Dungeon-Succubus-Tester 267

Chapter 267 Final Day of the Re-run⁄Lap and Our Results So Far

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

……Tester Life Day 133, Final Night of the Re-run/Lap, 14th Stratum, Gacha Temple — Sanada Yakumo ……

 ”Phew. Finally made it.”

By evening, I arrived at the Gacha Temple. I set my machete on the floor and sat cross-legged.

Karen said, “I’m totally wiped out~”

Leticia said, “We beat a lot today too.”

Karen and Leticia sat down on either side of me and stretched out their legs.

Lucy then sat beside Karen in the same posture, while Feli lay down behind Leticia, becoming her backrest.

Lunaria said, “Hmph. To giveth up over so little. Though thy rank may have reached C, thy spirit yet lacketh sufficient tempering.”

Sheena said, “Oh my. Have you forgotten how, when you first stepped onto the battlefield, you collapsed nearly every day because you fought without the slightest thought of conserving your stamina?”

Lunaria said, “Wha—!? Th-there was no need to bring up something so long ago!”

She had been pointing out Karen and Leticia’s inexperience to lord it over them, but Sheena immediately aired her past, and she faltered.

Sheena said, “They faced an Orc herd so large that, under normal circumstances, the Knight Order itself would have been dispatched. Tiredness is only natural. Besides, until five months ago, neither of them had ever fought a monster. They were civilians, after all.”

Lunaria said, “Urgh… indeed. Forgive me, Karen. Leticia.”

Karen said, “Ahaha, I’m fine with it. I know I don’t have your kind of stamina, Lunaria.”

Leticia said, “Yeah, Lunaria is on another level. Expected from a Silver Wolf-kin, though. That’s a rare breed.”

Lunaria said, “I-is that so? Aye, I am of a rare bloodline, after all. But the two of thee are formidable by human standards. Truly, thou art worthy of being chosen and trained by my lord.”

Pleased by their flattery, Lunaria praised them both with a smile.

Hmm, easy to win over. On par with Sanae, or maybe even worse.

Sanae said, “So today’s goodbye to this Stratum too, huh.”

Sayaka said, “We got way stronger, didn’t we.”

Sanae and Sayaka were handing out treats to Hanako and Rock while reflecting on the ten-day Re-run/Lap.

It was true that we had pulled useful items from the Gacha. Combined with Feli’s rank-up and Lunaria regaining her sense of self, there was no question our fighting strength had increased substantially.

Including rest days, it was roughly two weeks. Time well spent on this Stratum.

As for the Gacha results — the number of pulls over the nine Re-run/Lap days through yesterday and the prizes of silver capsule or higher were as follows:

Bronze Gacha: 250 pulls — Silver Capsules: 7, Gold Capsule: 1

Silver Gacha: 130 pulls — Silver Capsules: 6

Well, for silver capsules, both the Bronze and Silver Gacha pulled slightly below the expected rates.

Oh, right. For the Bronze Gacha, I dumped 220 pulls in one go the night before last.

I’d saved up until the day before yesterday, since all my gold capsules were gone. I remembered that a gold capsule, once pulled, replenishes after 30 days — I’d pulled the duplicate Entry Permit on the first day of the Re-run/Lap.

Even if I hadn’t pulled that day and the capsule had replenished, giving two chances, the odds were still high I would have pulled the duplicate Entry Permit anyway.

So the replenished gold capsule displayed on the Gacha screen held a Grade 3 Magic Tent.

 Disappointing, if I’m honest.

We already owned a Grade 3 Magic Tent and used it for rest breaks. We’d also won a Grade 5 Magic Tent from a silver capsule in the same Bronze Gacha, which served as the familiars’ den on the isolated island.

Even if I let the familiars use it, Saizou would hate the cleaning. It’s Saizou who cleans the Magic Tent, after all. The other familiars lack five fingers, so they’re all useless at housework. Personality-wise, they resemble the blonde doll’s owner — the type who won’t lift a finger for anyone but themselves. Lucy won’t even lift a finger for herself. Hanako is a neat freak, but only about her own body and immediate surroundings. Rock never enters the Magic Tent in the first place; he’s always sleeping under a tree on the island. Well, with Hanako being bigger than him, it’s probably cramped.

In the end, the multi-talented Saizou handles cleaning, laundry, bath prep, and everything else. He’s thoughtful, that one. A real mother hen. The guy’s practically their mom.

