Chapter 129 The Siren Song of Tentacles and a Sister’s Kiss
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
She simply had to take issue with this—she was furious, she really was.
The food in the Workshop, which was fresh, expertly seasoned, and easily on par with the quality served in the royal palace, tasted particularly good because she had the pleasure of sitting at the table with her Master and bad-tempered friend. This much she was forced to realize.
Therefore, she sat silently, picking at her cooling dinner with her chopsticks. Her vexed expression must have seemed incredibly stubborn. Even Suzuri, who was usually so quiet and only listened to everyone else’s conversations, occasionally paused her meal to try and placate her.
”I-I’m certain he isn’t simply indulging in pointless pleasure, Sister. For this one time, maybe we could forgive him?” Suzuri murmured softly.
It was likely that even Suzuri didn’t fully grasp why she maintained such a black mood. On the surface, one could assume that the Princess, who valued discipline, was simply concerned about the moral decay of the Workshop family after their Master had broken his promise to return by dinner. That was a plausible explanation. Her peace-loving younger sister surely felt that resolving their strained relationship was best for the entire family. But she knew the junior servant, who also served as their Master’s advisor, couldn’t be blind to the real reason, and she felt confused.
The truth was, she had only set the dinner time limit to light a fire under her friend. She honestly believed he could take two or three days if his work wasn’t going well.
Yet, it was also true that a spiraling anxiety was coiling in her chest: the sense that her Master had gone somewhere beyond her reach.
Earlier, she’d witnessed a supportive element, which had appeared right in front of her eyes, pilfer one of the tablets they’d retrieved from the Individual Domain. Startled and annoyed, she burst into his bedroom, only to find it empty.
In a panic, she woke Suzuri. But her younger sister only looked unconcerned, celebrated the fact that their Master must have gained a higher degree of control over his elements, and immediately went back to sleep.
”When do you think Yuuri and the others will be back?”
As the question slipped out, she realized it was a barb aimed at Suzuri. And she also knew her astute younger sister would see right through the true meaning of her words. She was mortified—the mask of deep, thoughtful anger she’d so carefully constructed had just shattered. She felt her cheeks, and even her ears, grow intensely hot under the direct gaze of Suzuri’s dark, jet-black eyes.
”Please don’t worry, Sister. Even if you manage to patch things up with him, Yuuri wouldn’t cast us aside. That man doesn’t easily let go of any woman he’s decided to keep by his side,” Suzuri consoled her.
”I-I know that, yo,” she stammered.
Despite her embarrassing display, her thoughtful sister didn’t mock her attempt to save face. Even though she herself had just risen a step in his favor, she acted as the one being left behind, showing a willingness to comfort her insecurity.
That’s why, when Suzuri quietly moved closer and wrapped a supple arm around her waist, she couldn’t manage to scold her right away.
”W-Wait! Th-that’s too close!” she protested.
”Nfufu. This is just a sister’s embrace, isn’t it?” she cooed.
Seeing her weak resistance, Suzuri’s contact grew bolder. She pressed her large chest, which was proportionally bigger than her own, firmly against her shoulder until its shape yielded. Alarmed by the soft pressure, she choked on her words, yet managed to turn her face toward her to protest—only to find herself staring directly into Suzuri’s jet-black eyes, which were as deep as the night sky.
”Marina-dono¹! Oh, your golden light is so brilliantly radiant!” Suzuri gasped.
”Y-yeah. And your eyes are so deep, I feel like I’m going to be sucked in. It makes my heart pound,” she confessed.
Black and gold: the two pairs of eyes met, and in that instant, their gazes tangled as if they were paralyzed. Even as they exchanged compliments with their breaths mingling, neither of them showed any sign of ending their intense examination of the other’s pupils. They leaned in, uncaring that their noses might touch, sinking into the abyss that she usually only viewed from a distance.
Before she knew it, Suzuri’s hand had encircled the back of her neck. In the split second her attention was drawn there, Suzuri stole her lips.
”Ch-you’re going too far! ♡ Nfūu! ♡” she protested breathlessly.
It was a light contact, a mere brush. Yet, as she struggled and tried to pull away, she was instantly cornered into the small divider of the two-seater booth. Her mind focused on trying to pull away with raw force, which only allowed Suzuri to press her lips even harder against hers, where her attention had lapsed. As she panicked, her rigid arms failed, and she let her supple body slip even deeper into her embrace.
Finally, the back of her head hit the frosted glass of the divider, trapping her. The moment she opened her mouth to try and placate her again, Suzuri’s small tongue smoothly slipped into her mouth.
”Hyu-fūu! ♡” she gasped.
”Nnnh! ♡” Suzuri responded.
They both widened their eyes at the smallness of her tongue. Yuuri’s tongue, when it plunged into her mouth, was always rough and so large that it felt overwhelming, leaving her no escape.
