Chapter 59 The Sealed Chamber

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

The ceremony went off without a hitch. Yuuri had always planned to take full responsibility for all the women who had become his servants—bound companions through their pact—but Shelm’s idea of a wedding before the gods had felt like little more than a way to even things out after Suzuri had jumped ahead. Yet standing there in front of them, all dressed up and radiant, he couldn’t help but feel ashamed for treating the vow of a lifetime so lightly.

The bonds he’d built with them were real, rooted in mutual affection, but it was also true that lust and calculation had played big parts. Turning that into a proper celebration, facing them with nothing but trust and love, drove home the weight of holding someone else’s life in his hands. It wasn’t something he could brush off anymore.

”The stars are beautiful tonight,” Ashley said softly.

The night sky sparkled with countless lights, rivaling even the domain where Shelm held court. But these weren’t random constellations from some unknown place. After ten years since his reincarnation, the stars floating above the capital’s skyline screamed that this was another world. And they were the same ones he’d gazed at with Ashley back in their hometown.

”Glad you like them,” Shelm replied with a grin. “Though they’re fake, of course. Still, I pride myself on getting every detail right.”

”Hehe, they match my memories exactly, desuwa,” Ashley said. “I haven’t looked up at the night sky in so long. I’m truly grateful for your thoughtfulness.”

The feast was in full swing when Yuuri tried to slip away to the bedroom with his three brides. But things didn’t end there, unfortunately. She’d mentioned a wedding gift, after all.

A bit of wine had loosened him up, and in his good mood, he’d followed the scheming goddess without a second thought. That was his mistake. The moment they stepped into the chapel, the entrance sealed shut. Next thing he knew, he and Ashley were alone on a balcony in some unfamiliar mansion, sinking into comfortable armchairs.

”Hearing that makes all the effort I put into this section worthwhile,” Shelm said, puffing out her chest happily. She looked far cuter like this than when she was plotting mischief. But where had Marina and Suzuri gone? They’d been right there in the chapel. When he asked, her face lit up with that familiar wicked smile again.

”Don’t worry,” she assured him. “I’ve split them into separate rooms, waiting for you to show up. Though right now, their time is frozen.”

”Is that… safe?” Ashley asked, her brow furrowing slightly.

It sounded like She’d locked Marina and the others in some kind of time prison. The concern made sense, but from what Yuuri knew of the Familial Workshop—a personal domain skill he’d been using—the outside world stopping time never caused any harm. It probably wasn’t truly halting external time; more like temporarily stepping out of its flow.

If that was the case, then this space he’d been teleported—instantly relocated—to with Ashley was like a private chamber where they could spend as much time as they wanted together.

”So if I go to Marina’s room, I’ll share time with her there,” Yuuri said, piecing it together, “but for you, Ashley, it’ll feel like I—and the others—come right back?”

”Exactly,” Shelm chuckled. “You’re quick when it comes to naughty stuff. Think of it as layering time. I want you to get used to stepping away from the world’s flow through the Workshop.”

She’d added this new feature to the skill and called it a wedding gift, but that sly expression screamed hidden motives.

”Part of your big plan, huh?” Yuuri said. “I can handle the skill fine, but it doesn’t feel like it’s changing me or anything. Whatever. No point refusing now. I’ll take it gladly.”

”If you say it’s okay, Yuuri, then I’ll go along with it,” Ashley added. “Suzuri-san came back just fine after we used the Workshop before, after all.”

”That’s right,” Shelm said. “No harm in it, so use it all you want. I officially recognize you as husband and wife now, so confirming your feelings while you… connect is important.”

That hit on a real issue they’d been facing lately. With only one place to sleep and make love, they always had an audience. Their trust and affection made it work somehow, but the excuse of gaining skills often took over. Ashley held back out of consideration for the others, Marina took charge, and Suzuri shied away.

In that mess, Shelm giving them private spaces to truly open up to each other was a godsend.

”Thanks, Shelm,” Yuuri said. “To make the most of your kindness, teach me how it works. Do I just pray in the chapel to come here every time?”

”Oh, come on, don’t underestimate me,” she teased. “I wouldn’t fall for the same trick twice. I forced it this time, but normally, you and a servant hold hands in front of my altar and pray… Nah, that’s boring. Let’s make it a kiss instead.”

Yuuri started to retort at her sudden change, but she’d already updated it. She stuck out her tongue playfully and continued without missing a beat.

”You need to confirm your feelings to travel to your love nest! The spot you teleport to changes each time. Whatever you or the servant wants most in that moment will appear.”

”Ah, so that’s why we’re here♡” Ashley said, her cheeks flushing.

Yuuri asked what she meant. She glanced around shyly, then leaned in and whispered in his ear.

”This mansion is the Alegria estate. And this balcony… it’s from my room…♡”

He whipped around to stare at the dimly lit interior, glowing faintly from magic lamps, then back to Ashley’s face. Before reuniting in the capital, all his childhood memories with her were from visits to their hometown. He’d left to make his way in the world and cut ties with any lingering feelings for the count’s daughter. No way he’d detour to tour the Alegria estate. He’d assumed this was just some fake backdrop Shelm whipped up for atmosphere.

He fully intended to take responsibility for Ashley’s life now that their fates were entwined, but holed up in the labyrinth, that reality felt distant except with her. Being invited—even to a copy—of her family home by Ashley herself stirred a mix of embarrassment, joy, and a sudden urge to stand taller. His mind spun.

