Chapter 34 An Alliance Bound in Blood and the Princess’s Resolve
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
My words left the elves paralyzed, frozen like stone statues.
In that stunned silence, the monster horde I summoned rushed into the Blanchefort lands below. It moved like a black tidal wave, tearing across the land. A low, thunderous roar shook the earth, then slowly faded away. The forest fell into an eerie quiet again.
Why did this one move defeat them so completely? The answer was in the region’s unique situation.
The sacred elven forest of ‘Sylvain’ stretched across the northern Asgard Kingdom. To the south lay the land of their old enemy, the Blanchefort Margrave. East of their border was a ‘spawn point’ — a dangerous place where endless monsters poured out from the demon realm. These beasts attacked both humans and elves, keeping a strange, violent balance between the two sides.
If either side tried to invade the other, they risked a monster attack destroying their rear guard. Going deep into enemy territory meant the worst result: total defeat, caught between the enemy army and the hungry horde.
Because of this, both sides had avoided large battles. They had a silent agreement not to interfere, so they didn’t make the monsters more angry.
Thanks to this weak balance, the elves, who were much weaker, had avoided total destruction. But no full-scale war didn’t mean peace. Small guerrilla fights still happened all the time. The princess’s recent kidnapping happened during one of these small attacks.
But now, the monster horde I set loose had broken that balance completely.
The Blanchefort Margrave’s army would be terribly weakened. For the elves, who had almost lost in recent years, this gave them the exact advantage and breathing room they needed.
But there was an even more important part to my plan.
I had used my own summoned monsters to attack human land.
To the elves, this one action was a sign of ‘trust’ that meant more than any words could say. Alliances are not made with sweet talk; they are sealed in blood. — [1]
A strong promise to stand with them — even if it meant hurting my own people. That was the truth I showed them with one move.

When we used Teleportation to return to the elven village, Elysion, the elven elder treated me with deep, respectful kindness. It was very different from how he acted before.
No more words were needed. The alliance was done.
I had gotten the powerful elven army as my allies.
But still, the losses were big.
Namely, the Blanchefort Margrave’s army. My original plan was to use them to fight against the royal family later…
Well, it couldn’t be helped. That man was small-minded enough to target my life because of an old grudge from an auction. There was no way I could truly trust him anyway.
Luckily, the Margrave still did not know that I sent the monster horde.
After all, to everyone in the world, I am just the ‘Zero-Magic Loser.’ A talentless insect hated for having no mana. No one would ever suspect me.
Depending on how things go, I might still be able to trick them into an alliance.
Soon after, not knowing what I was thinking, Ashraf just muttered, “Well then, I will take my leave,” and disappeared into the air.
That man truly answers to no one.
In the end, I used Teleportation to return to the theater’s underground basement. I brought Sylphie and — for some strange reason — Kyle with me.
The only reason Kyle was with us was because he threw a huge fit when I was about to leave. He stubbornly insisted, “Until I see Lady Lyphia is safe with my own eyes, I cannot agree to any alliance! Take me too!!”
I really did not want to hold another man’s hand for teleportation. But his raw desperation wore me down. I had no choice, so I dragged him along to the theater.

When we got back to the theater, we told Princess Lyphia and the waiting elves everything that happened.
Namely, that I had made a formal alliance between myself and the elven race.
Hearing the news, the elves shouted with joy. Others let out deep, relieved sighs. Their faces finally relaxed as the heavy tension left them.
Just as the report ended and the room started to quiet down, it happened.
Princess Lyphia stood up gracefully. She stepped forward to face me directly. Her face was no longer the relieved one from moments ago.
Her features were serious. She held a heavy, deep determination. In her green eyes burned the light of a strong resolve.
”Xenos-dono.”
Her dignified voice cut through the silent room, ringing out clearly. There was not one bit of hesitation in her tone.
”We have not yet given proper payment for our rescue. So, as both a sign of thanks and an undeniable proof of our alliance —”
She paused. She took one deep breath.
In that short moment, the air in the room stretched very tight. Then, she fixed her beautiful green eyes right on me and spoke.
”I have decided that you shall have me.”
…Oh? Well now, that is a very bold offer. — [2]
Taking the elven princess as a concubine would surely lock the alliance in place. No, it would do more than that. It would be the perfect foundation to build an unbreakable bond between our groups.
This was a chance I could not have planned better myself.
There was no reason at all to refuse.
Behind me, the sound of Kyle sharply catching his breath echoed through the room. It sounded very loud in the sudden quiet.

Summary:
Unleashing a catastrophic horde of monsters into the human territory of the Blanchefort domain, Xenos shatters a long-standing geopolitical stalemate and secures a desperate alliance with the elven clan. Upon returning to the theater hideout, the tactical success gives way to an immediate shift in personal stakes as Princess Lyphia steps forward with absolute determination. The chapter closes on an intense moment of tension as the elven princess proposes giving herself completely to Xenos to bind their blood covenant, leaving the surrounding onlookers thoroughly stunned.
—
Trivia:
The demon realm borders both the human and elven domains through an volatile eastern spawn point that attacks both sides indiscriminately.
Xenos is universally underestimated and disregarded by major political factions because he is widely believed to be completely devoid of mana.
The Blanchefort Margrave holds a deep-seated murderous grudge against Xenos due to a previous conflict that occurred during a slave auction.
Princess Lyphia’s bold submission is a calculated political move intended to permanently cement the military alliance with Xenos’s hidden forces.