In contrast, how incredibly modest was the touch between two women? The new discovery made her forget to push her away, and out of curiosity, she timidly intertwined her own tongue with hers, tracing the shape of her mouth with her own.
”Hya! Your tongue, Sister, it’s so adorable!” Suzuri gushed.
”Ham! Suzuri’s is too! Churu! I never knew a girl’s tongue was so small!” she slurped.
As a servant, she couldn’t help but be constantly reminded of her nature to seek out her Master’s close attention. She had always been the last bastion of reason for the Workshop, keeping a close eye to ensure things didn’t escalate outside the private room. Therefore, she should have scolded her for such an intimate act between two servants, no matter how much affection her younger sister was showing.
But after she’d been rebuffed in the Master’s empty room, the raw traces of their intimate moment and the lingering scent of his essence had set her lower abdomen throbbing. She barely managed to flee and calm her body, yet this contact had reignited that heat.
Before she knew it, the combined force of her body, desperately seeking her Master, and her sister’s comfort, which soothed her fear of being left behind in his favor, had completely eroded her will to resist. She frantically tried to push Suzuri away, but her arms were locked tightly around her, and her weakened limbs refused to budge. Just as she feared she would suffer the intense experience of being overcome by her own sister, Suzuri pulled her lips away, twitched her nose, and fixed her gaze on the bedroom door.
”I-Is he back?” she whispered.
”No, I don’t think so… But I thought I caught a slight scent of Yuuri,” she explained.
At this point, just the mention of the Master’s name made her lower abdomen tighten. She couldn’t tell if Suzuri sensed it through the contact of their intricate marks, but she came back to her senses and pushed her away. Suzuri let go remarkably easily, immediately breaking off her intense comfort.
”Should I go check on things?” she offered.
”N-No. I’ll go,” she insisted.
Even though the Master’s earlier attentions had put them on an uneven playing field, she felt a deep inadequacy for being so easily manipulated. If Yuuri was back, she needed to lecture him, but in this state, she doubted she could maintain a stern composure. Yet, she refused Suzuri’s offer out of a simple, deep-seated pride as the senior servant.
Considering Suzuri’s statement, Yuuri and the others were likely still absent. The only reason she hadn’t severed the elements earlier was because she could tell by the smell that they were a part of her Master. So, if Suzuri, the servant with the sharpest senses, detected a faint scent of the Master in the bedroom, it could only mean that Yuuri had manifested a supportive element or two. That’s precisely why she couldn’t let Suzuri go. Her younger sister would welcome the elements, and Yuuri might forcefully summon her into his ‘element space’ or whatever it was called. That was a situation she, as the Master’s second-in-command and friend, absolutely could not tolerate. Even if her body was aroused and she had zero tolerance for his elements, if she didn’t face him now, she truly risked being surpassed by Suzuri in Yuuri’s favor.
—Neither in this life nor the last have I ever lived a life of following others.
While she accepted the inescapable fate of death and the Gods, she would never compromise on anything else. Her goal was to establish a peaceful reign in this country. That ambition could only be achieved if she maintained Yuuri’s trust with Ashley at her side, and yielding the second servant position to Suzuri would be an absolute mortal blow.
”Then, I’ll clean up here. I wouldn’t want you to be too tempted to cling to me again.”
”Yeah. That would be a help,” she agreed.
Suzuri was fundamentally unambitious. Having already received such an invaluable salvation and fate from Yuuri, she had no desire to push others aside for more. If Suzuri were with her when she confronted Yuuri, her pitiful friend would surely beg for her help. It was rational not to bring Suzuri along to force her tyrannical Master to show some restraint, and she was doubly relieved that Suzuri had offered to stay behind herself.
As a result, the moment she stood up and stepped into the hallway, her steps faltered slightly, partly because she wasn’t fully in control of her senses.
”Whoa! Wait!” she gasped.
”Are you alright, Sister?!” Suzuri exclaimed.
But Suzuri was quick. She rushed forward with incredible speed, catching her body just as she was about to collapse, stabilizing her almost simultaneously with her attempt to brace herself with her legs.
In that instant, a deep, sweet current of arousal rushed down from her chest and pierced her core. The reason was simple: when two people of the same build, both with substantial chests, collided, the elasticity created a large rebound. Since only one of them was highly aroused, the result was incredibly unfair. As Suzuri held her weakened body, the situation became the exact opposite of when they first met and embraced while unclothed.
”Ah! Wait, stop!” she pleaded.
”C-Clumsy of me, forgive me! Here, lean on me. Hold on tight,” she quickly replied.
Since this had unintentionally become a reenactment of their former mark’s initial joining, she flinched, fearing Suzuri might be seeking revenge for that time. To be honest, now that Suzuri had also mastered the ways of a servant, a conflict would undoubtedly be a close fight, even if she didn’t lose. With the conditions biased in Suzuri’s favor, it would be a disadvantageous match. Yet, Suzuri, holding her with a gentle, non-aggressive strength, didn’t interfere with her intricate mark, offering only a look of concern.
