Volume 4 Chapter 33 General Boris
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
One hour before the hostage exchange negotiation began, the remaining participants arrived by boat from the anchored ship. Before that, I had been flying a [fixed-wing drone]1, scouting the venue—the [Scripture Church]—from the sky.
It was the largest building in the city, situated exactly between the commercial district, where the port was located, and the residential area. Crowned with a distinctive blue dome and surrounded by symmetrical gardens, it was already occupied by groups of what appeared to be Turku soldiers stationed at key positions.
As I slowly orbited and attempted to lower the altitude, I felt a sense of unease regarding the port visible in the corner of my vision.
’What’s wrong?’
Sarah, who was sharing my visual feed, asked via telepathy.
’Just a little something.’
I raised the altitude of the [fixed-wing drone] to get the port back in view, searching for the source of my discomfort.
’Anything weird?’
Sarah kept asking, but I couldn’t provide an answer.
First, my eyes caught the merchant ships leaving the port, presumably prepared for departure. The topography of the Suez Canal was complex, and since almost no ships sailed at night, there shouldn’t have been any incoming vessels this early in the morning.
Small boats were arriving from the lush opposite shore; some were heading toward the anchored ships, while others were unloading crops onto the bank. I could also see other boats fishing off-shore.
I had never seen this scene before, but I didn’t get the feeling that anything was particularly wrong. What had caught my eye?
When I turned my gaze south, a fleet of Chinese-style junk ships was moving south along the shore of the brackish lake, which seemed out of place here. Perhaps they were returning to the east coast of the Central Continent, a journey that would take months. Small boats were approaching them, too, seemingly peddling goods.
Groups of Dhows were also sailing south, a bit further offshore. Even though their short masts were tilted forward, their trapezoidal sails grew narrower toward the front, giving the entire vessel a streamlined appearance.
’That’s enough. I want to see a little more of the [Scripture Church].’
As Sarah said this, I lowered the altitude.
’Maybe it’s just my imagination.’
’I don’t know what’s bothering you, but I heard there’s a lot of ship traffic at this time of day because of the wind.’
A sea breeze, even on a brackish lake? The temperature was certainly rising, and while we were near the water, I could feel the updrafts, which the surrounding birds were also using to their advantage. Since the Turku soldiers weren’t accustomed to |fixed-wing drones| and likely wouldn’t be able to identify it, I lowered the altitude to about fifty meters.
Then, as Sarah directed, I operated the [fixed-wing drone]. I mentally mapped the interior of the [Scripture Church] as I imagined it would look from above. Escape routes, temporary fallback positions, and effective impact points for the self-destructing [fixed-wing drone] in an emergency.
After a few minutes, I gained altitude again and examined the roads. Roads with many people and carriages, roads with few, wide roads, narrow roads. The shortest route to the merchant house. The retreat path if my Artillery Department acted as the rear guard. And routes to the shore where we might be able to recover carriages for “Tsukushi,” which functioned as a landing ship.
Suddenly, I noticed the sweat on Sarah’s hand, which was gripping my wrist, was unusually heavy.
’You okay?’
’Yeah, I hadn’t really slept with a man that much before.’
I raised an eyebrow at that. Hmm? It seemed that behind the stables of a large house we had just passed, there was a man rutting from behind a woman who looked like a maid, her hands pressed against the wall. The man was wearing fine clothes, likely the owner of the house or his son.
I just let it slide, thinking, ‘Doing it at this hour in the morning?’ But given what happened last night, it seemed Sarah had reacted to it.
’I’m going to retrieve the [fixed-wing drone], so let go.’
I pulled away from a slightly aroused Sarah and stood in the center of the garden. I reduced speed, lowered the altitude, and with a final gentle lift, caught the dangerous, dynamite-laden [fixed-wing drone] in my left hand.
Still… I remembered last night.
”You don’t need to hold back at all.”
Under the intense light of the Luminous Magic Iron, the Major sat in a corner of the room at the bar, said that, took out a silver glass, and started pouring wine without asking.
”I’ll have some, too.”
Chulpan also sat on a bar stool, and the two of them began to drink. Was I being ignored? What was I supposed to do?
”What are you doing? Just hurry up and get on with it.”
I had no idea what she meant. Get on with what, exactly?
