Volume 6 Chapter 1 Prologue

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

Inside the Ryogoku Kokugikan¹, two figures faced each other in a small, deserted room.

Hu Lingyin, her hands tied behind her back and restrained to a pipe chair, glared at the man in front of her while exhaling ragged breaths.

 ”Huff… huff…”

Hair clung to her sweaty skin and her makeup was a mess, but the intent to rebel still remained on Lingyin’s face.

”Ya held out longer than I thought. As expected of a genius Doushi²-sama, yeah?”

The fox-faced youth receiving her gaze head-on – Kazuramichi Naoshi – twisted his lips sarcastically. He dropped into a half-crouch and placed his hand on Lingyin’s lower abdomen.

 ”-! Ahhh… AHHHHHH-!!”

Ten seconds after she braced herself, a scream leaked out, unable to withstand the pain racing through her body.

 Bouchujutsu³.

A technique originating from the continent that aligns Yin and Yang energies through the union of man and woman.

But what was being performed now was a forced imposition of Spirit Energy (Reiki).

Unlike original Bouchujutsu, it involved no direct act.

However, the Spirit Energy flowing in from the palm placed on her lower abdomen pierced through the woman’s body with a violent force that could only be described as a violation.

 ”Ugh…!”

Groans leaked from her mouth, and her body occasionally trembled with involuntary reactions.

What was terrifying for Lingyin was that the sensations she felt from the repeated acts were becoming more than just pain.

”So, what’s yer friends’ goal? What’s the scale of the operation?”

”Who… would ever talk-” Lingyin gasped.

”I don’t know who’s pullin’ the strings, but are ya really so naive to think they’ll believe a failure who got caught alive hasn’t blabbed a word, yeah?” Naoshi asked.

 ”-!”

Even as he asked, he didn’t wait for an answer; his thumb was pressed firmly into her stomach.

The sound Lingyin let out was tinged with a color that wasn’t pain.

His narrow eyes drew an arc.

”It’s ’bout time it starts feelin’ good. I don’t really have a hobby of tormentin’ people, after all.”

 ”With… what mouth…”

Even with the forced imposition of foreign Spirit Energy, if it is repeated, the body will try to adapt to it.

And if the man thins the amount he passes and consciously lets it harmonize, it approaches the original ritual accompanied by communion.

-This man understands how to break a ‘woman’ using energy.

Cold sweat ran down Lingyin’s back.

”You… where did you learn such a wicked-” Lingyin muttered.

”It’s my master’s teachin’. He said there’s plenty of nasty women and temptations in the world, so I should be prepared, yeah.”

”Hmph. So you decided to become a nasty man yourself, ka?”

”That’s rude. Even though I’m makin’ ya so happy here.”

 ”The conceit- ugh, nn-!!”

Once again, the man’s Spirit Energy ran through her entire body. It was a pleasure already similar to a light peak.

It wasn’t that Lingyin had accepted this job without considering the possibility of defeat at all.

But for a man to exist who could defeat Mouyon alone other than Touma Yukinojo, and for him to use such forceful means-

 ”Ah… ugh…!”

Direct Spirit Energy had already stopped, but strength entered her inner thighs from the tremors that ran up her back a moment later.

”Hate to ruin the mood, but could ya answer my question?” Naoshi asked.

 ”-!”

Spirit Energy poured from the hand resting on her thigh, creating a sharp prick of pain.

What Lingyin’s body felt toward that was confusion rather than anger.

Even though she had already surrendered her body, why did he still commit such violence- that kind of bewilderment.

 ”-! Huff… huff…”

As if to soothe her confused body, the man’s hand crawled up toward the base of her legs with slow movements.

 There was no loathing.

While breathing heavily, Lingyin unconsciously followed that hand with her eyes.

 ”Haa… haa…”

He reached the area steamed by sweat from pain and tension; the moment the clothing was turned up, she felt a sense of comfort as the outside air touched her.

 ”Nnh.”

”A human’s brain is a pretty convenient thing. It can’t be helped that it receives stimulation in a way that suits it- but lady, yer quite a masochist originally, ain’t ya?”

 ”-!”

Before an argument against the insult could leave Lingyin’s mouth, it was sealed by a piercing gaze.

That reaction showed that Naoshi’s words were correct.

”If ya talk, I’ll save yer life. How ’bout it?”

”…A cheap threat, ne,” Lingyin replied.

”That’s an optimistic response, yeah. I’m talkin’ ’bout us protectin’ ya, y’know?”

 ”…”

When she asked with her eyes what he was talking about, he began to speak enjoyably.

”There’s no way the people on the continent would admit to an assassination row while carryin’ the country’s name, right? It’ll be ‘the work of extremists’- nah, they won’t even admit those exist. They’ll silence ya and act like ya never existed. Then they’ll say the whole thing was our false accusation and that’ll be that.”

 ”That… is…”

The more he spoke, the more she felt that would be the case.

Nay, the very meaning of not being informed of the existence of such military force- perhaps her own failure was part of the plan.

Or perhaps the plan had already collapsed-

The shock of defeat, the repeated torture, and the man’s powerful assertion made her judgment waver.

”That’s why it’s gotta be now. Yer words only have value now, while we’re dyin’ to know what’s gonna happen next. Whether ya push through or back out, there’s no time left for that decision, yeah?”

 No, that wasn’t it.

What was most important? She should ask herself that once more.

Loyalty? Face? But was it something to stake her life on-?

”So, what’re ya gonna do? There’s no point in pretendin’ to endure, y’know.”

Before her thoughts could be organized, the man’s thumb was pressed against her center through her underwear.

A wet sound arose as his finger was pushed in.

 ”Ah…”

The leaked voice contained an unhidable expectation and fawning.

Even so, Lingyin shook her head.

 ”Ahhhhhhh-♡”

She endured two more times from there- however, there was no intent to resist in the reason or meaning for that.

She simply confirmed once more the scale of the opponent she was betting her life on.

Because we do not assimilate, never.

Even if the head is replaced, or if we cross the sea and move our residence somewhere, the Umeda where we reside is our ancestral land, the center of the world.

Even if we submit to someone, it is only temporary- then, it is a matter of magnanimity to even enjoy that.

 ”I’ll talk… I’ll talk, so…”

More, gently, Lingyin pleaded with her eyes.

 Surrender had a sweet taste.
