The soft rustling of the tent filled the air as I tried to calm my racing heart. A damp feeling lingered, making me feel even warmer.
Kent, Kent, Kent… I love you so much… You’re my dearest master…
Looking at Kent’s peaceful sleeping face, my heart fluttered. I gently moved closer, feeling his warmth beside me. He was so close, it made my heart race.
…Ahh… it’s so comforting…
I covered my mouth to stay quiet, but every time I felt his presence, my heart skipped a beat.
”U, uhn… Milly… don’t worry… mumble.”
Kent started to stir. I panicked and hugged myself tightly.
”Mmmmm, mmmmm, mmmmm.”
He mumbled in his sleep and settled back into a soft snore. I was relieved but still shaky from the emotions.
…I almost woke him, but it felt so nice… Kent, I’m sorry… I’m sorry for being so clingy… If you knew, you’d think I’m too much… I should calm down now…
After calming down, I tried to pull away, but Kent’s hand gently held my waist.
”Milly… it’s okay… stay close… mumble mumble…”
His body moved slightly, still in sleep. Then, still holding me, he snuggled closer.
”Kent!? Mmmmm, mmmmmmm!”
The sudden warmth made my heart race, and I felt a rush of those. Kent, half-asleep, kept holding me tightly.
”Wait, stop. Mmmmmmm, I’m too… I’m already!”
I covered my mouth to stay quiet, but it felt too good, and my smile slipped out. Kent wasn’t fully awake but kept cuddling, and I was at his mercy.
…Nooo… if this keeps up, Kent will wake up… I need to calm down… but it feels so good I can’t move…
I gave in to the warmth. Then, his grip tightened, and he held me even closer.
”Mmmmmmm… mmmmm.”
I tried to stay quiet, but at that moment, I felt a wave of happiness, and everything felt perfect.

When I woke up, I was leaning on Kent’s chest, listening to his steady heartbeat.
…I can’t imagine life without Kent… with such a wonderful master, I’m the happiest…
Feeling his warmth, I tried to rest, but I didn’t want him to feel uncomfortable later. So, I forced myself up, tidied everything quietly, and made sure nothing seemed out of place.
…Kent must never know about my clinginess… it’s my little secret… if he thinks I’m just too much, I’ll be sad…
After tidying, I changed into fresh clothes, still feeling warm from earlier. I covered any signs of my restlessness with a cloth and wore my outfit. Then, I lay beside Kent, cuddling close.

*Kent’s perspective
When I woke up, I checked my surroundings. Last night, I had a vivid dream about Milly and was worried I’d disturbed her.
”Phew, no trouble… I’m young, so I thought I might have been too restless… It’d be embarrassing if Milly noticed.”
Milly slept peacefully beside me, looking so kind. I still couldn’t believe she was mine. She’s not just kind but also great at everything—way better than me.
”But I’ve already been so lucky to have Milly… I’m not virgin anymore… I can’t do something so thoughtless… It’d hurt Milly too.”
I regretted being too clingy before. I promised to be more considerate, but seeing her sleep was too tempting for me now.
…So tempting… Milly… No, I must hold back… I can’t break my promise…
Her presence was right there, and I was losing control.
…Her smile is so warm… Milly is too wonderful…
I held my hands to stop myself from reaching out. My mind was a mess.
…No good. If I touch her now, I’ll lose it again. She’ll feel uncomfortable… Hold on, me!
”Huuuuuuuh!!!”
I looked away, took a deep breath, and stood up.
”U-uhh~~. Oh, you’re awake? I wish you’d woken me up.”
My deep breath woke Milly. She looked half-asleep.
”Kent, are you okay? You walked a lot yesterday. Was it hard?”
Milly looked worried.
”No, my legs feel better. No pain at all.”
”Y-yeah. Good it’s better… We’re heading to Abyss Vena today, so let’s eat and go.”
Fully awake, Milly told us the plan. We’d reach Abyss Vena, our goal, in one day.
After breakfast, we left for Abyss Vena, the big city in the South District.