Sarah Second Lieutenant was fidgeting. Don’t tell me she wanted me to do that right in front of the Major and Chulpan-san.
Come to think of it, back at the Golems Battalion quarters in the Royal Capital, when I was with Louise, the Major and Second Lieutenant Veronia had watched. But back then, the Major and Louise were already in the middle of it, and before I got with Louise, I’d had some minor touching with Second Lieutenant Veronia. It had felt like part of a four-person play, so I’d been able to go with the flow.
But even if they told me, ‘Look, we’re watching, so do it,’ that didn’t mean I could get it up.
”My, my, my. Is the boy embarrassed to be watched by Sarah Second Lieutenant? You were that inexperienced?”
That’s not it.
”It can’t be helped. Chulpan, do you have any olive oil?”
That sounded like a threat—as if to say that if I didn’t listen, they’d tie me up and toy with my anus.
”A-ah, I’ll take them off. I’ll take them off.”
When I had no choice but to start taking off my clothes myself, Sarah Second Lieutenant came over and helped me.
”Sarah Second Lieutenant. The boy loves to have it done with your mouth.”
She really had no problem spilling my sexual habits just like that.
Where did she get it from? She picked at some broiled eel or snake pieces while watching me with a look of amusement. I had heard that Sarah had almost no experience with men, so her actions after stripping me were clumsy.
The two Elf Mages used that as a topic of conversation, drinking while teasing Sarah Second Lieutenant.
It was pathetic. I wanted to be strong. I wanted to beat these demons, but right now, it was one hundred percent impossible. It couldn’t be helped; if it meant not having my anus poked, I couldn’t afford to worry about shame.
When I looked at Sarah Second Lieutenant, despite her being a tough-looking, reliable older sister type when we traveled through Rus together, she was as meek as a virgin when I held her.
If I used Mana-enhanced play here, I didn’t know what they might say later, and I couldn’t risk her becoming like Katarina, whose switch flipped at the slightest stimulation. I sealed my Mana and held Sarah Second Lieutenant.
Even if I sealed it, I couldn’t leave her unserviced. I carefully sucked on her exposed clitoris with varying intensity and inserted my fingers into her v**ina, which felt like it hadn’t been used in a while; it was as tight as a virgin’s. Even her voice was unexpectedly elegant, not the cry of a woman who wore those rattling Pia piercings.
Even in the sixty-nine position, she couldn’t reach for my member, just becoming a shy, stiff fish. It wasn’t a perverted act, just a very standard sexual encounter.
We started with standard missionary, separated halfway through, and finished from behind. Her breasts weren’t very large, so it was hard to see them from that position.
Midway, Sarah’s hands lost their strength; she buried her face in the bed from a crawl, and I finished by grabbing her protruding hips.
In my post-coital daze, I noticed the two Elf Mages were naked. Both had petite, loli-like builds, perhaps because they were young for Elf Mages.
The two of them smiled as they climbed onto the bed. It was a bit frightening.
It was a queen-sized bed in a rich man’s house, but it was a little cramped with four of us.
”You’re quite skilled in bed, aren’t you?”
Chulpan said this as she approached on all fours and looked up at me, then took my still-damp member between her fingers before opening her mouth wide and swallowing it.
’Heh, so you deliberately didn’t use your Mana. Not bad.’
Yeah, well.
Beyond that, the tiny Major was lifting Sarah up and kissing her lightly. Come to think of it, I had read on the internet in my previous life that she was a sadist, but was apparently gentle after she finished her intense torment. I wasn’t sure if that was true or not.
”Boy. Try putting it in me, too.”
I didn’t know why the Major had said that.
”You’re being called.”
Told that by Chulpan, I felt her finger press against my anus.
Eh, right now? I didn’t even think about refusing.
Even as our skin touched and I inserted myself, the Major’s consciousness was shielded against my Mind-reading, so I never found out why she had me do it.
Her tongue was smaller and firmer than I expected. Her n**ples were sensitive, and her clitoris was even more so. But that place wasn’t as tight as Sarah’s.
Consumed by fear, I felt that if I didn’t serve her, I was in danger. But if I clumsily used my Mana, I wouldn’t stand a chance if she retaliated with the Mana she possessed—several times mine.
