Volume 11 Chapter 6 The Hellish Girls’ Gathering of Heteromorphic Maidens ~The Lewd Sing-Along Talk Edition~

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

The scene was a house in Orrid, in a salon where wooden planks—not even curtains—had been nailed over the windows to keep out the sunlight.

It was a human town, a city street, and until just a few days ago, this place had been in a state of war. Now it bustled with unfamiliar faces.

”Pretty generous of them to lend us a whole mansion, don’tcha think?” Alice said.

”Like humans in high society are ever that nice.” Viola said.

”We did drive off the Demon Lord’s Army with the Beast Country forces, after all. The Orrid council could hardly afford not to treat us well.” Kispe said.

”Ohhh, so it’s ’cause we beat the crap out of VioVio?” Alice asked.

”Yeah, ‘cept Alice and the others got their asses kicked right before that, too.” Viola said.

”Heheh. Don’t pout like that, darling. You’ll spoil the flavor of your lovely sandwiches.” Kispe chuckled.

 A demon girl chuckled softly.

Lined up across the table before them was today’s lunch.

Sandwiches—thin bread layered with cheese and ham.

On plates speared with forks, hand-kneaded pasta coated in rich tomato sauce.

On a three-tiered stand, sweets packed tight with chocolate and nuts—even the after-meal treats had already been prepared.

 ”So, Kupira.” Kispe said.

Kispe shot a glance her way.

At the girls’ gathering were Kispe, Alice, Viola, Rugandia, and Linaria.

And then there was the newcomer who’d just joined the group the other day—a pure-white fairy in a black dress.

All five pairs of eyes turned to her at once.

”Why did you go by a fake name like ‘Kupu’? If you can even call it a fake name, that is.” Kispe asked.

”Haha, well, it’s a little embarrassing that my brilliant scheme got uncovered so fast.” Kupira laughed.

”Extracting a spiritual body and having it act independently like a separate creature is interesting enough on its own, but using it to get married in your place? That’s a pretty wild idea.” Alice said.

”So that little girl was your separated spiritual body. And you swapped places with her—you’re the real one. What was the point of all that?” Rugandia asked.

”Yeah! Rugandia’s right! What’re you trying to pull, you bitchy fairy?!” Alice shouted.

”Whoa. When a rabbit gets all worked up, us fairies get scared, y’know? Cut it out. You’ve been using us as snacks to fill your bellies for ages.” Kupira said.

”Can’t tell the difference between fairies and onions, after all.” Viola remarked.

”So anyway, what was your goal?” Kispe asked.

The bunny girl glared with dead-fish eyes.

 Rugandia looked slightly on guard.

Kispe seemed completely unconcerned, and Viola was too busy chewing to care.

Linaria’s eyes sparkled at Kupira’s signature gothic dress.

Kupira, looking a little embarrassed, averted her gaze.

”Well, actually… I’ve gotten really into little-sister stories lately. There was this one romance that just hit me so hard, y’know? And I thought, hey, maybe I could start something deep with my own little sister too. Not that I’d have minded marrying her, really.” Kupira said.

”Huh?! What the hell?! So you were trying to get your spiritual body to pose as Kupira and have a fake wedding?! That’s just your fetish talking!!” Alice exclaimed.

”Little-sister stories? Which one did you read? Tell VioVio too!” Viola asked.

”Little-sister situations… Those are the ones that start all steamy, aren’t they… Y-you perverted fairies…” Linaria said.

”Romance that starts with a little sister is, like, the classic setup where you cheat on your wife with her, right? So, Kupi-pin, did you already do it with him?” Alice asked.

”Nn, not yet. You might already know this, but we fairies only just joined the humanoid races. I don’t really know how to move things forward.” Kupira said.

”Well she’s your sister, so she’s gotta be the one to make the first move on you. Oh, can I have that sandwich?” Alice asked.

”Go ahead. Man, rabbit beastkin sure do eat a lot. Viola’s a vampire so I know she’s fine, but I keep holding back ’cause I feel like I’d get fat.” Kupira said.

”It’d be hilarious if you couldn’t fly anymore.” Viola said.

”Well, isn’t it simple? Just tease him and drag him into bed. Alice’s always the one making the moves, so if you wanna get laid, you’ve gotta be aggressive about it.” Kispe said.

”But from what I hear, his type seems to be women with large chests. Kupira is modest in both chest and hips, and she’s small even by human standards. Wouldn’t she fall outside his preferences?” Rugandia asked.

”Huh? Really? But like, aren’t there a lot of kinda small girls around him?” Alice asked.

”The blonde cat beastkin, the wolf princess, and the forest princess are all at that borderline where you’d wonder if they’re even adults by human standards.” Viola said.

”If we’re just talking appearance and not age, the succubus group over there counts too.” Linaria said.

”The hell are you saying?! There’s no way a kid’s got tits like this! Klock’s a boob maniac who’s all about Alice and Lady Kispe!” Alice shouted.

”He does come groping even when there’s nothing going on, doesn’t he.” Viola said.

 ”…”

”Well, that’s just how life goes—you can’t have everything. The more you want someone, the less they want you back. Though, Ms. Primlena and Princess Kuzuha are probably closer to his preferred body type.” Kispe said.

”And isn’t that Suzette woman, too?” Alice asked.