So a spacious 2LDK Grade 3 Magic Tent was, if anything, unnecessary.

The description did say the replenished gold capsule prize would be less rare than the original. And a Grade 3 Magic Tent costs 500,000 DP at the Shop.

Looking at it that way, it was better than a 300,000 DP Bracelet of Might, but I would have preferred a slightly rarer intermediate Magic Tome.

I could sell it to guild members, but anyone who cleared the 10th Floor already had a Grade 5 Magic Tent, so even discounted, they probably wouldn’t buy it.

Well, it wasn’t something that would cause problems, so I figured it was fine. Before spinning the Gacha, I made a grand show of planting a flag, then had everyone spin — familiars and all, except Sanae and pre-awakening Lunaria.

Even with the unclear contents, 220 pulls made for plenty of excitement.

The result: the gold capsule was hit by Saizou on the 190th pull.

That was the first time I’d ever seen Saizou do a victory pose. He’d been watching us pull from the ceiling this whole time, and the one time he spun before, he got a dud. He must have been ecstatic.

Lucy was overjoyed by her master’s success too, pulling confetti from the pouch at Saizou’s waist and scattering it over his head.

Saizou looked a little embarrassed. Another first. Between watching period dramas and anime DVDs in the living room with Karen and Leticia, the guy’s been getting strangely human lately.

Apart from that, the Bronze Gacha’s bronze capsules yielded beginner and Utility Magic Scrolls, various Grade 4–5 Potions, leather armor, Black Iron gauntlets, daggers, and other equipment. Mostly Scrolls, honestly.

Even the white dud capsules had plenty of carrot-based desserts, so Sheena was all smiles clutching her capsules and Scrolls. Sayaka, beside her, was grinning too, loaded with ingredient capsules.

Over 500 ingredient capsules in total. And since they wouldn’t rot until manifested, we wouldn’t lack food for a while.

The Black Iron weapons, armor, leather armor, and other equipment from the Gacha were listed at the Shop’s weapons and armor counter. Most guild members had already cleared the 10th Floor, but their weapons and armor had taken heavy damage — listed at night, everything sold out within about ten minutes.

Many were away on the 11th Stratum expedition, but during my return hours, someone was always glued to their portable Magic Crystal.

And the seven silver-capsule prizes from the Bronze Gacha were as follows:

 Stone Bullet Magic Tome

 Cure Magic Tome

 Bracelet of Power

 Black Steel Small Shield

 Black Steel Large Knife

 Black Steel Kunai (5-piece set)

 Magic Gun

Yes — we pulled another Magic Gun. That made two standard ones, but the spare could be useful, so I handed it straight to Karen.

Karen said, “Maybe I’ll dual-wield one in each hand and call myself Two-Gun Karen!”

But her accuracy with her off hand was terrible, so I talked her out of it.

I equipped the Black Steel Large Knife and Bracelet of Power — which boosts arm strength by 1.5× — on Lucy, our attacker. Combined with her Anklet of Swiftness, that gave her 1.5× both strength and speed.

I equipped the Black Steel Small Shield myself. Heavier, but same size and diamond shape as the Black Iron Small Shield, so I adapted quickly. The Black Steel Kunai went to Saizou. Goes without saying.

As for Stone Bullet magic — it was essentially a stone-projectile version of my Fire Bullet. Proper bullet-shaped, and the activation time was about the same. According to Sheena, it had slightly longer range than a Magic Gun, so I had Karen learn it.

That made Karen a seamless mid-range attacker: Fire Arrow for distant targets, Stone Bullet for mid-to-long range, Magic Gun for mid-range, and Fire Wall plus two hidden Magic Guns up close.

Cure was status-healing magic also available at the Shop. Same effect as a Grade 5 Status-recovery Potion, but like Heal, it had no cooldown. Stacking it repeatedly could even treat poisons requiring a Grade 4 Status-recovery Potion. Naturally, I had Leticia learn it.

As for the Silver Gacha’s bronze capsules — rare beginner magic Scrolls, intermediate magic Scrolls, Return magic Scrolls, Grade 3–4 Potions, Black Iron large weapons, Gray Wolf Leather Armor, and various other items.

Not just Scrolls — Magic Tomes dropped from the bronze capsules too. Mostly beginner magic we already knew, like Heal and Fireball, but among them was a light-element Magic Tome: Cleanse.

Apparently, this was the original magic that humans in the other world based their Scrolls of Clean on.

