demon King submitted to him. At that exact moment, the “Demon King” vanished from the logs. No-it glitched. The title became a string of corrupted characters.
(Ah… I see. It’s because the other girls submitted to that man as well…)
After that, Ise Maya-the one in the maid outfit, the Parting Body-was consumed by Predation⁴. He tucked the unconscious Yamato Hina and the Demon King under his arms. He looked up as if glaring directly at me, gave a twisted, mocking sneer, and then vanished from the scene along with the Mazoku⁵ maid and the girls following him.

”Ha… haha… what the hell was that…?”
A dry laugh escaped my lips. I had no choice but to laugh. This scenario had veered so far off the script I prepared that it was ridiculous. I suppose I could have enjoyed the unpredictability, but frankly, I wasn’t in the mood. That corrupted data had ruined everything.
I needed to dig through that man’s logs and track his records all the way back. And once I did, I would make him pay the price for turning my stage into a disaster.
Yes… I could still enjoy this. I need to find out what caused that glitch, but regardless, this world still rested in the palm of my hand.
In the end, while I gained a general idea of what caused the data corruption, it took five full days of in-world time to thoroughly investigate that man’s records.

Summary:
Aurelia wakes up to find her meticulously crafted ‘game’ in shambles after the Demon King is defeated by an unexpected variable. She monitors the logs and witnesses Sasaki Natsumi, a student supposed to be dead, resurrect and dominate the Demon King and his Hero party. To her horror, the system data for these characters begins to glitch, suggesting they are no longer under her total control.
—
Trivia:
- Aurelia is the one who granted the ‘Unique Skills’ to the Heroes.
- The Demon King was originally supposed to be a brawny man, not a little girl.
- Sasaki Natsumi was supposed to be the first casualty of the story.
- Character names becoming ‘garbled’ in the logs implies a systemic failure of Aurelia’s authority over the world.
- Aurelia is currently using a physical vessel that has its own distinct memories of the other characters
—
Character Insight:
Aurelia shifts from smug detachment to frantic anxiety as she realizes her ‘script’ has been completely rewritten. Sasaki Natsumi has evolved from a ‘bottom-tier’ nuisance to a ‘monster’ capable of subverting the world’s laws, including the corruption of the Demon King title.
—
Behind the Scenes:
The author notes that this marks the beginning of the final arc after three and a half years of serialization. The ‘Ora/Muda/Dora’ lines are JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure references used as a meta-joke to encourage bookmarks.