”Now that you mention it, yeah. That maniac might as well be the legal wife with how close they are. I hear they only just met recently, but you’d think they’ve known each other for ten years.” Viola said.

”What about the Hero? She’s his lawful wife.” Rugandia asked.

”The Hero isn’t particularly tall. About the same height as Ms. Viola, I believe. Her chest is on the larger side, but her frame is as slender as a woman who’s dieted too much.” Linaria said.

”Lady Kispe’s just as thin, though.” Alice said.

”Same as VioVio, so like, a hundred fifty-something centimeters? Lady Hero’s drop-dead gorgeous, but… maybe she’s actually outside his type?” Viola asked.

”Ms. Viola. Please never say that in front of her.” Linaria warned.

”She’d split you vertically, not just chop your head off.” Kispe said.

”Oh? So the Hero’s the type to actually blow up over that kinda thing? Good to know.” Alice said.

”It’s less about anger and more that, depending on how you say it, it can come across as a provocation.” Linaria said.

”Viola. You’d better start thinking about what you want on your grave marker soon.” Kispe said.

 ”Eep…” Viola squeaked.

Alice made a throat-slitting gesture with both thumbs.

Viola put on a scared act.

The group brought cups of sweet, amber tea to their lips.

”So, what’s a witch like you planning to do from here? Whether we treat you as an ally or not depends on whether you’re serious about this marriage thing.” Kispe asked.

”Hey, don’t worry. I’m not gonna do anything shady. I’m not planning on betraying or backstabbing anyone. I just came here on the Queen’s orders, and I’ve got no intention of causing trouble. Besides, with a Succubi Princess around, picking a fight would be suicide anyway.” Kupira said.

”Like I’d believe that. You fairies are nothing but outlaws.” Rugandia said.

”Pretty hard to refuse when an outlaw group can be controlled with a single glance, though. The fairies of Gailea are all both male and female, but… Princess Asura’s Cursed Eye registers us as the opposite s*x and hits every single one of us. I might be able to resist it, and maybe the Fairy Queen too, but the rest of the fairies wouldn’t stand a chance.” Kupira said.

”Ehh… That’s way too broken for a Charm Cursed Eye. It works on every single fairy?!” Alice exclaimed.

”Yeah, that’s pretty unbeatable.” Viola said.

”Guess KisKis is the only one who can take the crown.” Alice said.

”The reason Sisley abandoned her advance into the Wasteland back then was because she learned of Kispe Shisa’s existence, after all. If she’d successfully taken control of the Abyss and secured dominion over the afterlife, things might’ve turned out differently, but it seems she wanted to avoid a direct clash between top-tier beings.” Kupira said.

 ”…Top-tier beings?” Rugandia asked.

”Indeed. ‘Top-tier beings’ apparently refers to evolved existences. I, however, have not evolved in the slightest.” Kispe said.

”Whoa, whoa, whoa. Are you seriously claiming you’re not one? You’re an original demon from the otherworld before the Otherworlds even existed—from the Dreamworld, right? You didn’t evolve—you were born a top-tier—” Alice exclaimed.

”Just a normal girl.” Kispe said.

”Yeah, yeah! KisKis is just a cute, fragile little girl, okay?!” Alice said.

”Don’t you dare slander Lady Kispe!” Linaria said.

 ”…Fine, whatever.” Viola said.

The black-haired, violet-eyed demon girl portioned out cake with her fork.

She stabbed a piece and fed it to Viola and Alice, who’d defended her, with an “ahh~” motion.

The two of them went “mmph~♡” as they ate with delight.

”By the way, that Sisley you mentioned earlier—is that the World Tree one…?” Alice asked.

”World Tree Fairy, Sisley. A top-tier being.” Kupira said.

”She’s the one who created the World Tree Beasts. She ordered Palze to dump her seeds into the Abyss.” Kispe said.

”Wait… but aren’t the World Tree Beasts completely out of control? They’re just straight-up monsters. Does she even have them under control?” Rugandia asked.

”That’s precisely the problem—she failed to control them and caused a situation beyond her handling.” Kupira said.

”Such a screw-up. This is what happens when fairies start thinking they’re hot stuff.” Viola said.

”Sisley is another existence from an otherworld before the Otherworlds were established. It’s very fairy-like to lack intelligence, but Sisley is undeniably a top-tier individual.” Kispe said.

”What’s the otherworld beyond the Void like?” Alice asked.

”A forest sea world. Primates nearly went extinct, and primate plants now cover the entire world.” Kupira said.

”What’s that? Primate plants?” Rugandia asked.

”Fairies, essentially. Those fairies called flower fairies or fruit fairies are all spiritual bodies of Gailea, a primate plant. They can separate their spiritual bodies and give them independent activity—and those spiritual bodies came to be called fairies.” Kupira said.

”Aside from the Human-Fairies, that is.” Kispe said.

”What makes Human-Fairies different?” Alice asked.

”They’re individuals who’ve convergently evolved toward a human form. These days, the new trend in the Void is to imitate Human-Fairies with humanoid spiritual bodies, but Human-Fairies have a human body at their core, not a plant. You see, there was a fairy that absorbed way too many human factors. From that, it gained human form and human-like reproductive ability, and officially joined the humanoid races.” Kupira said.

