”We begin the operation now.”
I declare solemnly in the grove, a little distance from the plains where the battle rages.
Already, the enemy lure attack had begun, with Garvey’s Estfort Army, Bruyne’s ‘Red Devil’, Ludmila’s ‘Black Wing’, and other mid-level Hunting Groups participating.
I had given them Instructions to draw the enemy away from their defensive positions as much as possible.
And, it was succeeding.
Not only were they luring the monsters from the outer perimeter, but they had even pulled out Small-sized ‘another world monster’ from the second layer.
Seeing this as a chance, I signal the assault force to begin the operation.
Chosen for the assault force were 8 from ‘Crimson Bride’: Lina, Lana, Aurelia, Giuliana, Talia, Feria, Ines, and Milly; 24 from the 3 teams of ‘Black Bullet’; 24 from the 3 parties of ‘Golden Apostles’; 40 from the 5 parties of ‘Hand of Glory’; and 64 from the 8 parties of ‘Silver Wolf’.
The total force was 100 and 60.
With the start of the operation, the 100 and 60-member assault team, with me at the head, entered the tunnel.
The previous day, I had already dug about halfway through using Creation of the Universe.
To conserve magic, the underground tunnel was only wide enough for one person to pass through.
After a brisk walk of about ten minutes, we reached the place we dug yesterday.
The underground of Felward had no water source nearby, and there were no large rocks, so the stratum was very easy to dig.
”Alright, let’s dig straight to the enemy’s base. I’ll leave the tunnel reinforcement to you all.”
”Yes, leave the reinforcement to us.”
Milly took on the reinforcement task.
And I cast Creation of the Universe with No Chant.

Milly and the others reinforced the newly dug tunnel with wood.
After digging about 2 hundred meters, we reached our destination──the habitat of the predation tentacles.
The moment we emerged above ground, several beast monster larvae demon ogres attacked us.
The Demon ogres looked just like the regular ogres, but their skin tone had changed from reddish bronze to blackish-brown, and their attack power and physical strength were raised to the same level as Dragonia.
”Wah! Is this an abrupt baptism?”
I thrust my spear at the Demon ogre that lunged at me.
The spear’s tip pierced the Demon ogre’s chest.
However, the Demon ogre didn’t die even after being pierced and approached me, spear still sticking from its chest.
”Seriously? It won’t die from this? What kind of vitality is this!?”
I was panicking at the sight of the Demon ogre that wouldn’t die even when pierced.
I released my spear and unleashed Fire Arrow without a chant.
The Fire Arrow pierced the face of the Demon ogre that was closing in on me, but it only managed to halt its movement briefly.
”Kent, leave it to me!”
Upon hearing Milly’s voice, the Demon ogre’s head jerked up, and black magic elements surged upward like a torrent.
”Don’t let your guard down. These things are equivalent to beast monsters, you know. It’s better not to think you can die easily. You’ll need to either behead them or cut them up into tiny pieces that can’t regenerate, or you won’t be able to defeat them.”
”Ah, thank you. I’ll take care.”
I tremble as I pull out the spear from the body of the quivering Demon Ogre.
Behind us, the Monster Hunters who had exited the tunnel started their battle with the Demon Ogre.
”Alright, just as planned, we’ll leave the young beast monsters and the medium-sized ‘another world monsters’ to the ‘Golden Apostles’ and the ‘Silver Wolf,’ and my Hunting Group along with Mr. Soumei’s ‘Hand of Glory’ will destroy the predation tentacles.”
”Yo.”
Following the instructions, we left the battle with the Demon Ogre to Matthew and Hendric, and we charged into the colony of predation tentacles ahead.

”This is, terrible…”
What leapt into my view upon reaching the colony was the tragic figure of a female ogre that had been absorbed by the predation tentacles.
The female ogre had been violated by the poisonous pink tentacles, inserting themselves into her orifices, bloating her belly to an impossible size.
Moreover, a newly born Demon Ogre was suckling at her breasts.
And, perhaps due to some sort of aphrodisiac in the tentacles, the female ogre’s face was adorned with an expression of rapture.
”…The predation tentacles are a rare ‘another world monster’ only confirmed to inhabit the Southern Region’s hinterland and the areas around the gates, and they are considered extremely dangerous due to their high reproductive ability.”
”Is the ogre that got absorbed by that thing dead?”
