After a while… once the Gavrett mother and daughter had calmed down, Ms. Elina stepped forward to give thanks on their behalf.
”Thank you very much. We will… look forward to this favor♡”
”Huh? Ah, um…”
The words seemed to carry a hint of desire, and I worried that Ms. Alicia or Ms. Hilda might notice.
Was it because of the broken arm, and the fact that it healed so completely was a better result than expected?
Ms. Alicia’s gaze pierced me like a knife, but then Ms. Hilda, who had just finished tidying up the unused holy water, spoke up.
”Um, what was that thing you used? It seems to have disappeared…”
It was the talisman I let Ms. Alicia touch, the one for “protection from illness and disaster.”
Letting her touch it and then making it vanish with magic was supposed to be a signal to Seria, but I gave her the prepared story instead.
”It was a magic item I found in the dungeon. It disappears after you use it.”
”Is that so? But something so valuable, was it really okay not to keep it for yourself?”
”Ah, don’t worry. I found 3 at once, so I’ve kept one for myself.”
That’s why I planned ahead and was okay with Ms. Hilda staying inside instead of waiting outside as planned.
This was something I thought of for Seria’s “Commercial Recovery” to uncurse Ms. Alicia, but at the time, I wasn’t planning to tell her how to turn invisible, so I wanted to avoid her power being revealed during the uncurse, and that’s why I brought her in as a guardian.
I was even thinking of uncurse Ms. Alicia while she was asleep.
But things changed too much, and that plan went to waste.
Getting back to the story… Ms. Hilda seemed to notice something and asked a question.

”I only used it once. The paper said the same things, so I thought it would work the same. But, their curse wasn’t the same as Lady Alicia’s. And since her arm was like that, I thought we should be ready. That’s why I got the paper.”
”I see… so that’s how it was…”

She finally believed me, crossed her arms, and made her big boobs stick out.
I looked at her boobs, but I was happy my story worked.
So, I don’t have the power to break curses.
It was just that magic paper.
The reason I used it on Ms. Alicia was to get paid, after I got my own paper.
That should make sense.
Really, I don’t want anything.
Someone might try to take the other paper… But, I’ll pretend to give it to them in public, then change it back to magic.
I’ll act like I used my paper too, and got cursed myself.
That way, if they find out I was the man with Iris in Dungeon City, and find out “Fuji’s” real identity, it’ll be okay.
Well, if they try to find out about me, they’ll have to check on Iris.
And if they dig too deep, they might find out Ms. Alicia was cursed.
And Ms. Elina told them to shut up, so Ms. Hilda probably won’t do anything.
As I was thinking that… Ms. Hilda came up to me, grabbed my hand, and pushed it onto her chest.

”Uh, um…?”
It’s way too big for my hand, but it’s not sagging much.
I think that’s because of how tight it is.
I was thinking about that when I asked what she was doing… She said she was sorry and thanking me.
”Um, at first, I thought it was a scam. But also… hearing Lady Alicia got better without suffering makes me happy too, since I’m close with Lady Elina.”
Saying that, she moves my hand and makes me squeeze her chest.

Ms. Hilda looks way calmer now, softer than when we first met.
I guess she was tense for Ms. Elina and Ms. Alicia before.