 ”Huh. Kinda gross.” Rugandia said.

”Coming from a succubus, that’s rich. Your ecology’s plenty invasive too.” Viola said.

”So that forest sea world is one where plants rule the roost? There were no humanoids?” Alice asked.

”The Forest People are what you’re thinking of. But over there, they were constantly at war with monsters, and their numbers dwindled to the point where Gailea just overtook them.” Kupira said.

 ”Monsters?” Rugandia asked.

”Apparently there were native enemies of humanity on that side. I was born in the Void, so I only know about the otherworld by hearsay. But I’m told that Queen Isabella Forestier of the current Forest People is a descendant of the royal family from that side—a collateral branch, actually. Their King Forestier led the Forest People against the monsters, but it seems they had a pretty rough time of it.” Kupira said.

 ”Huh. Sounds tough.” Alice said.

”This succubus is so not into this conversation.” Linaria said.

”Succubi are basically not interested in conflict, y’know? Because they don’t die, they can’t get invested in fighting. But the moment it gets lewd, they perk right up.” Kispe said.

”I just came to find out if Kupira’s a cheating skank or not.” Rugandia said.

”Speaking of which, we never did get back to what Kupira’s actually planning to do.” Alice said.

”For now, just sleep with him. If it seems like you’re not compatible, you can always go back to your family home.” Kispe said.

”Wait, didn’t we just establish that she’s not his type?” Rugandia asked.

”Stuff like that can be worked around with technique and approach. Whenever Alice goes after Klock, she’s always pressing her b**bs or butt against him and going full-on spoiled mode. Next thing you know, she gets dragged to bed like he’s trying to put her in her place.” Viola said.

”Master does tend to try and dominate girls, you see. If you act spoiled, he’ll silence you with a kiss; if you’re too clingy, he’ll pin you down. Honestly, it’s best to be just a tiny bit troublesome. Before you know it, he’ll grab your hand, push you onto the bed, or tell you to bend over the desk and stick your butt out. After that, you just let things flow.” Linaria said.

”R-right… So that’s how it is with KuroKuro…” Kupira said.

”Guys being like that… it’s all so raw and kinda gross…” Rugandia said.

Once the cake was finished, Rugandia and Linaria rose from their seats.

The empty dishes were cleared away, and the vampire maid duo excused themselves from the girls’ gathering.

That left Viola, Kispe, Alice, and Kupira.

”Hey, is Klock around?!” Alice called out.

”Gah?! There they are!” Kupira yelped.

No sooner had the two vampire maids left than three new figures entered.

All of them sported animal ears perked high and fluffy tails swishing back and forth.

The rabbit girl’s entire body went rigid at the sight of these fierce carnivorous beastkin.

”Princess of the Belandi Wolves. What a lovely day. Do you have business with Master?” Rosetta inquired, her voice dripping with practiced elegance.

”Princess Asura, is it? Nothing urgent, really. What are you lot up to?” Kuzuha replied, her tone measured.

”We were just having a girls’ gathering. If you’d like to join us, you’re most welcome. Given our respective positions, I imagine there are things we ought to discuss,” Rosetta said, her words carrying the weight of political calculation.

 ”Hoh.”

Rosetta smiled fearlessly. Kuzuha’s eyes narrowed. Meina blinked.

The Wolf Princess and Fox Princess took their seats.

The golden cat girl, meanwhile, made her way over to Alice, who was clearly intimidated by the wolves’ and foxes’ fangs—and gave her a comforting lick.

She rubbed against her, marking her with her scent, a gentle gesture to show they were friends. Guarded by the cat girl, Alice found herself hugging Meina without thinking.

Alice shifted half her seat, and the two of them shared one chair amicably.

”Princess Asura. I heard you lost to the Hero, surrendered, and formed a master-servant contract with Klock. Tell me your true intentions. Do you genuinely intend to follow the Hero and Klock?” Rosetta pressed, her aristocratic tone carrying an edge of suspicion.

”Naturally. I am fully committed to supporting Master,” Kupira replied smoothly.

”I know you’re not that humble of a person. Spit out your real goal,” Rosetta demanded, her voice hardening.

”Haaah?! The hell are you on about?! Lady Kispe said it, so that’s how it is!!” Alice shot back, her casual register cracking through the tension.

”Shut up, small fry,” Rosetta dismissed.

 ”Hmph!” Alice huffed.

”Now, now, let’s all calm down. There’s no need to get hostile right off the bat,” Viola interjected, her tone placating.

”Don’t butt in, fairy,” Kuzuha said flatly.

”For a fairy, you’ve got plenty of meat on you. Might make for a good hotpot broth,” Rosetta mused, her eyes glittering.

”You guys are seriously always trying to eat us, huh?” Viola sighed.

Glances flew between Kuzuha, Rosetta, Alice, and Kupira.

Meina blinked in confusion. Viola seemed indifferent, while Kispe watched with quiet amusement.

”I truly enjoy being his retainer. I may never get another chance to hold such a position in my life. So at the very least, I have no intentions of betraying him,” Kupira stated, her voice carrying unexpected sincerity.

”…Really?” Rosetta asked, her suspicion momentarily wavering.

”Yes. No matter how it came about, he obtained me. I want him to fully savor the glory of that achievement—and I intend to enjoy my time living as a woman,” Kupira continued.