Yes — it was magic that removed dirt and smell from the body.

 Everyone, myself included, was thrilled.

Sanae might have been the happiest of all. Sorry, but every time I see her face, I just want to get it absolutely filthy.

This magic should normally have been learned by Leticia, our resident saint, but she told me to learn it instead — since I was the one rotating between the women each night. Made sense. More efficient that way. And if we got dirty on an expedition, the Magic Tent had a bath.

So I decided to learn Cleanse. And once I had it, I decided to take on the anal sex Moe had been asking for.

Anal preparation required several steps, but the anal cleansing was instant — just insert a finger, chant Cleanse, done. Moe was experienced, so it slid in smoothly.

My honest impression of the resulting anal sex? It wasn’t that great for me. Well, obviously. The tightness was incredible, sure, but it couldn’t match a meiki pussy. If there existed such a thing as a meiki ass, maybe my impression would differ, but I’d never even heard of one.

That said, it was visually stimulating. The sense of conquest from filling her mouth, pussy, and ass with cum was part of it, but more than that — Moe was moaning in a vulgar voice unlike anything she’d ever made before. Her normal demeanor was always gentle, practically radiating maternal warmth, so when she started making noises like Kyoko, I was startled at first. But the gap itself turned me on even more, and alternating between her pussy and ass had her coming over and over. When a woman tells you, “I always wanted a thick cock like this,” it’s a man’s pride fulfilled.

Predictably, Kyoko, the shameless voyeur watching beside us, asked to have one put in her too.

Leticia asked the same the next morning, though in her case it was probably curiosity. Karen said she was scared but curious — same thing.

Sanae was silent, but she kept stealing glances at me, so she was clearly interested. She’s basically a lower-tier Kyoko. I had a feeling both Kyoko and Sanae would get hooked on anal.

As for Sheena and Sayaka, they gave the impression of “if you want to, then go ahead.” These two had never once refused anything I asked of them.

Still, it couldn’t happen right away. The anus needed to be properly stretched first, or it would just be painful. My cock had already gotten longer, thicker, and more drill-like than before. Jamming it in without preparation would definitely tear something.

So Moe took charge of instructing them. The result: Kyoko wore hers all day. The other women, it turned out, all kept anal beads in whenever they weren’t exploring, gradually increasing the count before switching to dildos.

Lunaria, who still lacked her self-awareness at the time, had also been inserted into by Sheena’s urging. When she regained her senses yesterday, she was shocked — but upon seeing Sheena wearing one so matter-of-factly, her competitive streak kicked in, and she started wearing one too. The way her face turned bright red was cute, I’ll admit.

For my part, I wouldn’t get hooked — pussy felt better — but doubling the number of available holes meant our sex life had more variety going forward. And I wanted to see the women’s faces at least once when something was going in there. The sense of conquest was plenty satisfying.

Anyway, enough about anal. To wrap up, here are the six prizes from the Silver Gacha’s silver capsules:

 Adamantite Machete

 Sanctuary Magic Tome

 Rapid-Fire Magic Gun

 Adamantite Sword

 Anklet of Gale

 Ice Lance Magic Tome

The recently won Adamantite Sword went to Lunaria, the Anklet of Gale to Sheena. Sheena’s old Anklet of Swiftness went to Saizou.

And at last — I obtained the Ice Lance Magic Tome that Ria, back with Kurokawa, used to wield.

Naturally, I had Sayaka learn it. With this, she had mastered both intermediate spear-type magic: fire and ice.

As a rare intermediate physical magic, it compared favorably to Fire Lance — its physical properties meant added drop speed, higher attack power, and no mid-flight power degradation. Fire Lance’s damage faded with distance. Worse still in a rain field like the 13th floor.

That said, like Tornado, Sayaka’s Mana Capacity consumption was brutal with this many intermediate magics learned. Same for Leticia with Sanctuary and Light Ring. I was giving them Grade 3 Mana Capacity Recovery Potions, but the castle-front plaza drained a staggering amount.

That was solved during lunch and rest breaks — I would climax inside them, then transfer one-third of my Mana Capacity to each. Thanks to Hanako’s skill ‘The Queen’s Tantrum,’ I, the vanguard, needed to cast less magic anyway. During breaks, I’d release inside two women and distribute a third to each. An eroge-level ability, honestly.

So those were the Gacha results over the nine days up to yesterday.

