In the bath of the Underground Temple, Yaten and I soaked in the warm water, letting the day’s fatigue melt away.
Perhaps from her battle with the equally powerful Void Dragon, Yaten leaned her back against me completely drained, a rare sight as she surrendered to the heat like it was softening her very body. I held her voluptuous form from behind, murmuring words of comfort.

She seemed too weary to converse, but still, knowing that the events of the Seal Dragon Festival (Fūryūsai) would shape the children’s future, she continued, nodding off slightly as her head bobbed with sleepiness.
Her trust in me showed plainly as she bared herself without reservation. I held her firmly, twisting slightly to prevent her from sinking, pressing her ample chest against me in reassurance.
”Two Evil Dragons that could blot out the sky fought to the death above. Most of this country’s people witnessed it… and now, with the Internet, it’s even broadcast worldwide… uh, mm. But, my husband… your embrace… it’s so comforting…”
”Broadcasting the battle between Yaten and Void Dragon worldwide, huh…”
I pictured the two massive Evil Dragons clashing with the force of an apocalypse, black spheres exploding across the sky like nuclear detonations, witnessed by countless humans and streamed live to the world. The chaos alone would have thrown nations into panic.
With two world-destroying dragons facing each other, everyone — domestic and foreign alike — would want to know the outcome. That’s why Yaten had released the dignitaries from the Fūryūsai: the situation demanded attention here, not global chaos.
”If I had stayed as the Evil Dragon, the immediate problem would have been surviving this fight, not the world’s confusion,” she continued.
”My value as the Evil Dragon is now made clear, but fighting the Void Dragon caused unnecessary global panic… Still, it was the best choice — I had to stop it directly. The world might have ended otherwise. Hmph… thinking about it is tiring. Husband, before I sleep, indulge me a little…”
”If you’re sleepy, you don’t have to force yourself.”
”This isn’t for us. It’s for the child in my womb — to show the little one love from both parents. It’s… prenatal education.”
Her beautifully closed eyes parted just enough to reveal golden light. Even in lethargy, Yaten’s expression could not hide the desire stirred by facing her mate. Exhausted as she was, she still pressed herself against me, signaling that our intimacy was inevitable, brushing her lips against mine in a soft, languid kiss.
Though her usual dominance was muted, her tongue moved with a sticky, deliberate pace. Our lips tangled, pushing and pulling, until she yielded, allowing my tongue to enter her mouth.

Tonight, Yaten showed an incredible weakness under pressure. She seemed ready to surrender all initiative, curling her arms in front of her chest. I wrapped her in my embrace, holding her close, letting her feel protected.
Her body bounced slightly in my arms, clearly enjoying our intimacy, and her kisses grew more passionate. Yaten, a maternal force yet behaving like a girl seeking her mate, answered every advance with a fevered kiss, the contrast to her usual dominance striking a chord deep within me.

To become sustenance for the new life, there was no reason to hold back. I positioned myself at her wet entrance, careful not to harm the child.
”I’ll be gentle. I won’t go all the way inside.”
”No need. Your vigor will fill the interior, reaching the womb and nourishing it completely.”
”Then let’s show our little one the love of its parents!”