”Is that really okay?” he asked.

”Yes♡ I plan to invite you to my real room someday, but tonight, please love me in this pretend one♡”

Her pure invitation to the place closest to her heart made him want to scoop her up and carry her to bed right then. But with the grinning goddess watching, and a few more questions left, he held back.

”Yep, yep,” Shelm said. “You two getting along is great. About the size of this domain, though—sorry, I couldn’t make it too big. It’s just an add-on to the Familial Workshop. You can move freely inside the mansion, but outside the garden is off-limits to save power.”

”If it’s just for the vibe, that makes sense,” Yuuri replied. “I’m grateful you put this much detail in anyway. So I get the place, but how do we leave?”

They’d been teleported here from the chapel, and he didn’t see any obvious exit. He worried she’d make him hunt for it inside, but that fear was unfounded.

”Meet the conditions, and a ‘gate’ appears,” she explained. “Touch the boundary, and you’re back in the chapel. Unlike labyrinth gates, you don’t dive through—just be careful.”

”Got it. Like the Workshop exit. Makes sense you can’t link directly with time control.”

”Shelm-sama, what exactly are the conditions?” Ashley asked. “Does the gate vanish if we don’t go through right away, or something?”

This new addition ran even deeper into the Familial Workshop than before. Yuuri knew better than to skip the details—he’d regret it later if he did. He and Ashley fired off questions one after another. When Shelm caught Ashley’s last one, she floated closer with that wicked grin plastered across her face.

”Once the gate shows up, you can leave anytime,” she explained. “But don’t stay too long—this isn’t built for living. The gate itself just accepts your wish to exit, so no worries about anyone peeking from the chapel. After all, the condition to make it appear is the servant gaining a new skill♡”

”Oh♡ So once we’re inside, I can’t leave without your mercy, Yuuri♡” Ashley breathed.

Shelm traced a finger along Ashley’s lower belly, shooting her a sultry glance. Ashley shivered, her emerald eyes glistening with raw desire. Yuuri met their hungry stares without flinching. He’d make sure Ashley learned later who the real predator was here. For now, he kept his cool—only because that meddling goddess was still in the way, and she clearly hadn’t caught on.

”Hehe, you two are fired up—makes this goddess happy♡ That’s the end of the explanation for the ‘room you can’t leave without gaining a skill’♡”

Yuuri brushed off her offer for more questions and shooed her away. The goddess pouted a little at the cold shoulder, but she seemed pleased enough with how the newlyweds were already at their limit. With a quick blessing of good fortune, she vanished into thin air.

 ”Finally gone,” Yuuri muttered.

”Come on♡ You shouldn’t say that, Yuuri♡” Ashley scolded gently. “She worked hard for us♡”

With the obstacle gone, the desire he’d been holding back surged through him. Even Ashley’s soft rebuke sounded like an invitation for punishment now.

He stood from the armchair and pulled her close by her slender waist as she rose too.

”Yuuri♡ During the ceremony, I’ve been wet the whole time, holding it in♡”

”If Shelm hadn’t been there, I might’ve pounced on all of you right then.”

Ashley’s bold confession caught him off guard, but it didn’t repel him—not when she was the only one who could handle the lust the skills had amplified in him. He admitted the same, confessing how he’d been fighting his own beastly urges behind a mask of restraint.

 ”Ah♡ Yuuri, I can’t wait anymore♡”

”Me neither. I’ll overwrite all the time you spent without me with our bodies joined.”

This was a copy of the Alegria estate, but it held Ashley’s memories from childhood until she left for the capital. Here, in the place packed with her past, they were about to give in to passion.

His once-pure childhood friend was offering her innocent self to a man consumed by desire. From now on, every time she remembered her room, she’d see herself lost in ecstasy everywhere in it.

He’d make that happen tonight. If she thought she’d be gently embraced on the bed like a proper lady, he’d tease that misconception until it broke. He’d show her just how obsessed her man was with her.

 ”Haa, mm, nmu♡”

No more ceremonial kisses like at the altar.

He yanked her waist tighter, pressing his throbbing heat against her lower belly where the crotch tattoo—the pact mark—glowed faintly under her dress. His hands kneaded her full breasts over the pure white fabric. When she moaned, he claimed her mouth, sucking her offered tongue deep inside.

”Hyuu, rii♡ Faa, ah, nmu, faaa♡♡”

”Hmph… weird. Maybe it’s because Shelm dragged us out here, but I feel overflowing with power right now. You’ve been handling all three of us before, but tonight, you’re taking it all from me alone.”

Unlike when they’d first unlocked the Workshop or Suzuri’s first night, no one was here to help Ashley recover. Realizing that now, his new wife trembled but bravely pressed her lips to his anyway.

He wanted to go easy on her for that resolve, hold back and love her long and slow—but honestly, he wasn’t sure he could control himself.

He broke the kiss, scooped her up in his arms while she held her dress hem, and had her open the door to her private room herself. He stepped into the secret garden he’d never thought he’d see.

”What time period is this copy from?” he asked.

”Huu♡ P-probably around when I left for the capital to serve the princess♡ I tidied up a bit…♡”

He was a little disappointed not to catch her off guard, but with the woman he loved most, he couldn’t help looking around. He kissed her flushed cheek once more, then strode to the neatly made bed, ready to mess it up completely.
