The sound of a light knock echoed through my office.

”Master, I’ve brought your lunch,” Nadja said.

 ”Ah. Come in,” I replied.

 ”Excuse me.”

The door opened to reveal Nadja. She was a striking girl in a crisp maid’s uniform, with sun-kissed skin, a milk-white bob, and wide, golden eyes. She carried a tray over to my desk. Today’s meal was a selection of sandwiches, the various fillings creating a vibrant, appetizing spread.

”Um, please… enjoy,” she said softly.

”Thank you. I’ll tuck in… Mm, this is excellent. You’ve really improved, Nadja.”

I praised her and reached out to stroke her head. Nadja narrowed her eyes happily, a deep flush creeping across her cheeks. My gaze lingered on her forehead, where a single, small horn jutted out. Her ears were pointed, too-not long like an elf’s, but sharp and delicate.

She wasn’t human. She had been a goblin once, and this was her Anthropomorphism form. Aside from her skin tone, she looked exactly as she had before. Though she looked like a girl of twelve, she was technically an adult by goblin standards.

”So, Nadja. How are you settling in here?” I asked.

”Oh… well… I’m very happy,” she said, nodding. “The Head Maid, Lotte-san, is quite strict during work hours, but she’s very kind otherwise. Jessica-chan is a bit clingy, but she’s a wonderful friend. And Lil-sama, Marl-sama, and Honoka-san… they’ve all been so welcoming to me.”

 ”I’m glad to hear that.”

 ”Yes!”

There was no lie in her expression. She gave me a bright, genuine smile.

Watching her, my mind drifted back. It had been quite a while since I rescued her. Back then, Nadja had been a broken, tattered thing, standing on the literal brink of death. I had first encountered her about two weeks after arriving in Foxia…

That day, the Monster Hunter Guild was thick with a murderous tension. I had stopped by to turn in a request and collect my pay, but the atmosphere was suffocatingly heavy. It wasn’t directed at me, fortunately.

”Did something happen?” I asked, catching a fellow hunter nearby.

”Hm? Oh, it’s the masked gentleman,” the man muttered. “Yeah, a hell of a thing. About two hours ago, one of our own stumbled in, half-dead and covered in gore. Said a village was wiped off the map by monsters.”

 ”Wiped out?” I asked.

”That’s the word. He passed out before we could get the full story, but it sounds like a massive war party of orcs.”

”Orcs? Then why hasn’t a subjugation force been mobilized yet? If it just happened, time is of the essence,” I said.

”That’s the problem… word is, there’s a General leading them,” the hunter replied.

Honoka’s face darkened beside me. An Orc General. They were a different breed-twice the size of a standard orc, possessing high-level combat skills and a terrifying degree of tactical leadership. Worse yet, their primal drives were legendarily depraved, far exceeding those of their lesser kin. If a General was involved…

”So they have numbers and leadership,” I mused. “Where is the survivor now?”

”Infirmary. He’s lucky to be breathing after a trek like that without food or water. He’ll live, but he’s out cold for now.”

”I see. Thanks for the heads-up.”

We made our way to the reception desk.

”Ah, Sieben-san. Glad you’re back,” the Guild Receptionist said, though her usual professional smile was tight and strained. The entire staff looked like they were standing on a powder keg.

”I heard the news. Sounds like a disaster,” I said.

”It is. We’re desperate for details, but the witness is in no condition to talk. Actually, Sieben-san… could we borrow Honoka-san for a moment?”

I looked at Honoka. She nodded immediately. “I don’t mind. I go where Master commands,” she said.

”Alright. Honoka, go with them,” I said.

 ”Yes, Master.”

”Thank you so much,” the receptionist said. “Follow me, Honoka-san. Sieben-san, Lil-san-please don’t leave just yet. We may need to issue a formal request to you specifically.”

We waited for nearly three hours. As more hunters returned from their daily tasks, the hall became packed. The staff had clearly been told to keep everyone on-site. The air was buzzing with rumors, but the underlying fear kept the noise to a dull, anxious roar. Finally, Honoka emerged, followed by the head receptionist.

”Quiet, everyone! Quiet down!” the receptionist shouted, her voice cutting through the din. “A survivor from Nada Village has confirmed the worst. The village has been completely annihilated by an orc horde. While we don’t have an exact count, an Orc General has been spotted, suggesting a force of nearly two hundred. The Guild is issuing an emergency request: subjugate the horde and rescue any survivors. We are counting on you.”

The hall fell into a stunned, heavy silence. Dealing with orcs was one thing, but two hundred of them led by a General? Most of the hunters began to look at their boots. Lil and I didn’t hesitate. We pushed through the crowd toward the front.

”I’ll take the job,” I said.

 ”And me,” Lil added.

The room erupted in whispers. Then, Honoka stepped forward.

”If Master is going, then so am I,” she said firmly.

Despite our high standing, the sight of a masked newcomer and two beautiful women volunteering first seemed to make the older veterans even more hesitant. However, a rough voice broke the tension.

”I wanted to be the first to step up, but you kids beat me to the punch. Count me in-actually, count the whole Buccaneer Clan in,” a man said.

”Shamrock-san!” the receptionist cried, looking relieved.

