Volume 2 Chapter 29 Misunderstanding
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
”Mmm… mgh… ngh…”
Her slender frame trembled with every shiver, hips shaking like waves crashing on the shore.
”Mmm… ngh… mmn…!”
Each time skin met skin, the sound echoed sharply, and her muffled voice spilled out, filled with both resistance and something else.
”I’m about to finish. Turn this way,” he said, voice low and firm.
She was on her knees, bracing herself against the wall, but at his command, she slowly turned to face him. Her breath came in ragged gasps, sweat trailing down her flushed cheeks. Without warning, he grabbed her by the chin and pressed their lips together, stealing her breath.
Thump, thump. A sound like quiet pulses echoed.
He released inside her without a word, lips still locked onto hers, his hands clutching her as if she were merely an object. There was no hesitation in his movements—no gentleness. He held nothing back, pouring everything into her without mercy.
She didn’t resist. Whether it was acceptance or surrender, even she couldn’t say. He simply smirked as he continued, unrelenting until the end.

”Are you satisfied now, you beast?” Suzette muttered, her voice faint as she lay face down, completely drained.
She didn’t look at him, only let out shallow breaths as she spoke.
”What? Wasn’t it good?” he asked, a lazy grin in his voice.
”That’s not the point,” she snapped, still not turning to face him. “Have you lost your mind, you damn r*pist?”
A faint trail of warmth trickled down her thigh—undeniable proof of what had just occurred. The sight felt shameful, like a brand burned into her skin. It wasn’t affection. It was force. And yet… her body had trembled from it. That truth clung to her like a second skin, no matter how much she denied it.
”You’re pretty sharp,” he said, watching her with a half-lidded gaze. “I’m guessing you already know how I felt… just from how you reacted.”
Suzette finally turned her head toward him, her eyes sharp and clear.
”I’ll say this clearly,” she said. “Yes, it felt good. Your skills are real. But that doesn’t mean I’m yours now. Don’t misunderstand.”
”…Huh? What do you mean?” he asked, blinking in confusion.
”I’m saying I’m not going to be your woman,” she replied coldly. “And to demand that from someone you just forced yourself on—disgusting. Go die.”
So that’s it, he thought. She admitted it felt good, but drew a hard line. For a moment, he couldn’t remember what had led to this. Then it hit him—he’d jokingly said something like, “Become my woman,” last night. She must’ve taken it seriously.
”Fine then. If that’s how it is, I won’t hold back,” he muttered with a shrug.
Not that he had any real intention of turning her into something she didn’t want to be. Still, he had to decide how much longer to keep her around.
”You’re the worst,” Suzette said, slowly pushing herself upright. Her limbs trembled, but her gaze burned. “I don’t know who’s after you, but wouldn’t it be better if you just gave up and got killed in the most painful way possible?”
Despite her words, there was no power behind her threat. Her body, still recovering from exhaustion, was in no condition to fight. Instead, his eyes were drawn to the curve of her chest, rising and falling with every breath. Even in this moment, she radiated a kind of quiet allure.
”You only have yourself to blame,” he said with a snort. “That body of yours and the fact you can’t fight anymore—it’s dangerous. Honestly, if it wasn’t me, someone worse would’ve done far more.”
He stretched and glanced her way, lips curling into a teasing smirk.
”Hey, how about this? I’ll help you get away… in exchange for a deal. You offer your body, and I’ll offer protection. Think of it like a maid contract.”
It was half a joke—words tossed out without thought. If she were at full strength, she might’ve hit him or cursed him out. But now, with her weakened state, he expected another icy glare or sarcastic reply.
Instead, she frowned deeply, lost in thought.
”…I see,” Suzette said at last, her voice calm. “That’s acceptable.”
”…Huh?”
”Yes. If it keeps things simple, I don’t mind. As long as there’s a clear end to it, I’ll go along.”
He blinked, confused. She… agreed? Was she serious?
”…What’s the end?”
”Until Lushelara Port in the Federation,” she replied. “Once you put me on a ship to Nushutei, our deal ends.”
Lushelara Port. That was the exit point across the sea to the Beast Continent. It wasn’t far from what they originally planned, but now it was locked in as a formal contract.
”You serious? Doesn’t that only put you at a disadvantage?”
”No. I’d say you’re the one losing out,” she said, tilting her head with a sly smile.
”Huh? Why?”
”Because if I go with you, you’ll be in for hell. I’ll take it easy, but you’ll suffer every step of the way.”
She said it as if it were natural—just a matter of fact.
And she was right. Their escape plan was vague at best. Even reaching the capital’s edge was risky. If she couldn’t walk, he’d have to carry her. If they were found, it’d be over.
”If you’re thinking logically,” she continued, “you’d be better off ditching me and finding someone warm at your destination. You don’t have to stay with me.”
Her eyes narrowed.
”But… if you absolutely must, I won’t stop you.”
”Alright then,” he said, brushing off the awkwardness. “Let’s do that. Later, give me a titty-fuck.”
He tossed the words out bluntly, just to end the conversation before it turned any more pathetic.
Got it. Here’s the full rewrite, smooth and light novel style, keeping it clear, simple, and natural:

