Volume 3 Chapter 52
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
”Well then, this floor is basically a Dragon festival,” I said.
”Indeed,” Mana replied, her voice as calm and measured as ever. “I would not have even considered setting foot in here a little while ago.”
”Yeah, we can handle it now,” I said, glancing at my companions. “Though, Kanade-kun, I’ll have to leave the mass annihilation to you.”
What lay before us was the ninety-first floor of the Dungeon.
Not long ago, finding even a few Dragons on a floor was rare, but now the entire area swarmed with them, filling every direction with scales, claws, and wings. It was a terrifying zone where Dragons were as common as Goblins.
Naturally, that included Black Dragons and even stronger species, so it was definitely not a place where anyone could afford to let their guard down.
”I’ll thin out the numbers and deal with the dangerous high-tier ones first,” I said. “Once the density drops a bit, you two can jump in. I’ll keep both of you in sight the whole time, and if things get dangerous, I’ll step in. Otherwise, treat it as a good chance to level up.”
”Understood,” Mana replied. “We’ll leave it to you, Kanade-kun.”
”Yeah,” Sakurako agreed. “We’ll need those levels for what’s waiting ahead.”
With that settled, I stepped onto the ninety-first floor without hesitation.
The Dragons that packed the area immediately unleashed breath attacks, firing one after another without the slightest concern for whether they hit their own kind.
I ignored the barrage and charged straight through it, dropping a Dragon with every strike, kick, or punch. Each monster burst apart the instant I hit it, dissolving into smoke before it could even crash to the ground.
Dragons were fast despite their massive size, but with my Perception Ability and physical stats, they were little more than moving targets.
Their breath attacks could not even scratch me, so I continued charging through the horde while Dragons vanished one after another in my wake.
”That goes for Black Dragons too,” I muttered.
Even now, seeing a Dragon hundreds of times larger than me disappear from a single kick felt a little unreal, but that was simply the gap in power between a Black Dragon and me.
I cut down Red Dragons, Blue Dragons, Green Dragons, Brown Dragons, and every other high-tier species I came across.
About five minutes later, the number of Dragons had dropped dramatically, and Mana and Sakurako finally stepped onto the floor to join the battle.
Ordinary Dragons stood no chance against either of them.
It took a little time, but every Dragon they faced ended up beaten down head-on or sliced apart. Even Black Dragons could only put up a brief struggle before being overwhelmed in a one-on-one fight.
Since neither of them was in any real danger and they were steadily wearing down the stronger Dragons, I turned my attention to my own targets.
”First up, this one. The Golden Kaiser Dragon.”
Bathed in a divine golden glow, the Dragon looked every bit as powerful as its name suggested.
”…So, (Pressure Point)!!”1
If you were wondering which pressure point I had pressed, it definitely was not the Instant Death Pressure Point. That would have been a waste.
Naturally, I used the Drop Rate Increase Pressure Point.
”GRAAAAAAAOOOOHHH!!!”
The Golden Kaiser Dragon roared as though celebrating the sudden surge of power flowing through its body.
”Hup!”
A single punch turned it into smoke.
Instead of gold, it dropped a massive scale so black that it looked as though it could swallow light itself.
Like the Golden Raccoon, rare monsters from the Gold series often dropped black items when their drop rates were boosted.
Those Black Series items tended to have unusual effects, which was why I always tried to collect them whenever possible.
”Next up, that one. The Silver Metallic Dragon.”
Among a floor packed with absurdly huge Dragons, this one was the only creature small enough to fit in the palm of a hand.
For an ordinary explorer, however, it might have been the most troublesome Dragon on the entire floor.
It moved so quickly that most explorers could not even track it, and every hit it survived made it even faster. Combined with the high defense suggested by its metallic body, it quickly became impossible for normal opponents to keep up.
Of course, that speed meant nothing against five hundred layers of Perception Enhancement (Pressure Point), and its defense was equally useless against five hundred layers of Physical Augmentation (Pressure Point).
I caught up to the Silver Metallic Dragon with ease and erased it with a single blow.
”Quite a few of these could be a problem if they went after Mana and Sakurako, so I’d better keep moving.”
With that in mind, I continued hunting down the ten Super-tier Dragons scattered throughout the floor.
Eventually, only one remained.
”So, this is the last one,” I said.
”Yeah, I guess it is…” Sakurako replied.
”Looks like it,” Mana agreed.
For a floor that had started with an unbelievable number of Dragons, only a single ordinary one now stood before us.
Since Sakurako had already sliced it apart countless times, it was barely hanging on.
Finishing it off would clear the floor completely, but before doing that, we took a moment to switch some equipment and prepare for what came next.
There was a reason for that.
The ninety-first floor operated under a clearance requirement. Only after every Dragon had been defeated would the path to the next floor appear.
Once our preparations were complete, we finished off the last Dragon.
The next moment, we were teleported to the ninety-second floor.

Summary:
Kanade, Mana, and Sakurako navigate the 91st floor of a dungeon, which is flooded with various types of Dragons. Kanade uses his specialized pressure point techniques to systematically eliminate the monsters, allowing his companions to train. After clearing the floor of all high-tier and regular threats, the group prepares for the next level and teleports to the 92nd floor.
—
Trivia:
The dungeon floor requires total annihilation of all monsters to progress.
Rare monsters in the ‘Gold’ series have a unique quirk of dropping black items when the drop rate is boosted.
The Silver Metallic Dragon becomes faster with every hit taken.
Kanade’s pressure point techniques allow for specific statistical manipulation, such as drop rate and enhancement stacking.