”Once absorbed by the predation tentacles, you’re violated by the inserted tentacles, drugged into a state of bliss, and your sense of self collapses, turning you into a meat hole for breeding beast monsters. …We can say that female ogre is already dead.”
Soumei informed us of the status of the absorbed female ogre.
She had already been destroyed by the aphrodisiac and turned into an organ for breeding beast monsters.
When I was in my previous world, I played some tentacle hentai games, but seeing it in reality is pretty disgusting.
”Aagaga! Gyiiiiiiii”

Milly urged the start of the subjugation with a cold voice, seemingly disgusted by the act she had just witnessed.
It seemed that she, and perhaps all the women participating in the subjugation of the predatory tentacles, felt revulsion.
”Yeah, these guys are unforgivable. We’ll annihilate them thoroughly. Not a single one will escape; we’ll turn them to ash.”
”…The girls should be careful not to get eaten. The predatory tentacles only target females. Avoid close combat.”
”Understood. ‘Black Bullet’, move forward! Milly, Ines, Feria, Aurelia, repel the approaching Demon ogres! Lina and Mr. Soumei, magic attacks! Lana, deploy the barrier shield! Talia and the Healers, prepare for casualty care! Once you’re in position, you’re clear to engage!”
The assault team, having received their instructions, scattered to their respective positions and began to fight.
The predatory tentacles seemed to have recognized the intruders and started to attack nearby Demon ogres and attempt to devour members with their own tentacles.
”Kent! AK-MK02 (Meat Chopper) installation complete!”
”Permission to fire at will! Give them a thorough beating!”
In front of me, the sound of a motor roared, and a series of flashes (Muzzle Flash) illuminated.
It was the gunfire of the AK-MK02 (Meat Chopper) that ‘Black Bullet’ had brought in and set up.
In an instant, numerous wind holes open in the body of the predatory tentacles.
However, the holes are immediately sealed up.
”Kent! It seems like gunfire isn’t effective against it!”
Kerstin reports anxiously.
”Use explosive rounds! Blow it away! Get the Demon Ogre close to the AK-MK02 (Meat Chopper)!”
”Kerstin! I’ll blow it away! Left Hand with fire! Right Hand with light! Fuse the two magic elements (Mana)! Become a powerful blast flame and burn everything to ashes! Blaze Explosion (Blaze Explosion)!”
Seeing that gunfire was ineffective, Lina quickly unleashed her fire attribute combination magic──Blaze Explosion (Blaze Explosion).
The magic that hit began to burn explosively, immediately carbonizing the nearby Demon Ogre and also spread to the predatory tentacles, beginning to melt them.
”Magic works. I’m going in!”
”…Indeed, we must not fall behind Lady Lina. Show Kent the magic of the ‘Hand of Glory’!”
At Soumei’s instructions, the magicians of the Hand of Glory began to chant their specialized attribute magic, unleashing various magics towards the predatory tentacles.
Some released beams of pure magical power, others froze the tentacles with ice magic, and still others drove massive spears of stone from the ground to pierce the tentacles.
”Oh, as expected of the ‘Hand of Glory’ said to be among the best in magic. But the enemy is also targeting us with desperation. Kerstin, get the Demon Ogre close!”
The predation tentacles had suffered significant damage due to magic and were controlling nearly 3 hundred Demon ogres, rushing toward the source of the attack, ‘Hand of Glory.’
It had already been many days since they started their predation, so the number of Demon ogres was close to 3 hundred.
That group was blocked as if they hit an invisible wall created by Lana’s Create Barrier.
”Mr. Kent. I’m putting up a barrier for now, but it’s just a temporary relief against the power of the Demon ogres.”
”That’s enough. Thank you, Lana. Leave the predation tentacles to Mr. Soumei, and we’ll take care of the Demon ogres.”
As I declared this, Aurelia dashed outside the barrier.
”Lord Kent, I will let my blade drink deeply of the beast monster’s blood. Hehe.”
Aurelia unfurled her 4 arms and grasped her 3 beloved swords, cutting off the limbs and heads of the Demon ogres attacking the barrier.
The Demon ogres were thrown into confusion by Aurelia’s sudden appearance and took her attacks head-on.
”Just as I thought, they are just the young of beast monsters. They’re tough, and their recovery ability is off the charts… I shall get serious as well. Gather, magic elements (Mana)! Lend me your strength! ‘Mighty Strength!’”