”Ugh, I’m sorry, Suzuri…” she murmured.
”Please don’t worry about it. As a servant, this sort of thing is unavoidable,” she responded.
She sighed in relief, feeling ashamed for immediately suspecting her motives. She mentally chastised herself, realizing she must have become weak-willed due to the crucial task ahead. After taking several deep breaths, committing the softness of her younger sister to memory, she put strength back into her limp legs and gently placed her hand on the arm that supported her.
”Yeah, thank you. …Mmm, Suzuri, you’re such a good girl. If Yuuri weren’t here, and we were the opposite genders, I would definitely make you my lover,” she confessed in a soft voice.
”Fufu. I feel the same, Sister,” she smiled sweetly.
She carefully supported her as she pulled away from their embrace. Though a future where she would become Suzuri’s lover would never happen without Yuuri’s existence, her younger sister kindly responded with a smile to her playful comment, born of temporary confusion. It was probably because of a similarity in their ancestors from the previous life, but the truth was for the Gods alone to know.
Even if they hadn’t met as different genders, they already had the chance to intertwine their bodies and hearts at Yuuri’s side. To preserve that happiness, she felt compelled to counsel her Master. As she reaffirmed her duty in her heart, her posture straightened miraculously.
Relieved by her change, Suzuri bowed, gathered the dishes in both hands, and vanished like the wind toward the back of the kitchen.
”Haa. This unwanted burden I willingly took on is proving to be quite the heavy labor, no matter how much purpose I feel,” she chuckled self-deprecatingly.
Smiling despite her self-mockery, she turned toward the thick, soundproof door. She stood before the Master’s bedroom, grasping the handle, and offered a final, heartfelt prayer to the Goddess Shelm.
—Please, please don’t let the room be completely covered in those supportive elements.
Taking a deep breath, she turned the handle, pulled the heavy door open, and peered inside.
”Nothing looks strange?” she murmured.
The scent was faint, thanks to the ventilation, not strong enough to induce the intense arousal she’d felt when she burst in earlier. Relieved that she hadn’t found the worst-case scenario she’d imagined, she cautiously stepped inside. She continued to glance around, ensuring no elements would ambush her from the shadows, and carefully approached the bed, the Master’s throne. After confirming there wasn’t a single wrinkle in the sheet, she let out the huge breath she’d been holding in a rush.
”——Haaaah… The Master hasn’t returned. The curfew has been extended. I suppose I’ll have to thoroughly engage him when he finally gets back, then,” she sighed, speaking to the empty room.
She wondered why she had been so afraid of Yuuri. The lovable man, her friend and Master, might be tyrannical when it came to their connection, but he was certainly not unreasonable. She could easily imagine him trying his best to offer a convincing explanation, even if he was late.
The moment she realized this, the heavy atmosphere she’d been feeling completely vanished, as if a thick fog had lifted. She turned to walk toward the door, intending to help Suzuri with the cleanup, when she caught sight of something where it shouldn’t have been.
”Wait, why is this here?” she gasped.
It was carelessly placed beyond the rumpled covers, exactly where it couldn’t be seen. When she approached and picked it up, she confirmed it was definitely one of the artifacts brought back from the Individual Domain. It was, without a doubt, the tablet she had seen the supportive element pilfer right in front of her eyes just a little while ago.

Summary:
Marina’s growing anxiety over Yuuri’s absence reaches a boiling point, leading to a surprising moment of intense intimacy with her sister-figure, Suzuri. As the sensual tension breaks, Marina is resolved to confront the Master about his broken promise and his strange, evolving tentacle skill. Her servant pride and competitive spirit flare up, determined not to be outdone by her sister. Yet, upon entering the Master’s empty room, the discovery of a stolen, highly desired artifact—the tablet—proves Yuuri is playing a far more complex and dangerous game than she first imagined, fueling the mystery of his bizarre tentacle power and the servant’s rivalry for his devotion.
—
Character Insight:
Marina’s inner conflict is a central theme: she is torn between her love for Yuuri and her desperate need for control and status, especially against Suzuri. Her willingness to fight for her servant seniority is not just ambition—it’s fear of being emotionally abandoned, which is only exacerbated by her intense arousal when provoked by either the Master’s lingering scent or her sister’s sudden, passionate comfort. Her strict, formal facade is fragile, easily shattered by either sexual or emotional vulnerability, highlighting her deep insecurity about her place in the harem.
—
Behind the Scene:
The chapter’s emotional beat centers on Marina’s frustration turning into an intimate, sensual experience with Suzuri, showcasing the complex, non-monogamous relationships within the workshop. Yuuri’s continued absence and the mystery of the stolen tablet and his tentacle skill serve as the inciting incidents, driving Marina’s actions. The sudden appearance of the tablet in the bedroom suggests his individual domain is far more connected to the physical world—and his bedroom—than the servants currently realize, setting the stage for a confrontation.