I spent as much time as I could, serving her with my body and soul, and in the end, I finished inside her as she had wished.
”Having done it with the Major will be a boast for the rest of your life.”
Chulpan is right, but I have a feeling that if I told anyone I’d been with the Major, nobody would ever come near me.
”Oi, what are you spacing out for?”
Before I knew it, Kenze, who had come from the ship, tapped me on the back.
”It’s nothing. More importantly, isn’t it a bit early?”
”Not at all. Everything is on schedule. More importantly, are you okay? Did the Major ravage you?”
Man, I really hate an Amazoness with good intuition.
In the large dining room, we heard from the ship’s crew that they hadn’t been able to identify the Amazoness’s ship. Afterward, Sarah told everyone who had gathered what she had seen with the [fixed-wing drone] and explained the route for the retreat. Just then, Maria, who had been monitoring the Amazoness group last night, returned.
”The Amazoness came from the opposite shore of the brackish lake on barges. There is no girl who matches the description of Rosa.”
What was she saying?
”They are all horseback, passing the port and heading toward the [Scripture Church].”
No, no, no. There should have been people joining from the boats on the way. It had been confirmed that Rosa was kidnapped in the Duke’s estate’s territorial capital, escaped through the Empire of Charle, and made it to the Inland Sea from the Grimaldi Principality. Interrogations had clearly established that about a week ago, Francis, a Barbadia Pirate, had acted as a pilot on the ship carrying a girl thought to be Rosa, and that they had arrived at this port in Suez.
”Since they came from the opposite shore, there is a possibility they headed toward the Amazoness’s Nymphai Kingdom by land,” Group Leader Fredys remarked.
”Don’t panic!”
The Major snapped.
”Change the attendees for the negotiation. Larry, you be the representative. Take Kenze and Maria as guards. That is all.”
I blinked, stunned. Did she just say what I thought she said?
”The rest of you, return to your respective ships. I’m taking the crates containing my Type 98Golems and Sarah’s Type 95 Golems to the Scripture Church. The rest of you, along with the maintenance packs, get them onto the Black Ship.”
The crew members looked on, dumbfounded by the sheer scale of the order.
Some suggested leaving behind at least a small detachment of soldiers, but they were dismissed—labeled dead weight.
”Seriously, I’d really prefer to be heading back to the ship myself,” I muttered, my voice barely audible.
”Boy, come here,” the Major commanded, her tone sharp and military.
As the others got to work, I was called over and given a flurry of instructions.
”Listen well. Carry yourself with arrogance. If you let them swallow you whole, you’ll be killed,” she warned.
He was telling a sixteen-year-old boy to act big? What was this perverted Elf Mage trying to make me do?
After a crash course in how to survive, I was shipped off to the Scripture Church like livestock.2
’Remember: once you come out of the gate, take this horse and ride with Kenze to the harbor,’ she instructed.
She pointed to the horses pulling the carriage carrying the crates of Type 98Golems.
One was a tall, short-haired chestnut with a white blaze on its nose.
The other was a white and gray pinto; Major and Maria would be taking that one.
We disembarked at the gate leading into the grounds of the Scripture Church, where a man of imposing stature awaited us.
”Sonya the Major, I am honored by your presence,” the General stated with a formal bow.
It was the Mamluk General, Boris Niyazov.
He possessed a face that balanced the grim, hardened sharpness of a career soldier with a hidden, surprising softness.
”General, today’s representative isn’t me, but him. His name is Larry von Fee. Do see to it that he doesn’t die,” the Major said coolly.
The General fixed his gaze on me with eyes as innocent as an infant’s.
Right. Please, see to it I don’t die.
”Hoh. A name I feel I’ve heard somewhere before,” he mused.
He said this without ever moving his eyes from my face.
”Could you perhaps be the father of Lord Vook?”
Vook? Who the hell is that? I haven’t the faintest idea.
”You weren’t aware he was born? It’s the son of Ellie Bryachislavichi Fee-sama, the granddaughter of Frontier Count Pugachev.”
Ellie had given birth to a boy.
And to think she had him use my family name.
Maybe she just didn’t want him saddled with a name as troublesome as Bryachislavichi?