And the final Gacha on the last day, using G-Coins — the Bronze Gacha, with no gold capsules left and lackluster prizes, was spun 30 times by me, Saizou, and Rock.

 Silver capsules: zero.

While we moped, Karen and Leticia pulled the Silver Gacha 20 times — and hit a silver capsule.

Inside was the ‘Ring of Protection.’

A mithril ring set with a stone the size of a pinky nail. When an attack draws near, it automatically deploys a barrier of light to block it. Sold in the Shop too — a magic item worth 300,000 DP.

According to Lunaria, who had worn it in a previous life, it could block roughly five Orc-class attacks. Its durability was about half that of Sanctuary, but the advantage was mobility — far more versatile.

However, once the light barrier was shattered, the ring’s gem cracked too, rendering it permanently unusable. If it wasn’t shattered, though, it apparently repaired itself within a day at most. Like the Talisman of Life, it was a safety-net item.

An expensive item, and the vanguard would probably break it almost immediately, so it was best suited for the rearguard. In the original other world, the rearguard had apparently used it.

Incidentally, Lunaria had apparently broken hers frequently, as Sheena outed her. Predictable, really.

In the end, we equipped the Ring of Protection on Sayaka. She hadn’t learned self-defense magic like Light Shield or Sanctuary, unlike Leticia. Wall-type spells took too long to cast for emergency defense.

Oh, right — the Talisman of Life. I bought one for everyone and had them equipped. At 200,000 DP each it was pricey, but I expected a chaotic melee at the castle-front plaza. Better safe than sorry — I equipped all the women.

Here was the current state of everyone’s equipment and learned magic, myself included.

 So that about covered it.

Equipment and magic had been bolstered significantly, and with Hanako and Feli ranking up, our fighting strength was considerably reinforced.

It was a shame Rock and Lucy, originally rank-F Kobolds, hadn’t learned skills, but they were still useful in the moment. Lucy had magic items, at least.

I felt a little guilty not giving Rock magic items since he served rearguard escort, but prioritizing the vanguard — Lucy and Saizou — was unavoidable.

Lucy was fast, befitting the highest tier of rogue, so she worked as an attacker. But Rock had been raised for pure defense.

It was that bittersweet feeling from games — the original party member who gradually falls behind as stages advance and you stop using them. That same quiet sadness.

Well, he seemed happy enough just being near Sayaka, the one he loved. And he was a dog. That airheaded contentment of his — absolutely not inherited from me.

Tomorrow was finally the 14th Stratum Guardian battle.

Honestly, I didn’t feel like we’d struggle. But anything could happen. I’d keep my guard up.

• Hanako – A D-Rank homunculus Orc Woman General and Sanada’s stoic tamer subordinate. This frontline defender wears black iron armor exposing massive pink breasts and a wagging pig tail. Wielding twin greatshields, her masochistic combat style uses Provocation and The Queen’s Tantrum for dungeon crowd control, absorbing projectiles to safeguard her party allies as a durable meat wall.

• Rock – A grey-furred, Shiba-Inu-eyed male Kobold from the Magic Sealing Crystal who wears a leather jacket and pilot’s cap. As a lazy yet reliable older-brother figure, this frontline defender wields a greatshield and short-spear to anchor formations and break charges, but also acts as a silent party member who assists with combat operations and guards the backline spellcasters on higher floors.

• Saizou – An E-rank monster party member, this taciturn, highly polite male goblin vanguard wears ninja garb, featuring a small horn and jagged teeth. Using stealth and high-speed mobility across rooftops, this daggerman/bowman eliminates priority targets like Orc Wizards. She also enjoys drinking and socializing, having previously shared drinks with Lunaria.

• Kurokawa – A scarred, D-Rank high school student and leader of a fugitive group of betrayed outcasts, he bears Ogre Ninja burn scars. Yet, after consuming an Oblivion Potion, he now displays absolute, tearful loyalty to the protagonist.

• Ria – A high school-aged, blonde, soulless doll of soccer club leader Yusa Hayato. She is a D-Rank female magic user who provides the primary magical firepower for Kurokawa’s party.

• Roa – Kurokawa’s 20-year-old girlfriend and partner to Jin is a tall, slender D+ Rank swordsman and former soldier. She has shoulder-length red hair, striking legs, a cursed crotch tattoo, and is completely hopeless at cooking. Once a skilled combatant, an Oblivion Potion has now left her hollow-eyed, amnesiac, and reduced to a Soul-less Doll with D+ Mana Capacity.
