Kéa lies back in the bath, starting to float with a gentle bounce.

After soaking plenty in the hot spring, we were about to restart our dungeon exploration.

The effect of the hot spring seems to last longer than expected.
”I feel like I could fight in the snow even in light gear!”
Without a moment’s hesitation, Kéa starts putting on her bikini armor.
Lately, we’ve been wearing Santa Claus outfits for warmth.

Well, if she says that much, I guess we can give it a shot.
Lifia and I stick with our Santa costumes, while Kéa heads out in her bikini armor to tackle the snowy mountain.
When we step outside, it still looks like a winter wonderland.
The bright white snow sparkles under the blue sky.
But the biting cold that I felt before seems to have eased up a bit.
”See! I’m totally okay!”
Kéa jumps and dances around in the snow, shouting cheerfully.
Steam still rises gently from her body, showing just how effective the hot spring treatment was.
”Wow, the hot spring power is amazing!”
We’re impressed and start exploring.
But that didn’t last long.
After a while, Kéa’s movements start to slow down.
”…”
”What’s wrong, Kéa?”
When I call out, she turns to me, shaking.
”Um, I thought so…”
”Ah.”
”I-it’s so cooooooold!”
Kéa screams loudly, hugging her body as she shakes.
”Ahhh, Milord! I wanna go inside!”
”Okay, okay.”
As soon as I open the door to the Love Hotel, Kéa jumps in eagerly.
She’s probably going straight for the hot spring.
”Seriously, that’s so Kéa.”
I mutter with a wry smile.
Looks like surviving the snowy mountain in bikini armor was impossible after all.
”Guess I gotta warm Kéa up in the hot spring again before we try this again.”
I say that and start to head back to the Love Hotel.
But Lifia stops and stares intently at the snowy mountain.
”What’s up?”
”Master, please let me observe a little longer.”
Lifia gently shuts her eyes, placing her hands at her chest and begins to chant a spell.
”Mooluum, Ex Vent.”
In that moment, I feel the air around us tremble a little, like a clear ripple spreading out.
Lifia is using Spirit Magic.
I quietly watch her.
Soon, Lifia opens her eyes and turns to face me.
”Master”
”How was it?”
”I didn’t feel any effects from the snow that drains magic.”
”What?”
I can’t hide my surprise at her answer.
In this dungeon on the 4th Floor, the draining magic snow limits the use of spells.
If she doesn’t feel it at all…
”Is it the effect of the hot spring?”
”Probably, yes.”
Lifia answers while quietly nodding.
She seems to be confident in her conclusion.
I can’t help but be impressed.
The facilities of this Love Hotel keep surprising me, but I never expected such an effect.
So, if we warm up enough in this hot spring, we can use magic without being affected by the draining snow.
”This is useful.”
I mumble without thinking.
This could drastically change our efficiency in exploring from now on.
If we can use magic without problems, the difficulty level of this floor will drop significantly.
After that, we kept moving for a while to see how long the hot spring’s effect would last.
As a result, we found that we could use magic without feeling the effects of the draining snow for about 3 hours.
However, since the blizzard started getting stronger around that time, we decided to retreat without pushing it.
But if it lasts for 3 hours, that’s more than enough.
We can soak in the hot spring to take a break and restore ourselves whenever the effect wears off.
That way, we can negate the effects of the draining snow and proceed again in perfect condition.
The effects of this hot spring should make our dungeon exploration a lot easier.
We can still go further ahead.