Aurelia chanted the Body Enhancement Magic to enhance her physical abilities, enveloping herself in a red light.
”Take this! Sword Flash triple strike!”
The sword energy unleashed from each of Aurelia’s blades sliced through the group of Demon ogres.
Aurelia had grown to the point where she could fight on par with Milly in personal combat.
Moreover, having been idle and completing the subjugation quest, she had rapidly risen to become the first A-class Hunter among the Crimson Bride.
”Aurelia is taking all the good stuff～. Ludge! Come on!”
Responding to Feria’s shout, Ludge, Feria’s Dragonewt mount──an Eastern-type──appeared in the sky.
”I’m coming too! Flandre!”
Ines also mounts Flandre, her Dragonewt mount──a Western-type.
Once the two are mounted on their Dragonewts, they charged toward the horde of Demon Ogres with low-altitude flight.
And then, they cut down the Demon Ogres one after another.
”[Maid Dragon] has no blind spots～. I want to finish them off quickly and get a big reward from Mr. Kent!”
”Master, your desires are spilling from your mouth. You must restrain yourself, or you will receive a scolding from Lady Miriallia or Lady Annabella.”
Because Ludge, Feria’s Dragonewt mount, is very rational and controls the reins of his runaway master, the dangerous Charges are decreasing, and I am relieved.
”Hey hey. IneIne. Let’s fight some more! My claws are twitching, wanting to rip the enemy to shreds!”
”Whoa, wait. Flandre, calm down! There’s no point in us rushing ahead alone!”
Ines’s mount, Flandre, in contrast to Ludge, had a rather aggressive personality and was a Dragonewt that fought in an aggressive manner.
Thus, it was helpful in drawing the hesitant Ines to the center of the battlefield.
I also thought they were a good combo, one way or another.
After the two passed, many Demon Ogres with their limbs torn apart were rolling on the ground.
”I suppose I shall rampage again after a long interval, though they take the form of my kin, their ugliness is nothing like ours.”
Giuliana swung her great hammer, fighting as if crushing the heads of the Demon Ogres like ripe tomatoes.
The appearance of beings resembling her kin seemed to bother her greatly; she clicked her tongue, something she would never usually do.
”Giuliana’s fired up too. I’ll get my share too.”
Saying that, I activated the Explode Gunlance’s firing mode.
As the spear tip broke and the barrel extended, the shield firmly fixed itself to the ground like a gunner’s mount.
Along with that, the barrel began to condense the surrounding magic element.
”Alright! I’m going to sweep away everything, including the Predation Tentacles, so everyone, take cover! Countdown 5…4…3…2…”
As I began the countdown while charging the magic element, Milly and the others, who were fighting the Demon Ogre right in front of me, started to retreat.
Kerstin’s Black Bullet also moved out of the line of fire and got behind me.
”1…0! Fire!”
When I pulled the trigger, a massive black orb was released from the barrel.
Originally, being in a region with a high concentration of magic element, combined with the extensive use of magic in the previous battle, it resulted in a highly concentrated shot.
The released black sphere emitted a flash of lightning and instantly drained the magic element from any Demon Ogre it touched.
In its wake, only faint human shapes remained on the ground.
”Whoa, that was intense. Maybe too powerful…”
The sphere, having absorbed dozens of Demon Ogres, eventually struck the center of the Predation Tentacle’s habitat.
Upon contact with the ground, the sphere scattered brilliant light all around.
A moment later, a loud explosion and a crushing wind slammed against my cheeks and ears.
”””Whoa”””
A murmur arose from those participating in the battle.
At the impact site, a large crater formed, and a mushroom cloud rose, with the surrounding Predation Tentacles vanishing without a trace.
”…Now! Let’s crush the remaining Predation Tentacles! Pour in all the magic power you’ve got! There are less than ten left.”
Soumei gave chase orders to the magic unit.
Thanks to my bombardment, a considerable number had evaporated, securing our advantage.
”Kent! We have a message from Matthew and Hendric! It seems the enemy has noticed our attack and is about to launch a fierce counter-assault! If we don’t hurry, we might not be able to retreat. We don’t have much time to secure an escape route!”
Oh no, the enemy is coming back… and we have very little time to hold the entrance to the retreat route──the Dearu Tunnel… If we mistime our withdrawal, we’ll be wiped out…
Milly’s report makes me hesitate to give the order to continue the attack.
”…Should we regroup…”