He had an idea about her limbs. It might work somehow, but if he revealed it now, it could put him at a disadvantage. So, it was better to keep quiet.
”──I can’t believe you’re sane. Honestly, you should reconsider.”
That was a natural reaction.
She was beautiful, well-shaped, and easy to hold. But did that mean he’d risk his life to protect her? Of course not.
Her value as a woman was high, but their time together wasn’t enough for him to throw his life away. People protected themselves first, and if their lives were threatened, they’d abandon anyone—even a woman. Suzette probably thought the same, but she was confused by how he acted.
”Well, showing me your weak side was your mistake.”
Still, admitting that here would do no good. He’d keep up the act that he wanted her badly. Human relationships were negotiations. The trick was to deal without showing your cards or true feelings.
”I see. Then it’s up to you. Just make sure you don’t drag me down with your useless attitude.”
Suddenly, her tone softened a little.
Her sharp words didn’t disappear, but she seemed willing to follow his lead now.
”…What’s with you all of a sudden? You’re not fighting back?”
”I figured out that you like women who resist. I won’t do that. Use me however you want. I won’t resist until we get there.”
So that was her move.
She planned to stop him by making him lose interest. She didn’t get it. She should look at her own chest and think again. No man would lose interest there.
He stepped closer after her weak resistance and wrapped his arms around her from behind, firmly grabbing her breasts.
The soft flesh squished under his hands as he ran his fingers over her nipples and pinched them tightly.
”Ahh♡… I mean…”
She gasped, then covered her mouth.
Too late. She just revealed herself—a woman who couldn’t help but make those indecent sounds when suddenly touched.
”What’s with that sexy voice? You know how to please a man, don’t you?”
”Tch, it’s not like that! It’s… different…”
”Different how? You’re inviting me, aren’t you?”
Before she could say anything, he moved to silence her.
Might as well teach her how to flatter a man while he was at it.
His body was responding again, which was convenient. Even if he moved, he’d have to wait until evening to do anything more.

Record
Progress report on aiding C’s escape.
One day has passed since the order. It’s past noon now.
We’re hiding in an abandoned church in the imperial capital, Alvenia. No sign of pursuers or search parties yet. I’m barely keeping this mission going.
Last night, I took a serious hit from an enemy’s surprise attack. My left limbs were pierced, and my hand still won’t open. It’s definitely a nervous system injury, bad enough that I could be judged unfit for duty.
Unlucky. I underestimated the enemy’s power.
I never thought a single blow from someone outside the hero party could hurt me this badly. My magic control is shaky, and I can’t send the scheduled report. Sir Gildegant has probably noticed I’m not responding. If he thinks I’ve been captured, he might rush to attack the imperial capital on his own.
If he thinks our information leaked and acts rashly, the military will definitely mobilize. Looks like that moment has finally come.
C isn’t here now.
After forcing himself on me repeatedly, he’s started searching for clues to escape. It’s late—too late—but he must have his reasons.
Last night, C touched my horn.
Apparently, he doesn’t know about demon horns. When he grabbed mine and forced himself on me, I hesitated to abandon the mission and kill him. What stopped me was the strange feelings I sensed from him.
He thought I was going to kill myself when I told him to leave me behind and wanted to stop me. It’s so unexpected—a human trying to save a demonkin’s life.
Before I could sort out my thoughts, he violated me. It was my first time, and I’d thought death was better than being with a human, but it felt strangely smooth. I fell asleep, overwhelmed by pleasure and exhaustion.
This morning, after gathering supplies, he turned his lust toward me again. Once more, he grabbed my horn and poured his feelings into me without care.
It looks like he’s chosen a dangerous path to save me. To justify taking me with him, he plans to call me his sex slave and trick me into submission.
What can I say? It’s foolish. His reasoning is ridiculous. I can only watch, dumbfounded.
I tried to make him leave me behind because if communication stops, my kin will come to rescue me. C’s assumption is wrong.
But honestly, his clumsy effort to keep me alive by making me feel good—well, it’s hard to explain how that makes me feel. Though his way of caring for a woman is all wrong, I want to see how far he’ll go.
How does he plan to escape the imperial capital with me? Does he really intend to hold me every day in enemy territory?
Though offering my body feels humiliating, I decided to go along with his plan.
I don’t like how quickly he devours me as soon as we make this contract, but maybe it stopped him from worrying I might die.
Because of that, today’s encounter was even more intense than yesterday’s, and all in broad daylight.
I can never say this to him, but honestly, it felt… no, never mind. I’ll just watch how things go from here.
* * *
C is a Human—a lowly species. But he’s the kind who wants to help demons. That’s unusual.
In this desperate situation, his will to save me without fearing the hero party is something I have to respect.
I could have told him to go ahead and wait for my kin to come, but I want to watch a little longer.
Still, I won’t trust him. I’ll keep talking badly about him from now on.
* * *
Come to think of it, he thought I’d commit suicide by poison, so he stole the Silent Looper’s venom from my supplies.
That venom is definitely deadly, but women don’t usually die from it. It’s an aphrodisiac poison. Men supposedly die from constant ejaculation, but women just keep climaxing endlessly.
Its strength is in the powerful and fast-acting arousal effect, not in lethality. It’s good for traps or slowing enemies.
I don’t mind if he takes it, but how am I supposed to teach him how to use it?
I wonder if he knows he stole it. Should I tell him the truth? Or pretend not to notice?
But if he smells it himself, that could be bad. The smell alone won’t kill him, but who knows what could happen—
Notes:
• Suzette – The older maid from Viscount Fennec. The head maid at the Viscount Fennec’s villa. She is confident, clear-spoken, and professional.
• Lushelara – A port in the Federation, accessible from the imperial capital by ship. It serves as a gateway to the Beast Continent, making it a potential escape route for Tiet and his companions.
• Alvenia – The imperial capital of the Dusselhelm Empire, located at the northernmost point of the continent. A flourishing city known for its many magic research institutes. It is a central hub but considered dangerous for Tiet and his companions due to Hermine’s influence.
