I see, then there’s no need to worry.
I wave casually at the camera.
”Good morning, everyone! It’s Wednesday, midweek, and a day that can feel depressing, but are you all feeling good in front of your screens? Feeling like you don’t want to go to school or want to skip work? Here to boost your mood is BERYL’s Shirogane Aqua!”
By the way, I have school today too, but it’s online class, not going in person.
Come to think of it, today’s the day for Elena Nanahoshi’ foreign language class…
Damn, it’s a shame I can’t see those rocket-sized breasts in real life.
”By the way, have you guys ever tried monjayaki for breakfast? Probably not, right? But I think it’s actually a healthy choice for the morning. It’s low in fat, has lots of vegetables, and it’s quick to make. Sounds pretty appealing, doesn’t it? So today, we visited a monjayaki shop in Tsukishima early in the morning! Good morning, boss!”

But with this shot, you can see the shop’s sign, so viewers will quickly know where we’re filming.
I keep chatting with the owner while waiting for the monjayaki to cook in front of me.
”It looks delicious. Actually, I was filming until just now, so I’m starving.”
”Here you go, your order ── plain monjayaki with Shirogane Aqua toppings!”
The boss… running such a big shop, she’s definitely sharp.
That’s probably why she recommended additional toppings to me.
I explain the toppings I chose to the viewers watching at home.
”Huff huff… Mmm! Delicious! Yeah, the batter makes all the difference.”
I use my face and words to show everyone how tasty the monjayaki is.
’Aqua-kun, wish I could have some too… I want to eat monjayaki now…’
I soon thought of Kaede’s hungry face, and I couldn’t help but smile.
That’s what makes Kaede so great──she’s so straightforward and simple.
”Then, shall we do monja tomorrow? Kaede, don’t push yourself too hard at work.”
’Yay! Aqua-kun, don’t overdo it either!!’
I wonder… is it okay? It’s just normal couple talk from the morning… huh? Is this what viewers wanted? Ah, okay… I understand.
”Announcer Onidzuka, please make sure Kaede doesn’t push herself too hard.”
’Yes! Leave it to me!’
Onidzuka-sensei always looks out for Kaede and us, so I want to do something to thank her.
What would be good? Kanon just had a baby, so maybe ask Kohina-senpai or Emily──someone who looks free.
”Everyone, let’s have a good breakfast with me and get ready for school or work after! See you next time~!”
I wave at the camera at the end.
After the broadcast, I just ate a bunch of monja.
Because I was hungry!
”Thanks for today! Really, thank you!!”
”You’re welcome. Come back anytime.”
I wave to the staff of the restaurant and leave.
Wow! When I passed through the shop curtain and stepped outside the monja place, the neighbors must have noticed from the TV, because they hurried over.
”Aqua-kun, thanks for everything this morning!”
”Please come to my place next time too!”
”Ugh! That’s cheating, sneaking in first!”
”Aqua-sama, look this way~!”
I wave and smile back at everyone’s cheers.
We switch to the tour bus, heading to the next location, and I open an app on my tablet to take an online class.
Our tour bus then takes the highway from Tsukishima to avoid the morning rush and head out of Tokyo.
”Aqua-san, we’ve arrived at the destination.”
”Understood. Ah, thank you for driving!”
After about 3 hours on the tour bus and the third class just finished, I relaxed.
During my break, I step outside to check on the situation at the location shoot in Choshi City’s Byobu-ga-Ura.
”Whoa! This place is still amazing!”
I remember the time we came here for a Stars War shoot at Stars’ Dover.
Above all, this place holds fond memories from the filming of Heaven’s Sword.
I call out to Moja-san, who had arrived earlier to scout the location.
”The shoot starts a bit before sunset. Right now, Director Hongou is scoping out points with the camera, so take it easy until then. Oh, right, you had classes, didn’t you?”
Moja-san rustles his hair on top of his head, then gently taps my back.
”It’s good to see you’re eager, but don’t overdo it, okay? You won’t be much use if you collapse.”
”Yes. Thank you very much.”
I sincerely thank Moja-san and return to the location bus to attend online classes.
At lunchtime, I join Director Hongou, who’s returned from the location, and we all head out to eat seafood Donburi.
This is the charm of outdoor shoots, after all!
Enjoying camaraderie with the staff, even for a short while.
I manage to fit in meetings and confirmations between classes, and I finish all my afternoon classes online.
’Aqua-kun, work hard today!’
’You’ve just returned from Nagano, so please don’t push yourself too hard.’
’Yes, and if Aqua-kun collapses, we’ll all worry about you!’
”Thanks, Uruha, Lisa, and Kokona. Keep up the good work in your clubs.”
I wave to the 3 of them on camera.
And like that, I continue waving to everyone on camera.
’Aqua, I took notes just in case, so let me know if you need them later.’
”Thanks. Shintaro, and those glasses I borrowed from you really helped.”
Shintaro blushes and laughs at my words.
What is it? Just stay as you are, okay.
’Aqua, it’s a shame you couldn’t attend Nanahoshi-sensei’ class live today.’
”Huh? What do you mean?”
I divert my gaze from Toa and whistle.
Why did I get caught secretly looking at Elena-sensei’s rocket boobs!?
’Just so you know, Tsukimachi-san, Chihiro-san, and Sugita-sensei definitely noticed. I’m not sure about Nanahoshi-sensei…’
”No way… you’re joking?”
Damn it! Next time, I’ll be more careful about sneaking glances!
I honestly thank Toa for quietly telling me.
”Huh? By the way, where’s Ayana?”
’Tsukimachi-san left first, of course. She’d be embarrassed to get caught like that.’
Seriously…
I felt a little disappointed, but just imagining Ayana blushing and walking out of the classroom with a smug face made me feel really satisfied.
Thanks, Ayana. Even in my mind, you make me happy.
I turn off the online class app, change into the outfit prepared for the shoot, and step outside the van.
”What, finished the online class? You didn’t skip or zone out during the lesson, right?”
It’s this contrast from Ayana that gets me.
When I see Kohina-senpai waiting outside the van, I almost want to turn around.
”Come on, stop messing around and do the rehearsal before the sun sets!”
”Yeah, yeah. I get it.”
I follow a little behind, watching Kohina-senpai in her red dress, her profile sharp and beautiful.
Hmm, seeing her like this, she really is a true actress.
Kohina-senpai, Moja-san, and Director Hongou head to the spot where they’re waiting.
”So, we’ll do a quick rehearsal first, then film both the commercial and the music video for the song used in the commercial──are you okay with that?”
””Yes!””
This commercial is to promote the jewelry line I’ve contracted with Corolle.
When we finish rehearsal, women in suits with jewelry cases come closer.
”Don’t drop it no matter what.”
””Yes.””
The jewelry used in these commercials isn’t everyday stuff; most are one-of-a-kind pieces without a fixed price.
Me and Kohina-senpai were getting these women in suits with white gloves to put on jewelry worth, like, a *fortune* on us.
