Chapter 181 Designated Choice The Moment of a Goddess’s Fall
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
Shelm’s body, now tossed aside without strength, exuded a great, motherly openness. Her gently sloping belly and her palms, splayed open in utter exhaustion, were proof of her surrender, an offering of defenselessness to the conqueror.
Yuuri even tried a light pinch, scraping his fingernail across a sensitive spot that was trembling and shaking in sync with the shivers of her shoulder, but she only frowned slightly, her breath catching in her throat with a nasal sigh.
Even then, she didn’t try to wiggle her hips wantonly, seeking pleasure. She showed her submission, yet she strongly displayed the will she still held inside.
”…A proposal, you say? What could you possibly have to say, now that you’re on the verge of falling to become a servant?” Yuuri asked.
Shelm, who was essentially a fish on a cutting board, appeared to have no move left to make. Yet, if she was still trying to negotiate through the pain of overwhelming pleasure, Yuuri felt her words were worth listening to.
”Yes…♡ I really can’t stop myself from being made Yuuri-kun’s wife by my own power anymore! ♡ B-But… if Yuuri-kun chooses Ai over me…♡ And if Ai accepts it…♡ Then I haven’t broken my own word! ♡♡”
”…That’s a desperate ploy,” Yuuri replied.
Yuuri hadn’t expected a proposal from Shelm, now stripped of her God’s thinking ability, that would make him snap his fingers in agreement. But the assertion she whispered, carefully keeping her voice from breaking with pleasure, was far too selfish.
He could understand the motive: in a near-hopeless situation, she was trying to cling to a glimmer of hope and his mercy. But if there’s no benefit for the one accepting the terms, then it’s not even a negotiation, is it?
Because of that, Yuuri was about to cut the conversation short and thrust his hips one last time to finish the job. But then, unexpectedly, he was stopped by Ai herself—the one who should have wanted Shelm defeated.
”Elder Brother, please wait a moment longer.”
”…If you say so,” Yuuri conceded.
Whether it was the power of a god or something else, Yuuri’s body was now as immobile as a statue. Yet, sadly, he had already grown used to having his physical freedom taken away by phenomena beyond human comprehension.
Was it because he trusted that this people-loving goddess wouldn’t cause any more harm?
Or was it the resignation that it was pointless to defy such immense power? Either way, if a goddess wielding such power said, “just a moment,” then Ai must find some value in Shelm’s struggle.
Reconsidering, Yuuri lowered his gaze once more.
Shelm, relieved to be hanging on by a thread, shuddered but kept her rainbow-shimmering eyes fixed on his. She slowly took a breath, then began the continuation of her proposal.
”Certainly, I won’t deny that it’s a desperate ploy! ♡ But I want you to really think about it! ♡ Between Ai and me, who do you think is more suitable to be Yuuri-kun’s wife? ♡ I-It’s not bragging, but I understand that I have an arrogant personality! ♡ So, if you were to take someone like me as a wife, Yuuri-kun would definitely have a bad time! ♡♡”
”Hmph. I know that much. But what I… what I’m concerned about isn’t that. If you can’t even understand that, all I can do is make you my servant and shove you into the tentacle room,” Yuuri warned.
Even if Ai allowed it, the problem wasn’t which one Yuuri wanted to choose. The important part was the opposite: which one was worse to leave on the divine throne?
If she tried to move the conversation along without addressing that, Yuuri would have to make her spend her time in a prison of flesh until Ai’s imposed sentence was complete, without allowing her any interaction with the other servants.
Threatening her with those words, he forced the tentacle-like flesh rod he had summoned into her splayed hands. Shelm twisted her lips, but to show sincerity, she tightly intertwined her fingers with the warm tentacle.
”I-I understand! ♡ I will absolutely never retaliate against Ai! ♡♡ A-And of course, I won’t take my frustration out on Yuuri-kun or the wives, or anyone else! ♡ I swear by my divine name, I’ll keep that promise! ♡♡”
”Hmph, finally, you’ve put forward the minimum necessary condition. But that only means you’ll promise not to cause trouble for others. There’s no benefit for us in that, you know. If you want me to undo this self-imposed constraint, at least grant me something useful for the future,” Yuuri demanded.
