Three horsemen rushed into the clan house grounds.
”Hey! I came to hang out like I promised!”
”Sir Elberhardt…!”
I couldn’t help but shout. Following Elberhardt was…
”I heard some foolish guys invaded the village.”
”Kazumi! Are you okay!?”
Baron O’Brian and Knight Müller.
”Oh ho… looks like we have some interesting guests. I heard you lost to Hiroya multiple times, fell into dark magic, and even tried to attack when Hiroya couldn’t move──what a cowardly move. You’re also a scumbag who assaults women, huh?”
Elberhardt’s provoking words made Otto stand up, stepping away from Simona.
”What? I thought it was someone important, but it’s just the hero and the demoted Guardian Knight. ──This is pointless. Just leave already.”
Saying that, Otto raised his longsword.
”I’ve heard from Azradelius. You two from the hero party. ──If you hurt a demon kin, you’ll get the same wounds in return, right? Plus, I hear the hero has had his ‘heroic powers’ sealed. You’re not even worth my time.”
”Taking that demon’s words seriously──what a surprisingly lucky guy you are.”
With Otto’s provocation, Elberhardt dismounted with a loud laugh.
”──Wanna give it a try? Don’t bark like a proud adventurer just because you got some Demonkin (Majin) power.”
His nonchalant attitude suddenly turned the atmosphere icy.
”Minister! You don’t need to step in. This little guy──I’m more than enough.”
Knight Müller dismounted and drew his longsword.
”Come on, you scoundrel. I’ll cut you down without even exchanging a single blow──you’re not even worth the pride of being an adventurer or a human.”
”Papa! That Otto has a ‘Magic Eye’──.”
Müller’s voice echoed, and Kazumi, who had returned to the entrance from inside the mansion, shouted, trying to explain Otto’s “power,” but Müller just smiled.
”Kazumi, I’m a sword guy. I’ve come this far just with my sword skills. Magic Eye? That won’t work at all against my sword. Just watch.”
Müller held his longsword straight in front of him.
”Minister, Lord… don’t interfere.”
”No need to. You’re already overkill by yourself.”
”I’ll leave it to the Guardian Knight.”
With their permission, Müller smiled and closed the distance to Otto.
”Kazumi’s papa! Otto has regeneration ability too!”
”──I’ll just chop off his head and slice up his brain, so it’s all good, Rena.”
…This knight is saying some scary stuff with a smile…
”How disrespectful… yo?!”
Otto swung his longsword at Müller. Müller easily dodged the attack by lowering his stance and, with a swift upward slash, severed Otto’s right arm.

The clan members watching with him at the entrance all exclaimed in unison.
I couldn’t help but gasp at the result of Müller’s flowing, beautiful movements leading to such a gruesome scene.
”──!”
”See? We didn’t even have to exchange blows, right? ──Next is the head?”
”Ugh!”
Otto hurriedly jumped back and picked up his right arm.
”Oh, so picking up your right arm means… even with regeneration, it doesn’t just grow back, huh? Then──.”
Müller kicked off the ground and instantly closed the distance. His sword came down from above, cleanly slicing off Otto’s left arm.
”What──!”
Müller kicked the severed left arm toward us.
”Kazumi!”
Kazumi seemed to understand from his father’s words and cast a spell.
”Fire Pillars!”
Otto’s left arm, which had rolled nearby, was instantly engulfed in flames.
”Hahaha! Now you’ve lost your left arm too!”
”Yooooou bastardddd!!!”
”What’s up? The right arm I thought I picked up is just lying there. Should I grab it and take it back?”
Otto is furious, but with both arms lost, he doesn’t look intimidating at all.
”Next time we meet… I’ll kill you! I’ll kill you in the most brutal way──I’ll violate your daughter completely!”
After shouting that, Otto really did pick up his right arm and walked away.
”Aren’t you going to chase him?”
”Taking him down is the job of my disciple. Well, taking one arm is just a little love tap from master to disciple.”
Lord Elberhardt said this, and Müller smiled back as he sheathed his sword.
”Did you get a good master or a terrible one? Hiroya, I feel for you.”
Ignoring Lord Elberhardt, who was holding his head, we rushed over to Simona.

As I slowly opened my eyes, there was Doll, the worried succubus, peering down at me.
”Hey, Doll──sorry for the trouble.”

After showing a relieved expression, Doll quickly looked away and grumbled.
”Looks like my dad took care of you.”
I sat up in bed.

I tried out the ‘power’ my dad gave me a bit.

Saying that, Doll stood up.

After hearing the details, I found out that Otto led lower youma to attack when he realized I wasn’t waking up.
”…Want to head down together?”

Doll supported me and helped me out of the bedroom. Her wings brushed against my arm, and it hurt a little.

When we went downstairs and entered the dining room…

Just as Doll let me down from her shoulder, Kazumi burst in.
”Whoa!”
I managed to catch her, but I almost fell, and Doll supported me again.
”We’ve all been waiting for you…”
”Hiroya… I’m so glad…”
”Big Brother Hiroya, good morning!”
”Mr. Hiroya… are you okay now?”
”Hiro… we were worried about you…”
Liz, Rena, Martina, Dorothy, and Aluda surrounded me, teary-eyed.
”Hiroya, everyone worked hard to fend off the attack.”
”Master, are you feeling better now?”
Asuka nodded with her arms crossed, while Gorge looked like he was about to cry despite his words.
”Hiro, I…”
”No way, Eluda! This isn’t the time to confess, and I won’t allow any sneaky moves!”
Eluda and Meluda laughed as they said that.
”Lord Hiroya… this battle really made me feel my own inexperience. Please start training us hard from tomorrow.”
”H-Hiroya is… m-my precious… b-brother… please don’t do anything reckless anymore…”
Gièze cried regretfully, and Sister Karina was angry while crying.
”Without Mr. Hiroya… the attack was really scary…”
”Mr. Hiroya… I want to become stronger.”
Lotta started crying out loud, and Noriss clenched his fists.
”Wile you wuz gone, I reallly did me best, ya know?”
For some reason, Simona in a gown was smiling.

Suu, Noo, and Uu bowed their heads.
”Mr. Hiroya… welcome back.”
Ms. Hanna smiled at me with teary eyes.
”Everyone… I’m really sorry. And──thank you so much.”
While hugging Kazumi, I bowed my head to everyone.
Koichi and Aelia were about to leave the cafeteria, along with Master Müller, Elberhardt, and… Dad.
”Dad!”
”Glad to be back. I’m heading home.”
He turned back and said just that, then walked toward the entrance.
”Tomorrow… I’m coming home. ──I have something to talk about.”
”Got it. Mom and I will be waiting.”
With that, he left the mansion.
”Tomorrow… I’ll tell Dad about me── about Hiroya.”
I whispered softly in Kazumi’s ear.
”Yeah…”
”And, Kazumi. I saw the world from my past life… the world beyond after we died. I’ll talk about it tonight.”
”Okay. I understand.”
