”Indeed, Kanade!” Sakurako-san said, her tone direct and confident, touched by a hint of regional warmth.
The ones answering my call were the five combat members of Resonant Melody: Mana, Minami-chan, Haruka-san, Maria-san, and Sakurako-san.
And as for what exactly was “finally time”… today, we were stepping into the dungeon to conquer the Phase Six level once and for all.
The preparations were complete. Assuming the Last Boss on the final floor was not some impossibly overpowered anomaly, we should be able to clear Phase Six without a hitch.

Whether that was intended by the Otherworlders or merely a design flaw, I could not say. If it had not been intentional, the difficulty of the Phase One dungeon might have been tuned to cause far more casualties.

Regardless of that backstory, the reality remained that this was the Phase Six dungeon we had to conquer.
I took the lead, with Mana, Minami-chan, Haruka-san, Maria-san, and Sakurako-san following close behind as we slowly began our descent down the stairs into Phase Six.