To be honest, Yuuri was worried that demanding something so brazenly from a god might cross an unforgivable line. But if he backed down after only bringing a negative to zero, he would be admitting that humans were beneath the gods.
Of course, that was a clear fact in terms of ability, but if he didn’t push now, he was sure to suffer terribly in a separate incident once the heat died down. That’s why he thought that drawing out even a small concession now might serve as a starting point to counter her future tyranny.
As Yuuri flashed a few more tentacles at her, Shelm, who must despise the slimy flesh vine, turned pale in her beautiful, fair face and was nearly in tears. Then, as she swam her rainbow eyes around, trying to recall what she could offer, she hurriedly began to mumble something.
”Aw… I-I’ll offer my sweet pleasure spot…♡ But that’s already been imposed as a duty for the Apostle! W-Well, I’ve already granted too many favors to allow for the labyrinth’s capture! …Ah! W-Wait, Yuuri-kun! Um, umm…♡ Ugh, I have no choice now! F-From now on, within the limits of not diminishing my power, or making anyone unhappy, or, um, having a negative impact on the world’s situation, I’ll do anything you say! ♡ S-So please, ask Ai to become your bride! ♡♡”
”H-Hold on, anything is too much!…! You could have said something like ‘I won’t cause trouble anymore’ in many different ways!” Yuuri exclaimed.
Shelm was clearly running out of options; her desperate words made Yuuri panic. If a goddess of Shelm’s caliber promised “anything” without specifying the purpose, she could truly grant anything.
The potential impact would be immeasurable. Yuuri cautiously glanced at Ai, and even her usual gentle smile seemed somewhat strained.
”Ehehe! ♡ Is that what Yuuri-kun wishes for? ♡”
”Ugh. That… no, let me think about this properly,” Yuuri said.
In truth, Yuuri wanted to agree right then and there. But the dreadful consequences of making an unspecific demand were obvious, and rushing to a conclusion while being forcibly coupled like this was the perfect way to suffer Shelm’s same fate.
This has to be consumed quickly with something utterly trivial, or I’m absolutely going to be dragged into trouble.
Yuuri gave a knowing glance, and the rigid Ai seemed to accept his reasoning for the time being. Furthermore, Shelm also seemed to think the tide had turned significantly in her favor because of the concession she had just offered.
Thanks to the substantial concession Yuuri had extracted, the immediate threat of this spiteful goddess returning to the Chief Divinity position was gone.
But the situation that started with a misunderstanding between two goddesses was still far from being resolved. Finding a safe resolution in this tight spot, one that wouldn’t leave a trail of bitterness, was certainly not easy.
”…By the way, something has been bothering me. If I stop now, will Ai be breaking her word?” Yuuri asked.
In this situation, the next thing Yuuri had to confirm was whether Ai was willing to back down. Just as he held Shelm’s life and death in his hands, Ai, the only one who could wield the power of the one true God right now, held all the decision-making authority.
Having gone this far, Ai wouldn’t easily give up this once-in-a-lifetime chance. To persuade her, Yuuri needed to confirm beforehand that Ai wasn’t bound by her own words.
”Do not worry, Elder Brother. This is the result of Shelm’s previous intention of ‘it shall be so’¹. I am merely turning the gears as predetermined, so I can take other measures depending on Elder Brother’s decision.”
”I-I see. That’s a relief…” Yuuri replied.
What Yuuri had confirmed was that this was not a situation where either of them was forced to proceed.
That meant there was a slight possibility for the will of a humble human to intervene in this troublesome affair. His opponents were two terrifying goddesses, but if he was going to regret it later, he would rather it be from his own choice than from passively submitting.
”—Then, I want to be the one to decide,” Yuuri declared.
Thus, Yuuri put his will into it, looking back and forth between the two pairs of rainbow eyes. The response he got back was a shimmer deep within their equally burning gazes.
One of them looked clearly relieved, the other had a plastered-on smile but didn’t move an inch. However, both of them made no objection to obeying a human’s decision, and Yuuri sensed an atmosphere of anticipation for the role he was about to play in breaking their deadlock.
