”I know that already. That guy really likes women, right? If there’s even a small chance Alicia might be forced to use her body, we need to act first.”
”Yeah. That was just a trick to pull us out. I didn’t say much so he wouldn’t find out.”
”So that’s why he said not to move? Then maybe he doesn’t like women that much?”
”No, he really did have something going on with a few maids. But they agreed to it.”
”So he does like women a lot.”
”Yeah, pretty much. But still… even if that’s true, can we really stop him?”
”Hmm. We don’t have a way right now… but we’re going to run anyway. You should report him and set something up.”
”I don’t mind. But didn’t he have a girl with him? Maybe we could use her as a hostage.”
”Seria, right? She looked nice and had a good body too. But it depends how close they are. If he’s the type to leave her behind, we’re the ones in trouble.”
”True. You should look into that too.”
”Yeah. So, we leave at night?”
”Right. We can’t fake the exit, but leaving some clues will make them think you went that way. You’ll tell them about this place anyway, won’t you?”
”Sure. Then I’ll take it easy until then.”
”You can’t just stay here the whole time. Someone will notice if you disappear.”
”It’s okay. Young guys love being the first to find something. They get excited and stop thinking.”
”I guess it’s not rare. But if something strange is left behind, people might get suspicious later.”
”It’ll be fine. I’ve been coming here to switch out supplies and no one caught me. Still, getting all the stuff ready for escape was a pain. Could’ve used another helper, you know?”
”Less people means less risk of a leak. That’s why only the three of us were chosen to sneak in. And it worked—we were never suspected before.”
”So in the end, it’s all Koji’s fault?”
”No. Even Koji didn’t suspect me until today.”
”Huh? Then how did we get found out?”
”I don’t know. Maybe he planned to use that paper on everyone. Or maybe someone gave him information from somewhere.”
”You mean the paper might be used more than once? And who do you think told him something?”
”While hiding, I needed magic. I took it from magic stones. But there’s a problem—if the person I hide as has no magic, too much power can leak out.”
”Someone noticed that?”
”I was careful when refilling. It only happened once, and for just a second… but maybe someone saw.”
”Irisiera, maybe? She’s a magician, right? She could notice that.”
”No, the leak happened before she came back. It was someone else.”
”Who else goes in and out of Gavrett and uses magic? Maybe that cleric with the big chest. She’s a bit older, but I wouldn’t mind being with her…”
”It’s Hilda. Maybe. But Koji might’ve brought Seria, too, and there could be other reasons she knew something.”
”Ah… she only got here recently, right? If she’s with Koji, maybe she’s got some real skills.”
”Either way, if we mess up and the other one gets more careful, it’ll be harder to move later.”
”Yeah, that’s bad. So we stay quiet until we get new orders.”
”Do that. Sigh… I should rest too until night. It’s really cold walking around with just this cloak.”
”Well, we can’t make a fire here. Just try to stay warm however you can.”

A few hours passed.
They didn’t mean to, but both of them fell asleep.
When they opened their eyes again… they were in the dungeon of the Gavrett family.
