The guys dug into the food.
The conversation kept getting more lively.
Most of the talk was about me.
The first time I met Lifia, Tifi, and Kéa, their beauty hit hard.
Their hair and skin glowed, giving off a fresh, clean scent.
The quality of the clothes they wore stood out.
Plus, the loyalty they showed me was something else.
The heroes brought their memories together, trading info and speaking on the potential of my skills.
’So, there must be something special about the skills, right?’
’Can anyone really be that loved for no reason? There’s definitely something more.’
’I mean, if they look that good, maybe the skill supports daily life in some way.’
Speculations flew one after another.
This is bad.
They’ve guessed pretty accurately about the powers of the Love Hotel.
I’m going to be stalked and targeted even more than before.
’Hey, the old dude’s in the third floor, right? Let’s go find him!’
At those words, the heroes around stirred.
’True, if we meet him here, we can hear what he has to say.’
’Should we just ask him straight?’
’Or should we maybe scare him a bit?’

The conversation was veering into dangerous territory.
I could hear some ominous words.

Lifia, who was listening to them through the wind, murmured quietly.
”Yeah, they’re going to cling to me even more now.”
I sighed, thinking about my next move.
If I use the door to the Love Hotel, I won’t be found, but that doesn’t solve the problem.
I should act, thinking it’s no longer possible to dodge this.
But if I meet them, I’ll be forced to provide the facilities and services of the Love Hotel.
My life would turn into serving them.

I need to get Tifi to stop working too.
Our relationship would be easy to find out with just a little digging.
They’d track it down in no time at the Adventurer’s Guild.

Kéa started talking about violent things too.

They’re honestly a pain, but even I have some basic info.
They’re strangers, but they’re still people from my hometown.

’But we don’t have to be rough, if we just ask nicely…’
’What are you talking about! He has been hiding this from us!’
’Yeah, how can he keep such a good thing all to himself and his lover!’
There are some negative opinions, but they get shot down right away.
You can’t have a monopoly on it, huh?

’Yeah, let’s find that old guy and shut him up. If his skills are what we expect, we’ll make him work for us!’

Looks like they’re planning to catch me.
No one’s listening to any other opinions.
Well, I’ll make my own preparations then.
I don’t wanna get my hands dirty, but I’ll make sure to steer them towards their own destruction.
If they’re coming for me, they’ll get what they deserve.

’Can’t tell from here… but judging by their size, I’d say it’s them.’

Found us, did they?
I can hear the sound of heroes standing up.
They’ll be here soon.
”Alright, let’s move out.”
”Yes!”
”Understood!”
But this might be a good chance.
The power of my skills will eventually be exposed.
But it’s better if it happens in the dungeon.
If I can weaken them here, it’ll clear my worries for the future.
We start walking as if we’re running away from them.
Our destination is the depths of the dungeon.
There are stronger monsters living there in droves.
While Lifia keeps an eye on the heroes’ movements, Kéa and I take out the monsters blocking our path one after another.
For us, who have already reached the 5th Floor of the dungeon, the monsters on the 3rd Floor are no big deal.