”Yes! ♡ That’s not something to fret over! ♡ Either way, to conquer the labyrinth, one of us—Ai’s or our human bodies—is necessary. So, you should choose the one you prefer, Yuuri-kun! ♡”
”…I understand. As Elder Brother wishes. It is an excellent opportunity to correct Shelm, but the chance to be with Elder Brother forever is also hard to pass up… So, please, Elder Brother, you decide.”
And so, the answers came back, showing agreement despite the difference in their emotional temperature.
Shelm’s voice was bright because, having been on the verge of being forcibly and unwillingly made a servant, she had managed to rally back to an even footing through this negotiation. As for Ai, despite having Shelm cornered, she seemed to have refrained from pushing her own debt onto her brother.
”Alright, you two. Are you really sure you want me to be the one to decide?” Yuuri pressed.
”Yes! ♡ Hurry, choose Ai! ♡ I can’t hold out much longer! ♡♡”
”Yes. As my Elder Brother commands.”
Swallowing the words of the two goddesses, Yuuri pressed them one last time.
It was to impose a renewed restriction on the gods, who couldn’t break their own word. However, both of them, confident in the answer, ingrained their consent onto their very souls without hesitation.
”—Ai. I’m sorry,” Yuuri said.
Yuuri tossed those words to his younger goddess sister, who was sitting politely beside their coupling, hands resting on her legs and back straight.
At the same moment, Shelm, pinned beneath him, let out a huge sigh of relief. Feeling her breath lightly graze his face, Yuuri peered into Ai’s silent eyes.
The deep feeling he had held onto until this very moment was poured into that look.
Ai’s face clouded slightly at the irreverent will of a human speaking to a god. But she never uttered a word, instead giving a small nod and slicing the air horizontally with a raised fingertip.
The withdrawal—.
”Nnn! Ahhh! Ahhhhhh! ♡♡”
[sound]. The connection, now slick with warmth, slowly emerged from the tight hold.
The traces were already diluted by the overflowing essence, and Yuuri couldn’t make out its color.
Even as the connection was being pulled out, the opening tightened persistently, against Shelm’s own will, trying not to let it get away. Her inner walls were scraped by the tip, and even as release was imminent, an intricate magical formation began to construct itself in Shelm’s lower abdomen through pure magic.
”Aah! Guh, Nghhh! ♡♡ Yu-Yuuri-kun! Slower! This—this feels too good, I’m going to climax! ♡♡”
”You’re acting as if you don’t want my connection to come out. If you want it out quickly, loosen up,” Yuuri said.
Yuuri wasn’t deliberately trying to make Shelm feel more pleasure at this point. But for the area, which had grown accustomed to the connection, it couldn’t tolerate the absence of the form that had changed its shape.
Gently declining her passionate attempt to hold him in, Yuuri stopped, leaving just the tip at the entrance. Shelm, who had already reached her limit at that point, also tried to regain her breath by gulping air now that the sensation of rubbing the inside had been cut off.
After a moment, Shelm, having made up her mind, looked at Yuuri with tear-filled eyes.
In response to her pleading look, he gave a small nod, then lifted his hips again and grabbed her statuelike, supple waist with both hands. He gazed at the beautiful face of the goddess, who was celebrating her liberation, and following the guidance of her warmth, pushed the connection back into the deepest part!—
”Hweh! ♡♡ Oh! Nnghhoooohhh! ♡♡♡”
The moment the tip pressed against the depths, Dojun, Shelm’s body trembled with an even greater intensity. Simultaneously, the warmth, which had been shaped to the form of the connection, proved its existence by clinging tightly to it as if welcoming its master’s return.
Shelm’s rainbow eyes widened as if she couldn’t believe this natural conclusion, but her beautiful eyes couldn’t focus. Instantly losing focus due to the overflowing tears, her eyes rolled back, and her twisted mouth was pulled wide open.
”W-Why?! ♡♡”
Her slender, flexible limbs began to twitch and convulse as if remembering something. Matching the vibrations, her large bosom shook violently, and Shelm repeatedly shook her head, trying to deny what was about to happen.
But as a natural consequence, a human woman could not win against the connection that had been consecrated. She tried to arch her body up and escape the prediction of the climax that was rising from the pit of her stomach, but the moment the pleasure that raced up her spine reached her brain, she arched her body back even harder and violently squeezed the warmth.
