Chapter 59 The Saintess Vanishes and the Obsessive Bathhouse Trap
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
(Alys Magic Academy Girl’s Dorm)
My name is Karentisia Efyldis. I’m from the Elf tribe, and I’m one of Lala’s fellow students, you see.
Just a little while ago, I was having a wonderfully refreshing nude soak in the spring near Alys Magic Academy. But that’s when I witnessed something utterly shocking.
My dear classmate, Lala, has gone and followed some highly suspicious people. This is a seriously big deal. Those people Lala went with, their clothes—they were the formal white robes of the infamous Lax Empire! That country is utterly wicked. They chop down the trees in the Anclear Forest, the home of the Elves and Beastkin, without any permission from us, the people who have lived there since the olden times.
It’s simply impossible that an envoy from that sort of country would secretly contact Lala and take her away without some sinister motive afoot.
”Right then, Hollow. I’m going to chase after Lala and those dodgy sorts. If you happen upon our Loyal Dog (Shin), make sure you relay what I just told you, won’t you?”
”Wait! Hang on just a minute! What about our Alice Festival rehearsal? What about the intense ‘Princess’ role practice we had planned, the one with that idiot Shin in bed? There are only about two months left until the main event! We have to practice more, we just have to! Besides, who are these ‘suspicious people’ you’re even talking about, huh?” Hollow demanded, her voice rising to a frantic pitch.
Oh, honestly. As per usual, Hollow is stuck in her own self-centered world. So tiresome, really.
”It’s an emergency, so you’ll just have to deal with it. And the Alice Festival is still two months away, for goodness sake! If you’re so desperate to practice the lewd and intense kissing scene with that Loyal Dog (Shin) because you’re the Prince, then go ask Noël. I’ve a notion that girl has a bit of a thing for you; I think you two would get on famously.” Karentisia scoffed, her patience thinning.
”N-no way! I-I’m not—who said I like that idiot Shin? I hate him! I can’t stand that totally underdeveloped shota pretty-boy! And I’m certainly not going to ask Noël!” Hollow shrieked, her cheeks going bright red.
”Your face is scarlet, darling. Now, get back to the point: make sure you relay the situation to the Loyal Dog (Shin), understood? I’m quite finished here. I’m off. $ langletext{Wind Fairy (Sylphide)}rangle $.”
”Hey! Wait for me! Karentisia!” Hollow cried out, but I was already gone, leaving the Alys Magic Academy with my familiar, the Sylphide.
”Tell the Idiot Shin, she says… He can’t be told. He’s been trapped by those perverts (Alexia and Layla) and forced to bathe with them non-stop lately, so it’s impossible to even reach him…” Hollow muttered to herself, resigning to the task.
* * *
(Shin’s Exclusive Hidden Men’s Bathhouse)
”The bubbles are so foamy, no~! So much foam, standing up so tall, no~!” Alexia giggled, her voice oozing playful sensuality.
”Shin-sama’s… thing is standing up too, with the foam, desu~!” Layla chimed in with her dangerously sweet, faux-polite tone.
”(Dyu… fu…) Shin-shuma told me to run and hide in this Exclusive Hidden Men’s Bathhouse when my spirit and body reached their limit, so I ran for it… but how on earth did they figure out this location, dyu-fu?” The Decoy (who believes he is Shin and is trying to escape) wailed internally, his thoughts frantic and panicked.
”Fufufu, Shin-kun~ I already know all your secrets here at the academy, no~!” Alexia purred, her voice dripping with triumph.
”We knew you were building this secret bathhouse specifically to escape us recently, you know~ We see everything, desu yo~!” Layla confirmed, her tone sickeningly sweet.
”Oh, is that so? That’s… terrifying, dyu-fu…” the Decoy whimpered, utterly defeated.
Day after day, after day, after day—being forcibly dragged into the bath, having their bodies rubbed against mine, being covered in foam! I can’t endure it anymore, DYU-FUUUTT!
