The slender Red Dragon gauntlets crossed each other, and with a snap of the fingers, the collapsing “island” was teleported outside the Demon King Castle.
Before Vali’s stunned eyes, Aki, holding Naruse Mio, casually passed through the invisible Barrier and appeared before him.
”How about it? Still want to fight?”

Vali suppressed his shock, his Mana surging rapidly.
The white dragon armor, edged in blue and adorned with a pair of light wings, grew more high-tech by the second as it enveloped him.
The White Dragon Armor, so similar to the crimson dragon armor, materialized before them.
Anyone with eyes could tell exactly what was going on in this battle, seeing those two humanoid dragon armors standing in midair.
The images of the Red Dragon Emperor and White Dragon Emperor were simply too deeply set in people’s minds, and the inheritors of the current Two Heavenly Dragons were both renowned figures.
Neither of them was a pureblood to begin with—one carried Sirzechs Lucifer’s bloodline, the other possessed a special ability, and both had achieved Demon King-class strength at a young age.
But now, looking at their auras—especially the Red Dragon Emperor, who was holding a red-haired Schoolgirl—the Spectators could only feel that even Demon King-class seemed like an underestimation.

Vali eyed Aki warily. Though he knew he was outmatched, his pride wouldn’t allow him to flee.
”You’ve been pretending all this time just to bait me out?”

Aki honestly didn’t want to waste time with Vali, but at the moment, he wasn’t sure how to resolve this either.
Aki recalled that Vali also had several quality girls around him, one of whom was a black-haired, straight-laced, expressionless loli.
But her screen time in the anime was pretty limited, so his memory was fuzzy.
More importantly, he didn’t actually dislike Vali, and he wasn’t ready to face the Infinite Dragon God Ophis directly.

Seeing the crimson hair flowing in the wind—Rias—and behind her, Himejima Akeno leading the rest of the Divine Research Society members, Vali’s confusion dissipated entirely.
Of course. If he could be here doing missions for Khaos Brigade, then Aki could naturally be working for the Gremory household… no, more accurately, he was doing it for Rias’s benefit.
Seeing Rias and the girls arrive, Aki had no choice but to press the attack and quickly send Vali packing so he could deal with more pressing matters.

Aki scoffed. Now that he’d surpassed him, there was no chance of a comeback.
Vali’s face darkened beneath his helmet. If not for his remaining shred of reason, he might have activated his Juggernaut Drive (Balance Breaker) right then and turned it into a fight to the death.
Ignoring the White Dragon Emperor frozen in midair, Aki deactivated Balance Breaker mode, pulled out his cell phone from his pocket, and checked the time.
Well, even without network, it still worked fine as a watch.
It was 14:32, the hottest time of day.
The Colosseum had opened around late morning, and by now, the sun was just beginning its westward descent.
Wave after wave of enemies and reinforcements had dragged what should have been a lightning-fast war out to several hours.
With Rias and the girls joining the fray, the Heroic Spirit army and Old Devils were thoroughly routed.
But the Child of Chaos was still rampaging.
All the Demon King-class fighters combined could hold it back and prevent it from advancing, but that was the extent of their capability.
Killing a God-tier being—even one weakened to its absolute limit—was simply beyond the reach of anyone below God-tier.
Aki thought for a moment. Since his strength was already exposed, he might as well go all the way.
Using the downfall of a long-established Outer God to announce his ascension to God-tier seemed… well, he didn’t quite know how to put it, but it was definitely cool.
Though the Child of Chaos was weak, its reputation was considerable—partly because of the Heroic Spirit army, and partly because being weak was why it had survived the wars of old.
The stronger Outer Gods had long been eliminated by the God-tier powerhouses of the Three Realms. Only weaklings like this one got ignored and merely sealed away.
Come to think of it, the Child of Chaos had lost all rationality—was that because being sealed had driven it stupid, or because Curia’s old bastards had tampered with it…
An Outer God capable of commanding armies couldn’t be unintelligent, even if not too bright.
Aki figured it was most likely the latter, but by now, none of that mattered anymore.
Teleporting directly in front of the Child of Chaos, Aki didn’t use Balance Breaker mode. Instead, he revealed his Combat Form—twelve wings arranged in neat rows, six pairs in total, with a full set of light-ring special effects.
After breaking through to God-tier and fusing to form his Origin bloodline, the last traces of conflict between the various energies within his body vanished.
Devil, Angel, and Fallen Angel auras perfectly attached themselves to their respective wings, while his already handsome features gained an added touch of Charm and cold severity under the influence of his Nekomata and Succubus bloodlines.
Compared to the mountainous, colossal form of the Child of Chaos, Aki hovering before it looked like nothing more than an ant. But the moment Aki stood in its path, it instinctively stopped—its wild, chaotic assault grinding to a halt.
Its combat instincts were screaming a warning: take one more step, and you’ll die.
Rias and the others also stopped in unison, their gazes fixed intently on Aki.
Excluding their bedchamber battles, this was their first time witnessing Aki’s true combat power post-God-tier.
”President, has Aki gotten even better looking?” one of the girls asked.
Rias nodded thoughtfully. “Mm. Getting stronger is a process of life evolution. The more powerful one becomes, the closer they naturally align with the ideal of a perfect being.”
”I knew it,” another chimed in. “I’d been feeling that Aki was becoming more attractive to me, and seeing him in this form confirms it.”
”Speaking of which, with Abyss-type monsters whose power completely defies the essence of life… does being uglier make them stronger?” a third girl wondered aloud.
”Not necessarily ugly,” Rias replied. “But the weirder and more abstract they look, the stronger they tend to be.”

While the girls chattered away, Aki finished charging his attack.
That was the downside of close combat—against opponents of such massive scale, it was hard to finish them off with style and grace.
Fortunately, the Child of Chaos was stupid enough. Instinct had made it stop, but it hadn’t taught it to retreat.
Merging the Destruction power and Lightning Strike—two formidable traits—and amplified through the Red Dragon gauntlet formed by Boosted Gear, Aki’s fist came crashing down upon the Child of Chaos’s brow with devastating force.
The Child of Chaos let out a tremendous roar. This time, it wasn’t just rage—there was unmistakable fear in it, fear plain enough for anyone to hear.
The fear of death.
”Damn, this kid’s too impatient…”
Sephie frowned as she observed the battle through her projection. Just as she was about to teleport in to help, Liala tugged at her sleeve.
”Sephie, have you been in hiding so long you’ve gone dull? Clearly he’s holding back.”
After their parents died, Liala had completely lost any attachment to the Demon King Castle. But Sephie was different—this was, after all, the place that had raised her, and the legacy her family had fought for.
Their differing mindsets meant that although both possessed God-tier strength, the things they perceived were somewhat different.