”Humans have such short lifespans, after all,” Meina observed.

Alice nodded knowingly, and Meina nodded along in vague agreement.

”Living as a woman… does that mean you two are…?” Rosetta trailed off, her aristocratic composure cracking slightly.

”Oh, absolutely. I’m his woman, of course. Even though I can never bear a child in this womb, he’s been so eager to cherish me in bed,” Kupira declared with a provocative smile.

”I get called in regularly for s*x. He even asked me to marry him the other day. Seriously, I’m way too loved—it’s actually a problem,” Alice added with a shrug.

 ”Damn succubi…!!” Rosetta hissed.

 ”Tch,” Kuzuha clicked her tongue.

The Fox Princess let out a low growl.

”Honestly though, the guy’s libido is insane—one or two women probably aren’t enough,” Alice continued, waving a hand dismissively.

”That is certainly true. Even with Alice and I, two succubi, attending to him all night, he’ll still be enjoying other women the next morning,” Kupira confirmed.

”Right? Like, the guy stays hard constantly—it never goes down. His stamina’s superhuman,” Alice added with a knowing grin.

”Whether that means I recognize your relationship is another matter entirely,” Rosetta said icily.

”And what will you do about it? You two have new lives growing in your bellies, yes? You can no longer be his partners, so you can hardly complain if we serve as his outlets,” Kupira countered smoothly.

”Heh-heh. Apparently, getting knocked up while the male’s still in his prime is a surefire way to get cheated on—that’s what they say about human races, anyway! We’ve been doing it almost every day, so don’t get mad, okay? He says the bunny girl is just too cute for words,” Alice said with a teasing lilt.

 ”You bastards…” Rosetta snarled.

The Wolf Princess’s fangs glinted faintly.

Both princesses let out low, rumbling growls.

”Calm down. These two are succubi. Succubi drain the essence from wombs and kill the unborn—they can’t bear children. These two are safe,” Viola reasoned.

”What do you mean, ‘safe’?” Rosetta demanded.

”Well, men need women to relieve their urges, right? If they go after anyone other than succubi, there could be children popping up everywhere. Is that really what you want?” Viola pressed.

”That’s… no, it’s not,” Rosetta admitted reluctantly.

”Exactly. Just think of these two as bedding,” Viola suggested.

”Just imagining him using that ‘bedding’ is enough to make me die of rage,” Rosetta spat.

Whether it was the way things had started between them, Rosetta simply couldn’t accept the succubi.

She’d once demanded that Klockr**apeKuzuha, and now she found herself bristling at the thought of him with other women.

A change of heart brought on either by pregnancy, by their succubus nature, or by her growing recognition of Klock as her mate.

”I understand Princess Rosetta’s adorable jealousy, but either way, we have no choice in the matter. We are bound to serve Master. When called upon, we answer. That is the Hero’s command. Besides, there are those who have already married him. If you think about the future, they will all be connected to Lady Rosetta’s clan,” Kupira explained patiently.

”The merfolk, you mean. And those bratty fairies too,” Rosetta said dismissively.

”Those fairies are this one’s, right? Sort of like her split selves,” Alice chimed in.

”Split selves? What do you mean?” Rosetta asked, her brow furrowing.

”She apparently wanted to become his ‘sister’ or something—she tried to make her own spiritual entity into her older sister and marry him that way,” Alice elaborated.

 ”Haaah?” Rosetta blinked in disbelief.

”Then she planned to use that sister-position to work her way into a romantic relationship,” Alice continued.

”Getting explained to the very end is mortifying,” Viola mumbled, her cheeks flushing.

”This makes no sense. So the one he’s marrying is… you?” Rosetta demanded, her sharp gaze now fixed on the fairy princess.

”Anyway, we were just talking about how to start things off,” Viola deflected.

”Just put your head on a platter and hand it over. That ought to do it,” Rosetta proposed darkly.

”There you go again—trying to eat a fairy,” Viola sighed.

”Us Wolfkin have a tradition of presenting prey to our mates. I’ll deliver your head myself. A fairy princess’s head should be an acceptable early wedding gift, I suppose,” Rosetta offered with chilling casualness.

”Could you please stop recognizing me as prey?!” Viola protested.

”Fairies eat humans too, don’t they? I’ve seen your kind sticking root-straws into the heads of travelers who collapsed in the forest and drinking them like juice,” Rosetta countered.

”Flower fairies are just like that. Unless there’s a reason, they don’t attack living people, so give them a break. Not that it matters, since I’m a human-fairy hybrid,” Viola explained wearily.

”Wait—Wolfkin, Foxkin, Catkin—aren’t beastkin in general basically all eating humans?” Alice interjected.

”We’re a hunting race. I hear we’ve recently learned agriculture and advanced civilization a bit, but I’m pretty sure we were still hunting and eating humans just a hundred years ago,” Kuzuha stated matter-of-factly.

”I think Klock would be seriously freaked out if he heard that,” Alice said with a grimace.

”Not that I remember anything of the sort,” Rosetta said dismissively.

”Never heard of it,” Kuzuha added.

 ”These guys…” Alice muttered.

”Sounds like things are getting lively,” a voice announced.

The salon doors opened once more.

 In walked Primlena and Suzette.

”Ugh, Klock’s preferred type just showed up,” Alice groaned.

