Before me stood a weak, female pig.

Lilia smiled like a saint, gently patting Liliana’s head as she calmly admonished her. Apparently, Lilia had completely taken a liking to Liliana—as if she were some adorable little animal or something.

Liliana, being treated like a child, puffed out her cheeks in a sulk.
I left Lilia to dote on her, gave the princess’s round, cute little bottom a loving pat—smack!—and headed for the basement.

I tore off a piece of the freshly baked bread and brought it to Liliana’s small lips.
”…! I-I can eat by myself!”
”No. Your food will be given to you by me.”
Looking at this adorable little piglet, I was suddenly struck by a strong urge to feed her.
At first, she’d stubbornly turned her face away, refusing. But apparently she hadn’t eaten anything for dinner yet. Soon, her small stomach let out an embarrassed growl…
Flushing bright red with shame at the sound, she finally gave in and opened her little mouth hesitantly, beginning to eat what I offered, her face still flushed.

Truthfully, I didn’t know what to do with her.
Simply returning her to the Royal Palace was out of the question. I might be suspected again as the true culprit of the kidnapping.
Even if I proved my innocence by showing the video—then the other side would be in trouble dealing with the incident. They might try to silence me to cover up the royal family’s scandal.
As much as I’d threatened Liliana with that video, it was a double-edged sword that could hurt me too. I couldn’t use it carelessly.
It seemed I’d have to take responsibility and look after her in this mansion for the time being. I came to that conclusion.
