*Clayd’s Perspective
The girl pushed me, and those ‘another world monsters’──started gathering again in front of me. They weren’t fully out of magic yet, so I pulled out another potion from my pouch. Opened it, swallowed it down, and let the magic heal me.
”Gah! I’ve never drunk this much magic potion in one day… Back when I was hunting monsters, I never took this much at once.”
I tossed the empty bottle aside. To boost my magic power from my stomach, I activated several Body Enhancement Magic spells, No Chant, all at once. Light filled my body as I made myself stronger.
”Magic’s fine, but I gotta remind Delprius that I’m good at martial arts too. The strongest man on the Demon Continent──that’s me.”
I activated Light Blade (Ray Blade) in both hands. Then, using Flying Wings, I dove into the pack of ‘another world monsters’ coming at me.
”Hey! You machine bastards! I am Sir Clayd, the strongest man on the Demon Continent! If anyone’s hurt on my body, I’ll praise you first──but I’ll kill you right after.”
I glared at the countless flying ‘another world monsters’ rushing toward me. Gripping the Light Blade tighter, I plunged into their midst.
”Here! This is my greeting! Take it!”
As I passed by, I extended my blade and sliced dozens of ‘another world monsters’ in half. The monsters burst apart in the blue sky, like brown stains spreading across the clear air.
Without a pause, the Light Blade on the other side extended its blade. He swung with all his might, and dozens more brown stains defiled the sky.
”Oraora! Is there anyone here who can take on Sir Clayd?!”
Even with their allies slaughtered, the ‘another world monsters’ showed no anger. They calmly rushed towards me, their designated target, and became the Light Blade’s victims, blossoming into ugly brown flowers in the air.
The Black Dragon Clan was herding the enemies from all sides, so the monsters were packed together in the center where I stood. Therefore, when I swung my Light Blade, the ‘another world monsters’ had little space to dodge and were sliced to pieces one after another.
”Weak! So weak! Pathetically weak!!”
The ‘another world monsters’, herded and packed together, were being slaughtered by my Light Blade, their numbers dwindling. Once I confirmed a sufficient number had gathered around me, I instructed the Black Dragon Clan to retreat.
”Good work driving them in! Get out of here quickly. I’m about to hit these guys with a huge blast. Hurry up, run at full speed! Don’t look back!”
With the retreat instructions given, the Black Dragon Clan turned on their heels. While dodging the attacks of the gathered ‘another world monsters’, I began assembling the incantation for the lost magic I learned from Flamil, Kent’s concubine.
”Oh, mana residing within me! Become a dance of shining blades, and destroy the enemies standing before me! ‘Shining Sword Dance’!!”
When the magic activated, a massive amount of mana flowed out of my body, and I felt fatigue. But in its place, hundreds of Light Blades appeared and began to slice the ‘another world monsters’ around me as if they had a will of their own.
”Hahaha! Yeah! Keep killing! I’ll use it to grow stronger! Who wants to get killed next?”
With hundreds of Light Blades (Ray-Blades) behind me, I charged straight into the crowded enemies, swinging wildly. They were cut apart one after another, exploding into pieces. The ‘another world monsters’ burst into a brown smoke cloud instantly.
”I’m strong! YES! No one can call me the ‘Strongest on the Demon Continent’ now! Dee! Did you see my fight? Did you see how awesome I am?”
After wiping out the surrounding ‘another world monsters’, I turned to Dee with a proud smile.
”Phew. Father is such a fool. Only you could use magic like that. Even Flamil, who taught you, was holding back laughter. That magic is so savage that even Fortesia, the first True Demon King accused of slaughter, hesitated to use it. But… maybe it’s the most efficient attack magic against ‘another world monsters’.”
I were full of confidence, looking over at my daughter.
But it seems she doesn’t like how I fights at all.