”Klock’s preferred type?” Primlena asked, tilting her head.

”He apparently prefers women who are well-endowed and have larger breasts,” Kispe explained with a knowing smirk.

”What?! Not strong females?!” Rosetta exclaimed, genuinely offended.

”Humans were apparently pretty removed from war until recently, weren’t they? Maybe they’ve come to prefer well-bred women over strong ones,” Kuzuha mused.

”I see. Among humans—who use currency—a well-fleshed woman is proof of wealth and good breeding,” Rosetta reasoned.

”Um… what are you talking about?” Suzette asked, utterly lost.

Suzette and Primlena looked confused, but they ended up joining the group regardless.

Apparently bored or unable to follow the conversation, Meina rose from her seat.

Feeling lonely without her, Alice followed suit.

The two adorable beast-girls disappeared, tails entwined, leaving seven members in the girls’ gathering.

 Kupira, Kispe, Viola.

 Rosetta, Kuzuha.

 Primlena, Suzette.

”So, this is the real Lady Kupira, and you were discussing how to begin a relationship with Sir Klock,” Primlena observed.

”That’s right. I’ve heard you’re something like the first wife—if you wouldn’t mind, could you offer some advice?” Viola asked hopefully.

”Ah… I’m not actually his first wife, though,” Kupira admitted sheepishly.

They were speaking as though marriage had already happened, but in truth, they weren’t even officially married yet. If they didn’t need to follow human customs and just needed a ceremony, then Kuzuha and Kupira might qualify.

”For starters, perhaps confessing the truth and going on a date?” Primlena suggested.

”There’s no way I’d allow something like that,” Rosetta snapped.

”A male who’s put a child in a nation’s princess—going on a date with other females? Fairies, are you trying to start a war with the Foxkin?” Kuzuha growled.

 The beastkin princesses growled.

With individual circumstances and values driving the conversation, saying something you thought was common sense didn’t necessarily mean it would be treated as such.

”So basically, you’re saying I should do nothing?” Viola asked.

”If he makes the first move, I suppose we couldn’t exactly blame you,” Rosetta conceded reluctantly.

”You’re a princess offered by the Fairy Queen as a symbol of peace. We’ll try not to treat you too poorly. Try, at least,” Kuzuha added.

”Got it. So I wait for him to make a move,” Viola nodded.

”In that case, it might take a while before things get to s*x,” Primlena noted.

”There’s no real need for mating in the first place,” Kuzuha said flatly.

”The fairy princess’s goal is marriage—she has no obligation to bear children. His child is what I’m carrying. I’ll fulfill the role of continuing the bloodline,” Rosetta declared possessively.

”That’s refreshingly honest jealousy,” Primlena observed with a small smile.

”Beastkin really are straightforward—no games, huh,” Suzette remarked.

As the chatter continued, Primlena scratched her cheek.

”I’ve been ordered to bear children. Is it okay to understand that there’s no issue?” Primlena asked hesitantly.

”You’re returning to the sea once you’re pregnant, right?” Rosetta confirmed.

”Yes. They say a child born on land will bring harm to our people—it’s tradition to bear and raise them in the Sanctum,” Primlena explained.

”I see. I hope you get pregnant soon. You’re the bridge to the Fishkin, after all,” Rosetta said.

”Yes. It might not happen immediately since we’re different species, but I hope things work out well with all of you,” Primlena replied softly.

”You’re not trying to chase me out, are you?” Kispe asked.

The atmosphere was growing more and more ominous, and even Viola looked exasperated. Kispe kept her usual smile, while Rosetta and Kuzuha seemed displeased.

”Still, now that Lady Primlena is pregnant, we’re really starting to get overrun with expectant mothers. Soon there won’t be anyone left who can fight.” Kispe said.

Kispe’s statement sent a faint ripple of tension through the room.

”You were on the other side originally. How do you see this war?” Kispe asked.

 ”How do I see it?”

”Win or lose.” Kispe said. “We have an advantageous position, but it’s still too early to say whether we’ll win. If Mr. Bandanzine falls, I can be confident of victory. But at this point, the possibility of losing is very real.” Kispe said.

”That old man is just stupidly strong.” Viola remarked.

Everyone’s brows furrowed at Kispe and Viola’s remarks.

”Our army numbers thirty thousand. Plus about eighty thousand main forces heading our way. Is it really possible to lose with that?” Rosetta asked.

”The Master said you’ll face a food shortage soon. There aren’t enough supplies to feed that many soldiers.” Kispe said.

 ”Hmph.” Rosetta huffed.

”Having more numbers is advantageous, but you need the foundation to sustain them. Mr. Bandanzine is an unparalleled strategist, so he’ll see through an overstretched force immediately. I think the fight ahead will be tough.” Kispe said.

”What strategist? Wasn’t he nearly caught in a pincer attack at the Orrid Front and ended up in a crisis? That proves their strategy has holes.” Kuzuha said.

”That’s true—he can’t be perfect. Don’t be too afraid. If we fight steadily, we’ll have enough of a chance to win.” Rosetta said.

”Still, we need to be on high alert right now. He’s probably entrusting the fighting to his subordinates. It looks like he’s letting them handle things to train the next generation of leaders. But if he moves himself, the situation could change in an instant.” Kispe said.