Seriously, what has been up with these girls since the olden days, dyu-fu? It feels like their obsession with Shin-shuma and their sense for finding him just gets sharper every single year, dyu-fu!
”You can never escape me, no yo~ My precious, beloved Shin~” Alexia sang, her voice a promise and a threat.
”I, too, am included in that sentiment, Alexia-sama~” Layla cooed, their voices intertwining.
”You can never escape us, Shin-kun~” They sang, their voices in perfect, unnerving unison.
”You can never escape us, Shin-sama~” They repeated, almost like a musical number!
Why are they singing in this musical-like cadence, dyu-fu? And despite claiming I can never escape, they don’t seem to realize that the real Shin-shuma has successfully escaped them yet again, dyu-fu… these two…
”Oh! Shin-kun. Look, the foam is getting all tall again, no yo!” Alexia exclaimed with a flirtatious wink.
”Well then, let’s continue where we left off, desu~ Since the foam is standing tall, let’s clean your entire body until it’s sparkling clean, Shin-sama~” Layla suggested with a predatory smile.
”D-Dyu, dyu-fu? No, I… I feel the best when I (Shin-shuma) lather up the foam myself, so I think I’m okay for now. Besides, I’m getting quite dizzy, and I should really get out of the bath…” the Decoy tried to stammer out an objection.
GRIP!
CRUNCH!
Hiiieee! Something of mine is being squeezed with the force of a vise! Dyu-FUTT!
”You can’t run away, Shin-kun~” Alexia warned, her smile fading to a terrifying certainty.
”That’s right, Shin-sama~ You get to monopolize two girls as cute as us, desu yo~ You really are the luckiest person alive, desu yo~” Layla added, her voice chillingly sweet.
Both of them… T-that’s a terrifyingly intense smile, dyu-fu! I don’t want to be with these scary people anymore, DYU-FOOOHH!
”…P-please, someone… Please help me, dyu-fu! Shin-shuma!”

Summary:
A sudden emergency rocks the Alys Magic Academy when Karentisia Efyldis, an Elf tribe student, witnesses her friend Lala taken by agents of the wicked Lax Empire! This sets off an urgent rescue mission into the wider fantasy world, but not before Hollow throws a fit over canceling the Alice Festival rehearsal—and her barely concealed crush on Shin.
Meanwhile, the real trouble continues as Shin’s body double is relentlessly pursued by the obsessive duo, Alexia and Layla, trapped in a secret bathhouse where their sensual, musical-like pursuit pushes the decoy to the brink of a complete nervous breakdown. The stakes are split between political danger and hilarious, inescapable sexual comedy!
—
Character Insight:
The true nature of Karentisia’s loyalty is revealed: she puts her friends before any personal comfort or academy duties, but her judgmental attitude towards others is a key part of her personality. Hollow’s internal conflict and denial about her affection for ‘Shin’ provides comic relief and highlights the main character’s magnetic (and often troublesome) appeal. The Decoy’s suffering contrasts sharply with the main plot, showing the cost of Shin’s popularity and the overwhelming obsession of the surrounding female cast.
—
Behind the Scene:
This chapter establishes the immediate political threat from the Lax Empire, giving Karentisia a compelling motivation rooted in her Elf heritage and the fate of the Anclear Forest. Critically, it uses the body double to maintain the high-stakes comedy of the bathhouse obsession plotline, allowing the real Shin to be free for the main adventure without interrupting the highly desired sensual-comedy beat. The mention of the Alice Festival grounds the story in the academy setting, providing a long-term goal for Hollow, even in the face of an ongoing crisis.
Notes:
• Lala – Delusional saint candidate from the Lax Empire who becomes fanatically devoted to Shin, founding a religion in his name and often speaking with the quirky suffix ‘~desuwa’
• Right – An upperclassman frustrated with ten-year-old Alexia’s presidency who initially supported Lilith (‘Lili-tan’) for the role. He represents the ‘cute girl fetish’ faction, rips up the magic paper in anger, and engages in heated debates with Left about the academy’s bizarre political landscape and student obsessions.