The man who stepped forward was in his thirties, sporting a wild mane of gray hair and a thick, unkempt beard. I knew the name. The Buccaneer Clan was a twenty-man outfit with a solid track record, even if they were famous for being the biggest drunks in the city.

The receptionist called for more volunteers, but only a few more raised their hands. Most of the others turned away, unwilling to risk their lives. With a heavy sigh, she closed the recruitment.

”Volunteers and Clan leads, please follow me to the first briefing room,” she commanded.

”Got it. Honoka, stay here and fill Himezaki-san and the rest of the group in. Tell them they’re free to join or sit this one out-it’s their choice,” I told her.

 ”Understood, Master,” Honoka replied.

The briefing room was massive, built to hold a full academy class, but only a handful of us were scattered among the chairs. We went through the usual introductions. Most were Jade rank adventurers who didn’t leave much of an impression, but Shamrock was different. He was Red Copper rank like me, but his presence spoke of years of survival.

”I have to say, kid… your companions are breathtaking. I’m half-jealous,” Shamrock said with a grin.

I took a little pride in that. “Just don’t get any ideas, or you’ll regret it,” I replied coolly.

”Hah! Not a chance. I’ve got a wife at home who’d skin me alive if I even looked at another woman the wrong way.”

”What, under the thumb?” I asked.

”You bet he is! Shamrock being p**sy-whipped is legendary in this guild!” another hunter barked, laughing.

”The great veteran, defeated by a housewife!”

”Hey! Shut it, you lot!” Shamrock yelled, though he was grinning.

The tension in the room broke instantly. Even the most hardened hunters were chuckling now. Lil, however, looked confused.

”Dammit… just wait, Sieben. You’ll end up just like me one day,” Shamrock grumbled.

”Oh? I don’t intend to ‘whip’ Sieben,” Lil said earnestly. “Though I do enjoy being on top of him, or having him drive into me from behind.”

”Lil! What are you saying?!” I hissed.

 ”With a woman that beautiful…”

 ”God, I’m so jealous…”

”That’s it. After this mission, I’m heading straight to the brothel to have Alisha-chan comfort me,” a hunter moaned.

”Wait, Alisha the shrine maiden? Isn’t she in the masked guy’s clan?”

”Are you serious?! Dammit! I’m not crying… I’m not crying!”

”Talk about a death flag,” I muttered.

”Sieben? Do you want me to whip you? We could try it tonight…” Lil whispered.

”No, Lil, that’s… that’s not what he meant.”

 It was pure chaos.

”If you’re all quite finished…” the receptionist said, her voice dropping to a sub-zero temperature. Everyone went dead silent and bowed their heads in an immediate apology.

* * *

We were set to leave at dawn. Given the numbers and the distance, the Guild provided carriages. Lil looked miserable the moment she saw them-carriages had become a source of genuine trauma for her. Himezaki-san and Mime decided to join as well, which drew a cheer from the other volunteers. The Alisha-stans were particularly thrilled, though I doubted they’d have any time for “services” on a war footing. Shamrock was appointed the provisional leader; as a Red Copper rank veteran, he was the logical choice, and I had no complaints.

I spent the evening stocking up at the General Store Dekoboko before heading back to our new mansion. Since it was a big day, I planned on getting a full night’s sleep without any “extracurriculars.” Marl had other plans.

She slipped into my room wearing a gossamer-thin neglige that left nothing to the imagination. She knelt between my legs, her movements practiced and eager.

”Marl… I have an early start,” I groaned.

”I know, my love… that is why I shall only use my mouth~desuwa,” she whispered, her voice a breathy purr.

She took me in deep, her hands working rhythmically. Compared to Honoka, she was still a bit unpolished, but her sheer desperation to please was an aphrodisiac in its own right.

”Fine… but make it quick,” I said, grabbing her hair. I began to drive into her mouth, treating her throat with the same cold efficiency I used on a monster.

 ”Mmph! H-husband… so deep… mgh!”

I wasn’t in the mood for a slow burn. I hit her throat hard, forcing her to take all of me until I felt the pressure build.

 ”I’m close… stay right there.”

 ”Ngh! Mmmgh!”

I spent myself thickly into the back of her throat. I held her head in place, ensuring she took every drop. She swallowed heavily, her eyes fluttering.

 ”There… I’m full of my husband’s essence now~desuwa… hah… hah…”

”Good. Now go back to your room and get some sleep,” I said.

”But Master… you’re still so hard~desuwa you know,” she noted, glancing down.

”Because of you. Go on, I need to rest.”

”Then please, just sleep… I will take care of the rest…”

She pushed me back onto the pillows, discarded her lace scrap of a panty, and slid down onto me. She was already slick and ready; I slid into her heat with effortless ease.

”Ah… mmm… your size… it always fills me so completely~desuwa… ah! Yes!”

She began to ride me with a feverish intensity, her face a mask of pure, wanton bliss. She really had turned into quite the little nymphomaniac.

”Whatever. Do what you want. I’m sleeping,” I muttered.

”Sweet dreams… my love… ah! Ahhh!”

Wrapped in her warmth and lulled by her soft, rhythmic cries, I finally drifted off into a deep sleep.