”Yes. A small mistake could lead to a fatal defeat. He has a track record of that.” Rosetta said.

 ”Hmm…” Rosetta murmured.

Perhaps confident in her numbers and strength, Rosetta pouted at being told there was a possibility of losing.

”He’s a man who’s even called another Demon Lord. He himself has magic power strong enough to easily deflect Kispe’s Cursed Eye. In pure combat, he’s stronger than my sister Primjune.” Primlena said.

”Your sister’s just weak, isn’t she?” Kuzuha said.

”You’re plenty strong yourself, so I’ll let that rudeness slide. But you should understand how significant it is to surpass an Apostle of Sanctum. He’s stronger than one of the Apostles.” Primlena said.

”The Sanctum’s domain is underwater, isn’t it? It wouldn’t be strange for them to be at a disadvantage on land. But if he really is stronger than an Apostle, then he’s definitely a major threat.” Kuzuha said.

”Hey, Bat Woman. Who’s stronger between you and this Bandanzine guy?” Alice asked.

”Who’re you callin’ a bat, you little shit? Obviously that old man’s stronger.” Viola said.

”Aren’t you an Apostle too? So you lose?” Alice teased.

”Just ’cause you’re an Apostle don’t mean you’re the strongest, alright? When you become an Apostle, your magic power goes up and you get new skills, but your magic power output don’t change. That old man’s got stupid magic power output. I heard one punch from him can blow away the whole earth.” Viola said.

Until now, there had been almost no information about Bandanzine. Everyone’s eyes widened at the facts being revealed here.

”He’s the same type as me.” Kispe said.

”A classic combat type. A warrior who channels magic power into physical strength. He’s bad at magic, but he can release magic power at high output and convert it into muscle strength with great efficiency.” Kispe said.

”He seems like he’d outmatch Wolf Princess and Viola in raw power. Better avoid a frontal battle and use underhanded tactics against him.” Rosetta said.

”So we should fight him at long range with magic?” Kuzuha asked.

”We don’t know yet. He might have a Unique Skill.” Kispe said.

”That’s true. We have to watch out for the pattern where guys who can’t use magic have a ridiculously strong Unique Skill.” Rosetta said.

”Besides, even if he can’t learn magic himself, he can compensate with scrolls and staves.” Kuzuha said.

 ”Hm?” Wolf Princess said.

Wolf Princess noticed something. Her ears twitched, and the Fox Princess’s fluffy ears reacted at the same time.

 ”What’s wrong?” Rosetta asked.

”I heard footsteps that might be Klock. Seems like he’s back.” Wolf Princess said.

”That’s some incredible hearing.” Kuzuha said.

”Her abilities surpass Ms. Viola’s in every way. Like an upgraded version.” Kispe said.

”KisKis? VioVio’s got lots of good points too, y’know?” Viola said.

”Well, Ms. Viola is airheaded and cute♡ If she ever stopped being useful, I’d happily offer her up as the first sacrifice.” Kispe said.

 ”That’s harsh!?” Viola cried.

”So, what did you princesses of the Beast Country want with him?” Kispe asked.

”Don’t worry about it. I’m just going to educate the fool who keeps taking more mates without telling me.” Rosetta said.

”So you are unhappy about it.” Primlena said.

”I understand there are circumstances. If the Hero accepts it, I can’t say anything. But on that basis, there’s room to discuss how he doesn’t even try to go through us.” Rosetta said.

”That’s true. Getting someone pregnant and then silently taking more wives isn’t praiseworthy.” Kuzuha said.

Rosetta and Kuzuha left their seats. The salon girls’ gathering was down to five.

”So Kupira’s on our side now, right?” Kispe asked.

”Of course. I’m his sister-in-law, and I’m friends with all of you. More to the point, what about you, Viola? I heard you surrendered and came here just the other day. Are you going to be his wife too?” Kupira said.

”As if! VioVio’s been told she doesn’t have to do anything. So I’m planning to live a life of leisure.” Viola said.

 ”…Heh heh.” Kispe laughed.

Viola maintained her carefree attitude, while Kispe laughed meaningfully.

”A life of leisure, huh. I see.” Kispe said.

 ”What?” Viola asked.

”Ah, well, it’s just that apparently I’m not supposed to make the first move myself. I was wondering how I should go about inviting him.” Kupira said.

”Hah! Fairies thinkin’ they can seduce a guy?” Viola said.

”Before long, you’ll see me with a swollen belly.” Kupira said.

 ”…” Viola said.

”The fact that fairies, who until recently had onion-like individuals among them, now intend to bear a child of the human race—there’s almost something insane about it.” Kispe said.

”That’s pretty rude, isn’t it? You guys get called sea fairies and such yourselves, don’t you?” Kupira said.

Viola and Primlena wore indescribable expressions at the doll-white girl’s pregnancy declaration.

”Kupira is in love with love itself.” Kispe said.

”In love with love…?” Primlena asked.

”I think what she sees isn’t the Master himself, but romance itself. She seems focused on how to achieve her ideal love story.” Kispe said.

”Now that you mention it, that’s true. I don’t really know him well, but I’m very interested in a romance with him.” Kupira said.

”Something tells me you’d get divorced pretty fast.” Viola said.

