 Aide’s symptoms were initially anemia, nausea, and constipation. It’s likely that his digestive system was affected.

 Later, he experienced headaches, joint pain… and his digestive system worsened further. His mental state also deteriorated, and he experienced numbness in his hands and feet. In the end, he died from multiple organ failure, including kidney failure, due to his digestive system.

 According to the doctor, the cause was unknown. The medication and dietary therapy had no noticeable effects. Even when his condition improved temporarily, it would worsen over time.

 Surgical treatments were deemed ineffective from the start, so they weren’t even considered. Even the autopsy results after death didn’t show any signs of tumors or the like… the cause remained unknown.

 ”…Well, whatever. Let’s just follow Zarek’s trail for now.”

 ”Just in case, what if we find him, young master?”

 ”Tail him, and keep an eye on him. Don’t make a move yet.”

 We still don’t know Zarek’s true identity. He might just be a swindler, but if he’s a noble, that’d be a real pain. We can’t just apprehend him right away.
