”Well then, shall we go?”
”Yes,” Mana said.
”Yeah!” Minami-chan added.
”Right,” Haruka-san agreed.
After we had thoroughly-and I mean thoroughly-relieved that irritating, restless itch in our rectums caused by the side effects of the Anal Pressure Point¹, we finally stepped onto the second floor of the Phase Three dungeon.
The second floor appeared to be a cavern-style level, but we were immediately met by a three-way fork in the road. One was a path of fire where the ground, walls, and ceiling were all roaring with flames. Another was a path that proceeded through a half-submerged, underwater route. The final one was an ordinary, nondescript cave that seemed to just stretch on forever.
”That being the case, let’s break through here…”
As she spoke, Mana pointed toward the Path of Flames, which looked like the most grueling route of the three. Taking a path like that seemed like a one-way ticket to severe burns, but she seemed confident.
”We likely have an 80% damage reduction from the Buttocks Pressure Point, and a 40% damage reduction from the Portio-Rod Type Pressure Point²,” Mana explained. “While they don’t simply add up to a 120% reduction, with our current status, we shouldn’t take much damage even if we head down this most difficult path. My only concern is Kanade-kun, but since he has the Pressure Point Reflection³ effect from the three of us, plus his Black Anaconda Suit, he should be fine.”
”Yeah… for now, I’ll give it a try,” I said.
I tentatively took my first step into the cave of flames. Inside, since we were essentially being roasted by fire, it was certainly hot. It was scorching, but if you asked me if my body was actually taking massive damage, it didn’t feel that way.
”Yeah, I can feel a little damage getting through, but it doesn’t feel like my health is dropping much,” I reported. “It looks like we can make it through just fine.”
When I said that, Mana, Minami-chan, and Haruka-san followed me into the Path of Flames.
”It is no problem for me at all,” Mana said.
”Minami is totally fine too!” Minami-chan chirped.
”I don’t seem to have any issues either,” Haruka-san added.
With that, we charged straight into the path of fire, running as fast as we could. Occasionally, fire-birds or fire-lizards would lunge at us, but for a Phase Three dungeon, their strength didn’t seem like much. They were sent soaring by Mana’s fists, carved to pieces by Minami-chan’s two-handed sword, or pulverized by Haruka-san’s mace.
”This floor must be focused primarily on traps,” Mana observed. “The monsters themselves aren’t much to worry about.”
”I see,” I replied. “In that case, let’s just keep pushing forward.”
Without stopping for the monsters, we sprinted through the blazing corridor. At times, massive pillars of fire erupted from the walls, or traps like flaming ropes tried to entangle us, but our damage reduction held firm. We cooperated to shake off the fire ropes and continued deeper. Eventually, we came across a spot where the flames were a bit weaker.
”As I thought, there is a treasure chest,” Mana said. “But there will be traps, and since Rin-sensei isn’t with us, shall we give up on it for now?”
”About that… maybe we can use this?”
I pulled out that Golden Tanuki’s testicle… I mean, the Black Ball⁴. Since it can be used as a storage device, I had secretly packed it with medicine, food, and spare equipment for this dungeon crawl.
”Ah… that might actually work,” Mana said.
Normally, carrying a heavy treasure chest back is out of the question. The standard rule is: if a party member can open it on the spot, you open it; if not, you leave it. But…
(Store…)
”Whoa! It worked!” I shouted.
”Incredible! We can actually take the treasure chest back with us!” Minami-chan cheered. “Once we get back, Rin-sensei can use Appraisal⁵ to tell us how to open it. This is so convenient!”
”True,” Haruka-san agreed. “Treasure chest traps are often vicious, but the loot inside is usually just as good to compensate.”
The treasure chests in this dungeon were what you might call ‘Dungeon Explorer Killers.’ The items inside were genuinely high-quality, but the risk involved in opening them was astronomical.
If a party didn’t have a member with an Appraisal-type Job like Rin-sensei, or someone who could disarm traps, opening one was a death wish. In that sense, being able to haul the entire chest away using the Black Ball was a massive game-changer.
”Alright, let’s keep going!” I urged. “I’m worried about Maria-san and the others, so let’s hurry!”
”Yes!” Mana said.
”Yeah!” Minami-chan shouted.
”Right!” Haruka-san added.
We dove back into the path of roaring flames and sped onward. Just as Mana had predicted, this dangerous Path of Flames acted as a shortcut to the third floor. We soon broke through the end of the fire, and there, waiting for us, were the stairs leading down to the third floor.

• Mana – A bespectacled Sage and Four Heavenly Kings member with a black ponytail and immaculate armor, serves as the protagonist’s mentor in combat and intimate relief. She is joined by a composed, pragmatic strategist in a glossy black bodysuit. Both are Dungeon Energy Masters; while Kanade provides restorative support, her partner acts as the party’s tactical lead and heavy hitter, using raw strength to crush foes. Former class president.
• Minami – A cheerful blue haired twintail loli member of the party who utilizes a two-handed sword in combat. She exhibits high energy and enthusiasm during dungeon exploration. A combatant characterized by her extreme speed and agility. She utilizes twin blades to slice through enemies, often acting as the party’s primary vanguard to hobble faster monsters like Baby Fenrirs. A member of the party who is supportive of Maria joining the group. She uses the nickname ‘Maria-chi’ for her friend.
• Haruka – ‘The Prince,’ is an androgynous, busty short-haired 3rd-floor Holy Priest wielding a mace and Divine Magic. While she maintains a composed, cautious, and supportive role in the party, her modest exterior hides severe burn scars, a masochistic streak, and a trauma-linked obsession with Hirosawa’s scent. Mana’s close friend and Kosaka’s stalking target, she struggles to balance duty with fractured self-control.
• Kanade – A calm, analytical academy student and high-ranking adventurer, leads the party Resonant Melody as a Vital Point Practitioner. Wielding the Lizard Fang Sword, a Pressure Point Gun, and the Black Ball storage item, he uses precise pressure-point manipulation to heal, buff, and control combat. Clad in a Black Anaconda Suit, he is deeply devoted to his companions, especially Minami.
• Rin – Rin‑sensei, a mature academy instructor, wears a crisp white lab coat over a turtleneck, her trademark large chest concealed by modest attire. She has inverted nipples and prominent areolas, a seductive yet maternal aura, and sharp Appraisal skill. As mentor of team ‘The Melody Played (by Kanade)’, she first uncovered Kanade’s hidden powers, flustering him with confident allure.
• Maria – A blonde, tanned B-rank adventurer and “Four Heavenly King,” is known as “Boob Gal” for her exceptionally large chest and tiger-print bikini attire. As the tank for team Headlong into Gyaru, she possesses high durability despite losing an arm to a Black Anaconda. Currently recovering from her injuries, she experiences intense vulnerability and develops romantic feelings for her healer, Kanade.