”Do you really think that’s okay? You came here representing your clan, didn’t you? Don’t you think responsibility should come first?” Primlena said.

”I understand what you’re saying. But still, I want a wonderful romance. I’m supposed to be his sister-in-law, but I’d try to take his hand, have him prioritize me over his wives. There are more important things, but I’d throw them all away and run to him. Wouldn’t that be wonderful?” Kupira said.

 ”Ahh~” Suzette said.

 ”How romantic.” Suzette said.

”I’m a fairy, after all. Even if this is a political marriage, I can’t be a good wife without a proposal. My personality is as twisted as these horns. If he doesn’t come to capture my heart properly, I won’t make it easy.” Kupira said.

”I understand. RugRug would say that’s a lovely idea.” Primlena said.

”I approve. If that’s how it is, please do as you like. I won’t get in your way.” Suzette said.

”I won’t say anything either… but Suzette, what do you think?” Kispe asked.

”Me…? As long as no harm is done, I have nothing to say.” Suzette said.

Suzette looked like she wanted to say something, but in the end she stayed silent. Whether that man Klock Livorno was utterly disconnected from the concept of romance—rather than explaining it, it was probably better for him to learn firsthand. The women here had all come through political strategy, circumstances, or demands for accountability.

”Klock, welcome back! Let’s go on a date!” Alice said.

Outside the mansion, the bunny girl found the man she’d been looking for. She jumped on him, hanging from his neck, grabbing him before anyone else could.

”I want to rest already.” Klock said.

”You look so tired. What happened?” Alice asked.

”I stopped by the assembly to explain about the Beast Country soldiers, request food aid, and discuss sleeping arrangements for the troops. I got grilled for hours and I’m beat. I kept emphasizing that I’m under the Golden Count, so until the Count gets here, I should be able to rest for a while.” Klock said.

”Ohhh, good work!! But you shouldn’t go inside the mansion. Rosetta and Kuzuha are here right now, and they’re furious about you being a cheater. They said since you already knocked someone up, you’re useless now, so they’re gonna bite your d**k off. Suzette said she’d put bugs in your food, and the goldfish princess said she peed on your bed.” Alice said.

”Alright, let’s go on a date.” Klock said.

The rabbit demon grinned. No matter how short her stature, manipulating a man was easy. Even if the lies came out later, she’d calculated that Klock would forgive it as a trivial matter.

”Can Mī come too?” Mī asked.

”A three-person date. We’ll have plenty of s*x tonight and go home tomorrow morning.” Klock said.

”Wait, Meina should take it easy now with the baby…” Mī said.

”I know, I know. Put your d**k in Alice. And make sure Meina doesn’t get lonely by giving her lots of kisses.” Klock said.

”Alright, let’s get a room.” Klock said.

”The date first, dummy.” Alice said.

With that, the Rabbit Girl pressed a kiss to his cheek. Following her lead, the Cat Girl pressed a kiss to the other cheek.

”I don’t want to walk around too much, so pick a not-tiring date course.” Klock said.

”Ehh, let’s walk a lot, Sir Klock. Mī wants to sunbathe in Libertal Square!! It’s a date, so try harder!!” Mī said.

”Yeah! Walk around town holding hands ’til we’re exhausted! Alice wants to go to the main street so you can feed me yummy stuff!!” Alice said.

”Why do we have to walk until we’re exhausted?” Klock asked.

”That way, you’ll have that much more energy for tonight. Alice’s butt is thick, so you can bump it all you want.” Alice said.

”Alright, let’s get a room.” Klock said.

”I told you, the date comes first!!” Alice said.

”Alice-chan’s way of inviting is amazing. Mī’s too embarrassed to copy it.” Mī said.

”Meina’s always been pressing her butt against him, though. I’ve never seen such a horny cat girl. If Alice had been born a guy, I’d have stolen Meina from you by now.” Alice said.

 ”Funya?!” Meina cried.

”I see. So the child in Meina’s womb is actually Alice’s, not mine. That’s kind of shocking.” Klock said.

 ”That’s not true?!” Meina said.

”Hey hey, you can get to the old town from over there!! There must be tons of poor people there, so let’s go point and laugh at them!!” Alice said.

”Graduate from that evil hobby right now.” Klock said.

”Kidding. You’re tired, right? Let’s go to that dark spot over there. I’ll let you bury yourself in my b**bs.” Alice said.

”Mī will do that too, once they get bigger.” Mī said.

”Meina. It’s not realistic to expect you to reach Alice’s level now…” Alice said.

Notes:

• Orrid – Southern pleasure town near Conro, known for its chaos and vice. Serves as Brigante’s next destination and Count Grasso’s sphere of influence. Rumored den of spies and mercenaries.

• Alice – An energetic, mischievous, young-looking rabbit beastkin/succubus with long ears, this member of the Six Noble Ladies poses as a playful volunteer. Simple-minded, prone to tantrums, yet wielding superhuman strength, she is provocative yet comforting. Deeply attached to Klock with clear romantic interest, she also shares a bond with him over being intimidated by certain other group members.

• Viola – A pale Vampire Princess and Moon Court apostle from the Demon Continent with crimson eyes, fangs, a scar, and a tattered red dress. Though bratty, sharp, and cynical, she is surprisingly relaxed enough to observe military councils. Following Rosetta’s coup, she remains tense and hostile, forced under Klock’s command by contract, despite once defiantly leading her maids against him.