”I see. So you are the eccentric who toured the Rus regions ravaged by The Boltechino. Frontier Count Pugachev boasted of it himself: that his granddaughter had birthed the child of the century’s greatest eccentric.”
That fat pig Pugachev—he’d been calling me the century’s greatest eccentric?
Still, I couldn’t help but wonder why this General had any acquaintance with Frontier Count Pugachev.
My curiosity was piqued, but he turned his attention back to the Major.
”The Major, you intend to cause quite the stir. You are a troublesome woman.”
”I have little choice. The Rosa I seek is not here in Suez,” she replied flatly.
The General shot me a look that said, ‘There’s no helping it.’
”Fee-dono. A request, if I may.”
Being addressed by my surname felt fresh.
”What is it?” I asked.
”When you retreat, instruct your guards not to kill any of my men. If anyone dies, I will have no choice but to kill you.”
For the first time, the General’s gaze wasn’t that of a friendly acquaintance, but of a cold-blooded soldier.
The Amazoness are surely seasoned killers, and my bodyguard, Maria, is no amateur either.
The Major swears up and down that I’m safe, but how can I trust her? I was nearly killed by that insane woman already.
If anything, I’ll probably be the first one dead. Kenze, I’m counting on you.
”I will issue strict orders to that effect,” I promised.
I don’t know if I can actually keep that promise, but the sheer pressure radiating from the General left me no room to say anything else.
”Then, this way,” he directed.
In a covered gazebo at the center of the garden sat a group of Amazoness.
Disappointingly, they weren’t in bikini armor.
They wore loose, ankle-cinched harem pants and tunics that covered as much skin as possible, like desert travelers.
They weren’t looking at me or the Major, but at Kenze. They could sense her heritage, clearly.
The Major and Sarah remained behind, leaving the three of us—Kenze, Maria, and me—to enter the Scripture Church.
In the dim center of the dome stood a round table, where five Amazoness already sat waiting.
In the center sat a woman who looked strikingly like Princess Nikaure, with a blue gemstone sparkling at the end of a chain hanging against her forehead.
Next to her was a tall, black-skinned Amazoness. I felt like I’d seen her somewhere, but I couldn’t place it.
The General, acting as our mediator, thanked us for the arduous journey, expressed gratitude to the Turkic Empire for allowing both sides to sit at the table, and introduced the representatives.
The woman with the blue gem was Ade Saba. She was Nikaure’s older sister.
Given her proximity to the throne, they had sent someone of significant standing.
And it seemed she wasn’t happy about it.
”Schweilitz sends a brat like this? General, I cannot accept this. Why hasn’t the commander of the Magic Armored Division, Sonya, come herself?” Ade Saba demanded with a scowl.
Immediately after my introduction, Ade Saba began to complain.
”Please rest assured, Sonya the Major is waiting in the garden,” the General explained.
”Then why—are you saying I’m not worth her time?”
”That is not the case. This man, however, is the founder of the Fee Grand Principality, Larry von Fee-sama.”
That title I thought was useless for anything finally came in handy.
I wasn’t sure if she believed the General, but Ade Saba fell silent and took her seat.
”Very well. I understand you have something to discuss as the representative of the Kingdom of Schweilitz?”
The General nudged me to speak.
”Thank you. Ade Saba-sama, I have a question for you. My student, Rosa Schramm, has already left Suez, has she not?” I asked, keeping my voice steady.
Right. The Major told me not to play games and just get straight to the point, so I complied.
”Hoh. And what if she has?”
”In that case, we will use our latest flagship to pursue, capture, and recover Rosa.”
I stood up as I said it.
”The brat doesn’t seem to realize that if one crosses the brackish lake, one can return home via land (to Nyunpai),” Ade Saba spat out, mocking me.

But I had anticipated that kind of response; the Major had already told me exactly how to counter it.
”Hmph. If we can’t find her, we’ll just turn your capital into a sea of fire,” I declared.
Perhaps she knew of the Black Ship’s firepower, because the Amazoness leader’s face twisted in rage.
Though, that was basically the same as asking her to kill me.
If Kenze and Maria truly protected me with everything they had, there might be a non-zero chance of making it out of this building alive.
It wouldn’t be a high chance, though. Absolutely not. That black-skinned Amazoness looks ridiculously strong.
