In a secure room tucked behind the Merchant Guild Kinvale in McGaref, the scouting party led by Asakura Chinatsu—fresh off their labyrinth excursion—was reporting on communications intercepted by Funakoshi Aria’s logistics team.
”But… Takumi-kun becoming Emperor is ultimately the fault of the First Emperor Takumi-kun, right?” Date Haruka tilted her head, turning to Sanada Shiori, whose mind was arguably the sharpest in the room.

The sprawling network of branches the Merchant Guild Kinvale had established was proving to be a massive boon to Shiori’s analytical capabilities. Unlike the notoriously secretive Nasu Takumi, Shiori was more than happy to disclose any information she deemed useful.
”Following the MDGC, the TPP is rapidly reforming, huh?” Kadokura Hikari said, her tone light and playful.
”Wait, who’s in the TPP again?” Kadokura Hikari asked.
As Chinatsu started counting on her fingers, she listed, “Let’s see… ‘Scaya-san, Natalie-san, Nyx, Rusty, Eris-san, Meruru, Neige-san, and…”

”Yup, yup,” Chinatsu confirmed. “Princess Flavia, who’s currently en route, and the Eil-Eil group coming from Lesta are joining the ranks too.”
The sheer number of royal-class members caused a stir among the group. If there was no jealousy to be heard, it was largely due to the subtle, passive effects of Takumi’s slave-related skills.

”No, no!” Haruka protested. “Dora-chan isn’t an item, okay? Stop treatin’ us like heavy machinery, Shiori-chan.”

The soldiers looked on in further confusion at the strange, angular, illegible script she presented.
”…Understood. Please, take care of yourself,” the soldier said, saluting.
”Of course. And my apologies for making such an unreasonable request,” she replied with a polite, deferential bow.
”Perhaps you should hide your face, at least,” her escort suggested.
”No, the more I stand out, the lower the risk of assassination. Let’s go openly.”
”Alright, Mikoshiba-kun,” she said, her voice steady. “Sorry to drag you into this by virtue of our surprising simultaneous resurrections, but please handle the escort to the Burghan Theocracy. If I don’t speak directly to Livia-sensei, I won’t be able to change this world from the roots up.”