• Kispe – Queen Kispe, the Succubus Princess Asura, is a powerful Otherworld Apostle and winged Crimson Spire succubus with long black hair, amethyst eyes, a petite build, and a black-tied dress. Klock’s polite, efficient secretary and lover, she calmly manages vampires while teasing him telepathically. She is also connected to a past event involving Cianie.

• Kupira – A white-haired, porcelain-skinned fairy outcast with cursed golden eyes, she was born from Queen Palze’s abandonment. Chosen by the familiar Kispe as a companion for Klock, she arrives with chaotic, childlike energy and a sing-song voice. Mischievous and overly enthusiastic, this fairy has now declared herself Klock’s bride, arriving to conduct their wedding ceremony.

• Rugandia – Slender Sand Village maid in a crisp white uniform and red apron, serving as Sylvia’s loyal attendant at the Croce Estate. Revealed as one of five members of a secret vampire coven meeting in the old church, she wears a black robe for nocturnal duties. Now protecting Viola, she cautiously watches negotiations alongside her peers, using Shadow Walking via darkness, though formal attire hinders her.

• Linaria – A quiet, dependable Sand Village vampire girl and member of the five-maid corps who joined Klock’s side. Longtime maid and childhood friend of Viola, she stayed back during the strategy meeting to avoid crowding. Famed for her long, decorated nails, she participated in a dive-attack on Rosetta before being immobilized by the Law of the Sword Seal.

• Kupu – An adorable yet gothic Apple Fairy, she possesses pale skin, white hair, and mismatched eyes. Smaller than standard spirits, she features distinct red horns and an otherworldly aura. She identifies as Klock’s elegant sister-in-law, blending a delicate, fairy-like appearance with a refined, eerie presence that sets her apart from typical spirits.

• Klock – A mud-caked, purple-eyed Chosen One and battle-worn Conro master, this blunt, pragmatic tactician leads 2,600 soldiers. Though anxious, he uses profanity to mask his fear while wielding ‘Authority’ to phase through stone. As the reluctant groom to Kupira, he fiercely protects his disciples, succubi, and partners against political threats, balancing soldierly grit with deep devotion.

• Primlena – An orange-haired merfolk princess and priestess with long ears, she is a fierce council member and former Demon Lord officer. Sister to Primjune and leader of the Obsidian Riders, she protects the protagonist with wifely affection while secretly plotting Klock’s downfall. Recently, she was spotted flustered and targeted by fairies during the chaotic Fairy Parade, staring at the event in disbelief.

• Kuzuha – Princess of the Karakas Foxes and a skilled magic-user, she possesses long black hair, a black tail, and fur-covered arms. Pregnant with the protagonist’s child, she acts as a strategic scout alongside Klock and Rosetta, often clashing with rivals. She wields wind magic, shikigami, and the Sword Seal, dealing with fairies efficiently and without mercy, occasionally left in disbelief by them.

• Suzette – An older silver-haired combat maid in a high-collared uniform, she heads Viscount Fennec’s household and commands the Human troops (Brigante Troop) on rear guard duties. A fierce ally who guards Viscount Klock on the battlefield, she uses his circle for close-combat protection. She distrusts outsiders like Alard but supports the Hero’s party, equipped with functional magic scrolls for teleportation.

• Palze – As the Fairy Queen, this complex figure balances her identity with the beastkin and succubi lineages. Often found displeased upon her throne, she is the mother of the cursed daughter Kupira, born from Palze’s obsession. Though she claims to have killed Francesca, the lack of a discovered body leaves the truth of this act in doubt.

• Isabella – Forestkin queen, appears after Klock meets the Phantasmal Beast. Leads peace talks with Humans. Mother of Avery, Flavia. Calm, strategic ruler.

• Rosetta – A petite, charismatic Bairan Wolfkin princess, she is a cold, decisive tactician who commands the Beast Country army with absolute authority and terrifying rage. Recognizable by her white-and-black hair, jagged teeth, and fluffy tail, she protects her kin fiercely. Currently an ally of Klock and pregnant with his child, she stands in his formation, capable of severing magic with her formidable roars.

• Meina – A golden-haired cat-girl scout with feline ears and a tail, she serves at Larana’s inn. Speaking in the third person, she blends a vulnerable demeanor with predatory, hunter-like grace. Beyond her intimate bond with Klock and her history of delivering harrowing messages, she is a strategic powerhouse in the army and uniquely talented at handling fairies through unconventional, practical methods.

• Bandanzine – A scarred, authoritative veteran Earth General, this cynical “Second Demon Lord” and Heavenly King commands the Demonkin forces with cold, petty pragmatism. Lacking an Otherworld connection, he rivals Gildegant in power and harbors deep distrust toward Parl Forestier. He leads the Demon Lord’s Army with a dignified gaze, issuing strategic directives that reflect his harsh, antagonistic frontline nature.

• Primjune – A scaled and finned figure, she is one of the Four Heavenly Kings who executed the saint’s kidnapping plan. Hanover suspects this lady of being one of the current generation’s Chosen Ones, specifically the One Who Shoots Down.

• Livorno – The family name of Klock, now associated with the property of Rosetta Beledia within the social hierarchy of the Beastkin.
