”…The shaking stopped, right? Hiyorin, Ruriruri, you guys okay?”
”…Nn, I’m fine,” Hiyori replied.
”I’m totally fine too! But man, an earthquake inside a dungeon? That’s super rare! I had no idea that could even happen!”
The three gyarus checked on one another, their eyes darting restlessly around the environment. Before long, the bright expressions they had started with began to darken, clouding over with a heavy unease.
”Hey, Maria… doesn’t the vibe in here feel, like, really off?” Ruri asked.
”Yeah, Ruriruri. I think so too… My skin is actually tingling.” Maria spoke up while stroking her lustrous, tanned skin with her palm. “The Dungeon Energy is getting way thicker. We should probably take shelter in that cave we saw earlier.”
Hiyori’s suggestion met no resistance. Maria and Ruri agreed immediately, and the three of them hurried into the cave they had flagged as a safe zone during their exploration.

”This is so bad… No matter how you look at it, the monsters outside have gotten insanely strong,” Maria groaned. “There were Elder Trents where the normal Trents used to be, and Black Anacondas in the Big Anaconda spots.”
”I mean, if a Black Anaconda Suit drops, we could basically live off the money for a while… but I guess this isn’t the time for that. Are we, like, totally screwed?” Ruri asked.
”Nn. If a Black Anaconda finds us… we’re dead,” Hiyori added.
Huddled inside the cave, the trio was gradually beginning to grasp the magnitude of the shift.
”This is that thing, right? A ‘Dungeon Revolution’¹?” Ruri asked.
”Yeah, Ruriruri. I’d heard the stories, but I can’t believe we actually got caught in one. It’s terrifying. Hey, Hiyorin… do you think we can get out of this dungeon on our own?”
”It’s impossible,” Hiyori said. “If this place has moved to Phase Three², it means we’re effectively on the fifth floor, the bottom layer. Even if we just run and don’t fight, we won’t make it out alive by ourselves.”
Maria and Ruri nodded grimly at the assessment. Giving up on any hope of a self-propelled escape, the gyaru trio decided to hunker down and wait for professional help from the Explorer Guild.

A full day had passed since they took refuge in the cave. Perhaps because the initial tension of the emergency had started to dull, the girls had returned to their usual, lively chatter.
”Hey, I’m bored. Can I just m**urbate?” Ruri asked. “I was totally planning on having s*x with my boyfriend as soon as we cleared the dungeon yesterday, so my body is, like, already geared up for it!”
”Stop it! Having to watch or hear Ruriruri get off is way too much for me!” Maria shot back with her usual look of disgust.
If they had been able to keep up this idle banter until the rescue team arrived, it might have remained a somewhat decent memory for them. Unfortunately, reality was not so kind. The girls’ lips suddenly snapped shut.
”…Hey, Maria… I’m getting a really, really bad feeling…” Ruri whispered.
”Ruriruri, what a coincidence. I’m sensing a total nightmare vibe, too…”
”Agreed,” Hiyori said. “We’re being targeted. Run!”
The three of them didn’t hesitate. They burst out of the cave and began to sprint at full speed. Chasing immediately after them was a colossal serpent covered in obsidian scales.
”The Black Anaconda is too fast! It’s way faster than a Big Anaconda!” Ruri screamed.
”Nn… we can’t outrun this,” Hiyori said.
”We have to fight! Maria, you’re up!”
”Roger that! Leave it to me! Intimidating Pressure³!” Maria shouted.
As the tank of the group, Maria stepped up to halt the beast’s progress. She activated her skill, but the Black Anaconda didn’t flinch. It wasn’t intimidated in the slightest. However, she did manage to pull its aggro, and the serpent’s lethal strikes began to rain down on her.
”Ugh! This is rough! Agh!” Maria cried.
Against a normal Big Anaconda, Maria could have parrying the blows with ease, but the Black Anaconda’s tail-swipes and snapping jaws were systematically shredding her defenses.
”Support incoming!” Hiyori unleashed a barrage of throwing attacks to distract the creature, but it was like pouring a cup of water on a forest fire. As Maria desperately held the line, bleeding from several small wounds, Ruri finally finished her incantation.
”Flame Bite⁴!” Ruri’s powerful fire magic slammed into the Black Anaconda, the flames tearing through the center of its massive coils. The snake was severed in two, its body thrashing violently on the ground.
”We did it! We won!!” Ruri cheered.
”Nn…”
Ruri and Hiyori let out sighs of relief, but Maria’s eyes widened. “Wait! It hasn’t turned into smoke yet! Get back!!!”
Despite being cut in half, the head of the Black Anaconda lunged at Ruri with terrifying speed. Maria threw herself forward, jumping between her friend and the snapping jaws.
The Black Anaconda’s jaws clamped down on Maria’s arm with a sickening crunch. With a wet thud, her arm was severed cleanly below the elbow. Blood began to spray from the stump.
”Maria! Are you okay!?” Ruri screamed.
”I’m definitely not okay, but… I’m fine!!!” Maria screamed back, kicking the serpent’s head away with everything she had.
While she was deathly pale from the blood loss, a Dungeon Explorer’s constitution is far more durable than an average human’s. They tried to regroup to finish the fight, but then they saw something truly hopeless.
”…No way… It’s regenerating?” Hiyori whispered.
New flesh sprouted rapidly from the Black Anaconda’s severed body. In seconds, it had returned to its original state. It immediately resumed its savage assault. From that point on, it was a massacre. With one arm gone and her movements slowed by shock, Maria could no longer protect the others.
”Kyaaa!” Hiyori was the first to go, swatted aside like a fly by the serpent’s heavy tail.
”Gah!” Ruri followed soon after, sent flying by a blunt-force strike from the snake’s head.
Finally, the Black Anaconda turned its full attention to the lone, crippled Maria. Faced with certain death, Maria could do nothing but close her eyes. (This is it… it’s over…) She braced herself for the sensation of the snake’s teeth tearing through her torso… but the pain never came.
”I… I barely made it in time. Are you alright, Higuchi-san?”
When Maria opened her eyes, the Black Anaconda was gone. In its place stood her “Prince.”
”No way… Why are you here…?” Maria stammered.

Summary:
Moving toward the exit becomes impossible as a ‘Dungeon Revolution’ transforms the ecosystem. The girls take shelter in a cave only to be hunted by a regenerating Black Anaconda. Maria suffers a traumatic amputation before a mysterious ‘Prince’ intervenes

A magic user capable of utilizing fire-based spells. She displays a blunt, casual personality, frequently discussing her boyfriend and personal desires.
• Maria – Blonde, tanned gyaru Maria Higuchi, nicknamed Boob Gal by male students, is a Four Heavenly King and member of the adventurer team Headlong into Gyaru. She wears tiger‑skin hot‑pants and a bikini top, has a very large chest, serves as the party’s tank, and shows high durability despite losing her lower left arm to a Black Anaconda.
• Higuchi – Maria Higuchi, a blonde, tanned gyaru with a very large chest, is one of the Four Heavenly Kings and is nicknamed “Boob Gal” by male students; the protagonist calls her Higuchi‑san.
