Iska had just turned into a small leopard. She was about to carry Milly to escape, but Milly seemed unsure. She looked at me and wondered if she should really leave.
”Go! I’ll be right behind you!”
”Really? You’ll really come, right? You won’t just stay here, will you?”
”No way! The only place I’ll die is on the bed of Abyss Vena! Go ahead and wait for me!”
”Kent!! You idiot!! Stupid!! But I love you!! I’ll be waiting!!”
Milly, with tears and a small smile, made up her mind. She left through the gate, which was now very narrow.
’I’ll let you escape… I hope they suffer like me…’
”Annoying people are hated, you know.”
’Nnnngggggggggggg!!’
After making sure Milly was gone, I finished off the fake human tangled at my feet. I used all my remaining magic in my sword, which was stuck in the ground. It completely destroyed the fake, leaving nothing behind.
After the magic was gone and the fake disappeared, the gate closed completely. I was left behind. My magic was almost empty, and my special sword vanished because there was no magic left.
It felt like the end had come. Maybe I went too far. Maybe this is punishment for an old man who had fun with young, beautiful people in another world. But I wanted more fun with everyone. I wanted to flirt more. Ahh, it’s frustrating. Now I really wish I could be with Milly.
Sorry, Milly. I’m going to break our promise, but don’t be mad when we meet again. I’m really sorry. I’m sorry for being a husband who can’t keep his word.
Darkness was taking over, swallowing my body. Time felt still, and I thought I’d be lost in this empty space forever. Then, I heard a voice behind me.
”…Everyone… do your best… Kent isn’t… he’s not dead yet… That lewd monkey will keep his promise to be with Elder Sister.”
The voice was Lina’s. It sounded like a dream, but it was definitely Lina Dorman’s voice.
”I’ll borrow a little magic from everyone here. To save Kent, I’ll open a short-term gate to another world (Abyss Gate)!!”
Opening an Abyss Gate is impossible… Lina said opening and closing space needs a lot of magic power.
I was shocked by Lina’s words, even as my mind was fading. If she does this without enough magic, she might lose her life.
”You can use all my magic if you want. Use it.”
”I’ll give mine too. If we share magic, we might open it a little.”
”For our god, we must help. Those who want to save the god, offer your prayers.”
”We can’t leave King Kent! The Margrave South District army will help Lady Lina.”
”If Kent disappears, no one can use me properly. That’s a problem. Everyone, give your magic until you can’t anymore. I’ll do it too.”
It seemed like everyone was trying hard to save me, but time was running out. The darkness was closing in, and my body was being swallowed. My mind was fading away.

Boing, boing.
Something soft was on my head.
”I’m so glad.”
Warm drops of water fell on my head, plop, plop. I opened my eyes a little. It wasn’t the dark, empty world anymore. It was the clear blue sky of Grimoire, where I lived with Milly and the others.
It seemed I was saved just in time. I was worried about my body, so I looked down a bit.
There it was. My body. Young, slim, and fit. But, I was completely naked. Being naked isn’t bad, but this situation is embarrassing. I’d rather not be seen like this.
”Uhm, Ms. Milly… Could you give me something to cover up with?”
Milly looked at me, then at the problem. She understood and laughed. She told the girls around her loudly.
”All right, we’re having a victory celebration now. Kent’s going to turn into a beast and attack us! Come on, everyone, take off your clothes!”
”Wai, wai, wait!! Ms. Milly? Millyyyy!”
”Kent! Why are you like that in such a place?!”
”Mr. Kent, you can do it with Feria and IneIne’s help right away~”
”Sir Kent, do you want to do it before or during the meal?”
Everyone laughed at the chaos. Milly started taking off her clothes, Lina kicked me while I was naked, Feria and Ines offered their help, and Annabella quietly took off her underwear while preparing the meal.
