”Class rep, I’m getting in your way.”
When I entered her room, the Class rep had a serious look on her face. She was sitting in a chair with her arms crossed, watching Touka, who was sleeping soundly on the bed.
”…Is it true that the president is involved?”
She asked in a hushed voice. It seemed hard for her to believe. The president isn’t the type to attack classmates without a good reason.
”I only saw Amaarai, but there was definitely hostility.”
”Could she be under some kind of control?”
”I talked to Kashiro too, and it seems she didn’t react to ‘Analysis Magic’ at all.”
Amaarai looked at me with caution, showing signs of worry. If she were being controlled by Demonkind, she wouldn’t have retreated after assessing the situation. She would have acted more aggressively.
”It’s true that Kaede fainted because of her own actions, but I can’t just ignore it when a friend is attacked.”
The Class rep looked like she was ready to grab a spear and rush out at any moment. Well, it’s understandable to be angry when a friend is targeted.
”I think there are reasons on their side too. Of course, they still need to face the consequences.”

The determination in her voice felt intense enough to make me think twice.
”Got it. But there’s also the advantage or disadvantage of Magic, so it depends on the situation. Getting too heated won’t help.”
Wait, does this mean I might have to face the president? I don’t think I drew the short straw, but… she must be strong. I hope she doesn’t have some overpowered Magic.

While Kashiro was explaining, president was creating a huge rock in the air. To avoid being crushed, it’s best to get closer. I thought that, but soon I was surrounded by rocks, and there was no way to escape.
This is way too much killing intent.
I swung my Battle Axe with all my strength at the rock in front of me and smashed it in one hit. President looked surprised, her cool expression changing in an instant. She gave me a sharp look, like she was on guard. She must be serious now.
She held a long sword in both hands, quietly waiting for me. It seemed like she trusted her own skills more than magic.
I was worried because the rocks blocked my view of the Class reps. They got split up pretty well. I need to finish this quickly and go help them.
I kicked the ground──Battle Axe and long sword clashed. president skillfully deflected my power and quickly countered with her blade. With a flurry of attacks, I faced her with all my strength. I roughly knocked her long sword away, aiming for the moment she lost her balance, but… she gracefully dodged my Battle Axe and immediately came at me with her long sword.
”You’re strong. I almost killed you.”
I quickly realized she wasn’t someone I could hold back against. If I kept fighting while holding back, I might end up getting killed.

The president’s gaze, once alert and wary, visibly softened as she stared at me. Her grip on her longsword loosened, and as I slowly approached and gently tapped her with my battle axe, she dropped her weapons.
