”The other day, the Grand Council of Crotopone Kingdom decided. Klock Livorno is guilty of treason. You, arrested, will be moved as a death row prisoner. Your execution will come soon.”
”…What did you say?”
Tiet, a young knight, spoke with cold words.
Treason? What was she talking about?
”The highest crime means fast punishment. You have lost your rights. Denying the charges is not allowed. Execution comes first. We won’t kill you here. But after moving you to the capital, you will be executed quickly.”
”…W-wait. How did this happen?”
”Don’t waste time with complaints. The kingdom respects the hero. That is all I can say.”
She muttered, mouth open. The kingdom respected the hero — I knew that well. Soldiers from the capital had been moved for her. But to say it so clearly…
They were trying to cover up murder with lies to please the hero. Whether she wanted revenge or not, Idid not know. But to them, making the hero happy was all that mattered.
”This is one big lie.”
”Heh. Yeah.”
Was it shock or sadness? Hard to tell. For a common thief like me, the kingdom and hero made a big fuss. I was used to many things, but this strange care made me laugh quietly. That woman was set on killing me no matter what.
”…By the way, what have you been doing? How long will you keep touching it?”
I felt sad. But the girl acted light and calm. Since I woke up, she had been holding and touching me in a strange way. Her eyes showed clear curiosity.
She played with prisoners.
Though young, she was well raised.
When people stand for justice, they punish evil without mercy. This girl did justice. The criminal was caught and beaten. Now, I was just waiting to be moved for execution. But it would not be simple.
Still holding me, the girl looked at Klock like she had power over me. I was angry and stared back.
She stood. I turned away fast, but she stepped on my foot.
”…!”
”Oh, sorry.”
She said it like an accident. But she pressed down hard with her heavy boot.
”…You, prisoner abuse? Do you think a knight of the hero’s party can do this?”
”…No way. That would never happen.”
She narrowed her eyes and smiled with a cruel face.
”But you have no right. In this country, you can do anything you want to Klock Livorno. You have no human rights. You have no right to refuse or complain no matter what anyone does to you. You’re like a weed on the side of the road.”
”…That’s a harsh joke.”
”You better please me if you want to live longer.”
Tiet grinned, showing a mean smile. She smiled while looking down on me. So this is what being with the hero means.
Prisoners are usually toys for soldiers. Punishment means soldiers can do anything. For example, a female thief is caught and waits for hanging. Every day, soldiers use her for their pleasure. It is called justice. No matter what they do, it is justice. So soldiers feel proud to punish. They visit the cell often.
But what about men?
Of course, they don’t walk straight to the execution platform.
Tiet’s young face twisted with cruelty. She stood close to me. Leaning against the wall, I saw the girl’s body move near my face.
”…It stinks.”
She pushed her body close to my face. She did not hide what she wanted. Even when called smelly, she did not feel shy.
But her eyes shined with desire. Seeing my dislike, she only grew more excited.
Tiet pulled down her shorts and underwear to her knees. I turned away, but she showed herself clearly.
The strong smell of a woman filled the air.
