 I, Meer, was born into a merchant family. It was only natural for me to marry my childhood friend, the son of merchant guild’s owner.

 My husband and I loved each other. He was an important person to me. But, since we’d been together for so long and saw each other’s faces every day, it wasn’t the kind of passionate love that people talk about.