”Eee! Igg! Igg-igg-igg! No! I can’t! Igg-igg! Igg-uuuh! Bastard! Yuuri-kun, you idiot! ♡♡♡”
That curse was because she knew the destruction that lay beyond the climax. The climax induced by the consecrated connection was nothing less than the approval of her servant-ification.
Her healthy body, trembling with pleasure, began cellular-level transformation, invaded by the magic of malice.
That wave, accompanied by an even greater climax and every sensation of happiness, spread from her core throughout her entire body. Finally, it invaded the very brain that housed the goddess’s consciousness, and her beautiful face, which had been twisted in fear, morphed into a pitiful smile, devouring the pleasure.
”Igg! Hee! Heeheehee! ♡♡ The connection is amazing! ♡♡ I-I didn’t know anything like this! Ah! Ngh-ah! Ah—! Ah—! Ahhhh! ♡♡”
Had the modest Shelm truly tasted real pleasure by only coupling with human lovers before?
Of course, she had never before placed her sacred divine body under the control of an evil spell. If that was the case, then this moment of being pinned down and going wild by a tiny human was the first time this long-lived goddess had ever experienced the pleasure of submission.
To prove it, the inside of her warmth, which had been tightly clinging as if desperate, suddenly relaxed and began to softly writhe. It contracted repeatedly as if throwing away her goddess’s dignity as inappropriate and showing reverence to her master’s connection as a mere female.
Finally, she arched her hips zealously to imprint even more pleasure onto the connection. The goddess, whose malicious will was now imprisoned within the servant’s body, wept tears endlessly from her eyes, which stared blankly into the void, lamenting her despair, or perhaps rejoicing at her liberation from a long burden.

On her lower abdomen, the Mark of Submission gleamed with a golden light. The proof that she was no longer a special existence, but merely one of the many women of a tiny human, now shone proudly with its light.

Summary:
Yuuri faces a terrible choice between two goddesses, Shelm and Ai, under extreme duress. Shelm tries to negotiate her way out of ‘servant-ification’ by offering an almost too-powerful concession—to do anything within limits—forcing Yuuri to decide which goddess will be his ‘bride’ and which will be his ‘servant.’ Yuuri ultimately chooses to spare Ai and instead returns to Shelm to complete the process, resulting in her utterly pleasurable, tearful, and mind-breaking submission and transformation into a loyal servant marked by a golden light.
—
Character Insight:
Shelm, despite her arrogance, is terrified of losing her freedom but finds an unexpected, overwhelming pleasure in her complete submission, suggesting her true self might crave a master. Yuuri demonstrates unexpected strategic depth by not taking the ‘anything’ offer immediately and by using the choice to minimize future divine conflict, prioritizing his own safety and that of his family over immediate gratification. Ai remains composed, showcasing her strategic mindset and deep trust in Yuuri’s ultimate decision, even at the cost of her own opportunity.
—
Behind the Scene:
The ‘anything’ concession Shelm offered is a massive development, giving Yuuri a powerful, albeit dangerous, future tool to influence the world. The fact that the ultimate decision rested on Yuuri, a human, highlights the power dynamic shift that has occurred against the gods. The golden light of the Mark of Submission is the visible sign that the immediate threat from Shelm’s former spiteful divinity is neutralized, at least for now.

T/L:
¹ ‘So-u are kashi’ (そうあれかし) is a phrase often used in Japanese fantasy and divine contexts. It translates roughly to ‘Let it be so,’ or ‘May it be so,’ and carries a strong sense of divine decree or the fulfillment of a deeply held desire/oath. It implies that the outcome was something Shelm had implicitly or explicitly wished for at some point, making her current situation a consequence of her own will. ↩
Notes:
• Shelm – Wicked Goddess, reincarnated Yuuri, manipulative, wants him to use his power.
• Ai – The recently-formed sub-divinity/ego who manages the world’s Skills. Her sudden, intense burst of divine will (‘ki’) almost bleached Yuuri’s wicked thoughts. Called Yuuri ‘Elder Brother’ and declared genuine affection and trust based on his efficiency with her Skills.
